    Wow, what an incredible surprise Titanfall 2 is! I can't believe i never played this before today! The most fun i had in a single player campaign in a very long time. The platforming in the level is very well made, with the double jump it's really fun! I finished the game and not a single thing annoyed me during the campaign.     What an incredible package! The campaign is amazing (and touching) and you genuinely love the characters by the end: the MP is SO much fun! Their is a deep progression system too, and Gen2 is something to strive for now too, with unlocks only for Gen2 ! 10/10.

    Totally surprised by this game. I wasnt going to bother with it, but wow, am I glad I did.
    It just gets better and better as it goes on. You actually feel part of something much bigger.
    There are few games that I would say felt epic (maybe Uncharted 4?), but this delivered in spades.
    100% recommended.

    SO MUCH FUN! The CAMPAIGN... all I can say is, finally!!! Shoulda and coulda happened in TF1. Nevertheless, awesome level design, slick gameplay/shooting, great story, amazing graphics. This is what next gen should be about! So much fun! Loving MP as well.... duh.

    Titanfall 2 is a criminally underrated game, and in my opinion, one of the best first-person shooters to hit the gaming market in the last decade. Respawn finely tuned every aspect of the game design to exemplify the best aspects the genre has to offer. The single-player campaign is surprisingly good. The main focus is on traversing the well-designed environments to dispatch your enemiesTitanfall 2 is a criminally underrated game, and in my opinion, one of the best first-person shooters to hit the gaming market in the last decade. Respawn finely tuned every aspect of the game design to exemplify the best aspects the genre has to offer. The single-player campaign is surprisingly good. The main focus is on traversing the well-designed environments to dispatch your enemies as the lone survivor of a mission gone wrong. It gave me some of the same vibes as the Half-Life series, and that's a great thing. The relationship between main character Jack Cooper and his Titan BT is surprisingly heartwarming as well. Multiplayer doesn't disappoint, either. The gunplay is tight, map design is excellent, the weapons all feel satisfying and useful, the different modes are diverse and interesting, and the Titans are easily the best killstreak ever conceived in an FPS. The fluidity of movement works just as wonderfully online as it does in the campaign. Respawn has also delivered support for Titanfall 2 long after launch. At the time of this writing, updates have stopped, but since 2016, Respawn has added in several multiplayer maps, weapons, a new Titan, and an entire co-op survival mode all for free. The only paid DLC is cosmetic and not based on RNG lootboxes. Everything you buy you know in advance what you're getting and this should be applauded. Respawn are one of the last ethical developers to exist and they deserve praise for it. My final score for the game is a 9.5, but I always round up, so it's a 10 from me. My only complaints are that most of the boss battles in the campaign are rather dull and easy and some of the spawns in certain multiplayer modes can be frustrating at times. Other than that, I love everything about this game. The fact that more people didn't buy it is a shame. But, if you're still interested in 2019, Titanfall 2 can be had for dirt cheap and there are still thousands of regular players online, and more have trickled in due to the success of Apex Legends. Do yourself a favor and check this one out. You'll be glad you did!… Expand

    This game is an absolute blast to play. I struggle with games to find the right balance in gameplay and story. This has both and does it very very well. I haven't put any time into multiplayer yet, but the campaign is just so so good.     It might the best FPS multiplayer experience ever. Such a smooth and cool action. Polished and mostly balanced (the Tone cannon is kind of stupid though). The campaing is nothing special in the end but it never gets boring, its fairly quick and wont offend you in any way. Its just too bad for such beautiful piece of game to be published so horrible by EA. Hope the guys from Respawn getIt might the best FPS multiplayer experience ever. Such a smooth and cool action.     Simply the best. Fast, fun and furious. PS players aren't used to this kind of quality in a sci fi fps. This is the complete package. Buy and enjoy for years.

CoD always had interesting gun play and weapon innovation with plenty of progression/customization...but the movement has always felt stultified to me.....narrow and clunky. The SP is certainly cool, but to me is really just a primer for the MP which is absolutely packed with constant energy and intensity. The movement is hard to describe....somehow it just feels right. The titan brawls are absolute gorgeous mayhem. I confess, I rarely know what I'm doing during these bashes, but just being part of the mix with the occasional titan kill is exhilarating. The game modes are all fun, but Bounty Hunt is my absolute favorite. There are so many dynamic elements which interact with one another without being messy or confusing....it adds an element of dynamism the amplifies the excitement even more. Truly ingenious.

    For anyone who have wanted something more fluid and more expansive in their "twitch shooter", this is the game you've been waiting for. Get it! Easily one of my favorite shooters of all time    … Expand

    Titanfall 2 is the most exciting shooter I have since the likes of COD 4 and MW2. Seriously. This game is BY FAR the most exciting, innovative and detailed first person shooter I have played in a long time, particularly the campaign.

    BE WARNED though; Titanfall 2 brings a lot of cool new and interesting mechanics to the table, so it's going to take a while to get good with it in the multiplayer, even if you're amazing at other shooters.     "Titanfall 2" is a game that wasn't necessarily on my radar before: I never played the first one, even though it looked relatively fun, and I've never really been one to play many games distributed by EA, so I didn't really think I'd play this. Long after release, my brother picked up the game at a cheaper price, and I can tell you I had a rip-roaring great time with this one.
    "Titanfall 2," above anything else, is just plain fun: it's frantic, it's fast-paced, it's exciting, and it controls fantastically. And while I wasn't sure what I'd think about the Titan sections, I have to say that Respawn did a really great job keeping the Titans from feeling extremely overpowered. On top of that, the game is visually solid and wonderfully designed, and it manages to be one of the few games that has strong multiplayer while not leaving the single-player in the dust. The campaign is extremely enjoyable, the levels are fleshed-out and well-designed, and while the story may be pretty familiar, I really like the emotional connection between Jack Cooper and his Titan, BT-7274, throughout the story. Their chemistry throughout the story really kept it afloat, and the fast-paced gameplay kept things interesting throughout.
    If there's one tiny criticism I have about the game, it's that the campaign is definitely on the short side. Despite having plenty of room for exploration here, it won't take you a very long time to complete it.
    Even so, "Titanfall 2" is a brilliant game that you should definitely check out. If you're down for fast and fun shooters with interesting mechanics and wonderful design, you will absolutely love this game.

    I was pretty doubtful about this after I played the beta but now, after playing the campaign and some hours online I honestly can say: this game is brilliant. From the creative, very varied, never boring single player with it`s likeable duo BT and Cooper to the outstanding, well balanced multiplayer. It`s so much fun. They even improved the multiplayer; the movement is great, controls areI was pretty doubtful about this after I played the beta but now, after playing the campaign and some hours online I honestly can say: this game is brilliant. From the creative, very varied, never boring single player with it`s likeable duo BT and Cooper to the outstanding, well balanced multiplayer. It`s so much fun.     I can't praise this game highly enough... It's the most fun I've had playing a FPS for years. The campaign is superb (albeit quite short ) and the multiplayer is excellent.

    If you only buy 2 multiplayer shooters this year it should be this and Battlefield 1... and if your looking for a single player shooter.. Buy doom.

    This and BF 1 should be bought together if possible.. both absolutely excellent in different ways..plus this has free DLC for lifespan.. unheard of. Also campaigns both good

    As a former Xbox360 owner, this reminded me of the awesome times I had with Halo. The campaign is really enjoyable! I recommend playing it on Master difficulty. It makes you die so easily (just a couple of shots and youĀ“re KIA) that makes the usual slow FPS approach of shoot and cover unpractical and forces you into exploring the excellent fast movement possibilities that TF2 offers you toAs a former Xbox360 owner, this reminded me of the awesome times I had with Halo. The campaign is really enjoyable! I recommend playing it on Master difficulty. It makes you die so easily (just a couple of shots and youĀ“re KIA) that makes the usual slow FPS approach of shoot and cover unpractical and forces you into exploring the excellent fast movement possibilities that TF2 offers you to out-maneuver your enemies. And in case anyone was wondering where the player stats are, fear not. They will be adding that in a future update. Not sure why they couldn't have that ready for day one, but I'll let it slide...especially since the DLC is free. Brief note on single-player....I'm only about an hour and a half into it, but I'm having a good time. I didn't buy Titanfall 2 for single player, but it's engaging enough that I'll give it a full run-through.

    I heard predictions on IGN that this game is going to get lost between Battlefield one and Call of Duty, well that would be a damn shame! I didnt have this much fun with FPS in multiplayer or singleplayer since Modern Warfare 1-2!!!! I just started playing it 2 days ago but the mobility and verticality (jumping wall climbing) feels sooo much more natural compared to Black ops 3.     Very much enjoying this game, i didnt like the first one, more of a cod fan. This is the real infinite warfare.

    This is highly recomended, especially if you like fun games.

Once you've experience the moving, shooting and various abilities of both pilots and titans, you can't go back to any other first person shooter games anymore. COD and Battlefield would feel slow and old after this. Graphics at a steady 60 frames per second gives beautiful fluidity toI don't normally write reviews, but I must say that Titanfall 2 is hands down Game of the Year for me. Once you've experience the moving, shooting and various abilities of both pilots and titans, you can't go back to any other first person shooter games anymore. COD and Battlefield would feel slow and old after this. Graphics at a steady 60 frames per second gives beautiful fluidity to everything on screen. Playing Destiny now which runs at 30fps is now a chore. Single player experience was unique and really enjoyable. It introduced a few items that was never done before. But my bread and butter is the multiplayer, actions is intense and just really really FUN! Thank you Respawn for making this game and giving us free map expansions (Angel City). It separats yourself from the usual nickel and diming practice of the industry. I really hope for a Titanfall 3 down the road.… Expand

    Well, aside of my now all time favourite game Witcher 3 and its add-ons, this is definitely the best game I've played in 2016 and I gues it will stay in top 10 for this generation.
    Game looks and sound good, has a lot of excellent concepts packed in (time swapping, titan riding, great story, fun multi with lots of modes). If they upped the amount to 20 players or just reduced the map size a bit it would be perfect aswell. - also FREE DLC! Gotta love that.

    All in all this is by far one of the best games I have ever played - period. I will spend many more hours in multiplayer and I am sure I'll keep returning to the singleplayer every few or so months and just re-experience this incredible ride.

    Good luck if you miss out on t his game over Call of Duty because you will be sorry you didn't pick this game up. One last note the single player is fun too. It's about 5 hours long and I enjoyed it now I am online and it's packed with great players. This is a game we the gamers have been waiting for.     Joking aside this game truely is a gem and sets the bar so high that after playing it it made other AAA shooters look amateur. You can tell there is a lot of passion put in this game.

In a time were games are moving towards micro transactions and just generally Nickel and diming you for gun skins it's so refreshing to see a game reward you for actually achieving them.     Single player was not as bad as some say. Multi player is best ever, I just love it. Normally I do not play multiplayers, but this one is just amazing. Hope they will bring more maps as well at some point.

    Really loving this game. I believe it is the shooter to buy this fall. I had Battlefield 1 and just wasn't into it. Did a straight up trade for Titanfall 2 and couldn't be happier. So much fun!!!

    Titanfall 2 offers a fast paced ,fun single player mode that serves more than to just prepare you for the multiplayer, and a multiplayer that takes the fast paced nature of the first games great multiplayer and cranks it up to an 11 ,which makes it more fun than it already was . Simply, Titanfall 2 is one of the best shooters i have ever played ,period.

    Most of the reviewers forgot to mention that this is the first FPS game since the launch of PS4 that runs at rock solid 60 frames per second without a single hiccup in campaign (!!!!) and multiplayer. I cannot thank Respawn enough for the above achievement!

    I think I have never played a smoother FPS game before 'Titan Two'. The art style is awesome, the story quite right and the gameplay outstanding amazing. I fell in love with the gunplay and the whole mechanics of the game and I really can recommend this titel to you, even in 2023 it is a great title that should be tried.

    I typically don't leave reviews but judging on how many battlefield **** came through to give zeroes for a game that didn't match their playstyle, I need to do my job to contribute. If you enjoy CoD pace and style, you will enjoy this game. It is the same experience but with tighter controls, more entertaining movement, larger maps, and mechs. The most solid twitch aim FPS out there. RIP CoD

    At first i was VERY skeptical of buying and testing out this new style of FPS. And let me just say this, this game has raised the bar in First Person Shooters. I have played first person shooters for the past 23 years. and very few games make it on my list of the very best. And i am proud to say that this game has made it onto that list.

    The single player is one of the most masterfully paced experiences I've played since the early Modern Warfare Games. The multiplayer now features a permanent unlock system and does away with the burn card system all together. Progression feels satisfying and is always giving you new toys to play with as you work towards unlocking the next new toy. The abilities significantly, and smartly, change the way you play the game and result in emergent play styles that are fun and satisfying in their own ways.
    The presentation is polished to a satisfying degree resulting in a fairly constant, high frame rate throughout the game. The movement system, while impressively complex, is so well designed and executed that using it is intuitive and easy to understand. It's a point that easy to overlook until you look at other games that attempt to allow you to do half of what Titanfall 2 does with much less success.
    Combat is blindingly fast and satisfying from the moment you jump onto the battlefield till the moment you almost make it into the evac ship.
    My only criticism I have is that one can occasionally find themselves wandering in a barren battlefield due to running in the wrong direction after spawning. This issue will likely diminish as the prevalence of map knowledge increases over time but it can still creep up while many of us are still getting our bearings.
    Overall, Titanfall 2 is a game that impresses me directly in the wake up Battlefield 1 which also impressed me in a big way. It's the Titanfall title that finally does the series justice. I eagerly await to see what new content is coming in future DLC and, eventually, in the inevitable sequel.    … Expand

    Multi-player is fun with very good gun play at 60fps. The campaign won't disappoint either. Imo doom and titanfall 2 are the best fps out right now. My favorite thing is the fps titanfall 2 has achieved. The game play is so smooth and that transitions into the Multi-player.

    This games deserves so much more, the story although short is amazing and emotional. The multiplayer is fast-paced and full of action, customization and free DLCs. I'm finishing this game for the second time, the first one I did in one run because I couldn't stop it.

Titans give some great diversity with the number of options available. Weapon diversity seems pretty good, prestige-like system in the game as well to give you some thing to aim for. This is the evolution of Call of Duty! 1080P graphics on the PS4 look absolutely breathtaking and the 60fps is silky smooth! The campaign is an amazing addition making this one a MUST BUY!     Very fun and fresh take on an FPS game the campaign has been great so far has a lot of really fun platforming puzzles to break all the shooting and controlling the Titans is really fun. I am very much looking forward to the multiplayer once I am done with the campaign. Respawn did a great job

    The best game I played in years. Respawn fixed all things that annoyed me on the first title, also they didn't add some sh*t from Call of Duty or Battlefield titles. Furthermore no season pass and free life time support for such a game a a huge plus.

    This game is fantastic. I'm only writing this review because for whatever reason EA decided to launch this gem in between their own Battlefield 1 (also great) and Call of Duty and I would hate for Titanfall to get overlooked by someone who doesn't have the time, or money to buy three shooters this Fall. It is well worth your attention.

    Pros:
    - Tight as f**k and fast gameplay; the shooting feels great and satisfying, mech battles are awesome and traversing the environment with the parkour wallrunning movement rocks
    - Truly imaginative single player campaign
    - Brand new multiplayer modes

    Cons:
    - While the campaign is great, it's sadly over way too quickly
    - I wish some MP modes included death count stats, like Bounty for example
    - Could do with more MP maps but all future DLC will be free so we can expect more later
    - MP currently doesn't have stat tracking but it will be patched in

    Try out this game. Personally I think it blows BF1 out of the water and is far more fun to play. I'm not expecting much from the new COD after the beta. Meanwhile I can spend the entire day playing TF2; it's just that much fun. I urge you to try it out. This game absolutely rocks and is ridiculously fun. Bravo Respawn!    … Expand

All my doubts were for nothing this is a great game its not perfect but it is fun. I have even managed to not pick up BF1 since getting TF2.     the story is both action and mystery trying to find your son is never easy, but your character finds a bunch of neat people on the way, I love the quest, and love the dialogue options. Nothing compares to Titanfallout 4

    Who doesn't want to sprint up a wall amid gunfire, throw a grenade through an open window, cloak yourself mid air and land atop a mechanized war machine, drop a grenade into its hull for an unsuspecting pilot and then jet pack to safety only to be caught mid aim by your own titan which you then begin to pilot? That's just one of many almost constant action moments you will experience in Titanfall 2.

    I was really looking forward to playing this on PS4 when the first one came out. I'm glad that this is the version I got to try for the first time as it came with a singleplayer component this time.

    The graphics and refresh rate a amazingly optimized. No lag what so ever. The singleplayer story is funny, touching and a bit predictable, but it's not about the end, its about how you get there in Titanfall 2.

    The multiplayer is also refreshing after BO3 and IW with their whole pay to win thing (and paid DLCs), its nice to see that someone knows what the players want. Weapons are cool, the boosts are cool, love that grappling hook.

    I would say that titanfall 2 is the fps that everyone should be playing this holiday. SKIP ON COD and BF and try something new. :D    … Expand

    I am new to the TitanFall franchise and I was hoping it would be as good as everyone said it to be. My personal experience was AMAZING, I love the story and the Multiplayer is great! However there is one thing that I would want is like maybe a practice arena, so you can see what works best for your play style and so you could mess around with weapons that come with multiplayer.

The core gameplay was good no doubt but the lack of singleplayer and certain multiplayer nuances just didn't feel good to me.     For me this is the game of the year 2016. Fast paced, super fun multiplayer shooter with a brilliant single player campaign.

    Multiplayer has alot of variation and great maps - The fact that game has no seasonpass and the dlc will be free is 100% win-win.

    This is by far one of my favorite FPS games of this generation. The campaign felt new and fresh. I didn't realize that I sat down for an entire day playing just the single player campaign, and found myself totally and completely engrossed in the story.     I was afraid that the multiplayer population was going to be non-existent because of BF1(Ea seriously should have release the game a few months later....) and Infinite Warfare but now that COD is terrible and the Multiplayer is Pay to win.

    The Online base as increased like crazy and it's only getting better, in PC, it's now 3 times what it was from Last week.

    Respawn just want to say Big thank you for such an awesome game!

I'm not huge on campaigns so I only checked out about 2 hours of it. It's not bad at all but the Multiplayer is where this game really, really shines. Over eight Multiplayer modes(Bounty being my favorite) this multiplayer just does not get old. I purhcased BF! and LOVE it however I find myself playing Titanfall 2 more than anything else. It's somewhat brief (6 - 8 hours) but it's incredibly well-paced and doesn't waste the player's time or bore you in any way. You can expect coming back for replays if you enjoy it guaranteed.

    The multiplayer is different from the first game but still great.    Titanfall 2 has a groundbreaking campaign that is very well written and has the best leads on a FPS single-player mode this year.     Having never played Titanfall, I'm really impressed with the sequel's single-player. Concept, controls and graphics all awesome. Game strikes a good balance between spectacle and player agency. Haven't got to multiplayer yet, but looking forward to it.

That game instead is my everyday Favorite and got a few Friend who still enjoy every match we play. Sure Singleplayer is very nice, but Multiplayer is just Fun as hell. This is actually the first game I've played the single player story mode thing. It's pretty intense. Also, it helps learn to train your fingers on the controllers. Didn't play the first one and i was about to buy battlefield 1 as i've already played the beta until i had seen trailers of titanfall 2 and it was a straight love from first sight. The game mechanics are such a blast, gathered from every fps and action games from teleportation to wall walking, sliding, and grappling mixed with super speedy gameplay full of adrenalin coupled with the invocation of behemoth mechas that give the game another depth to separate it from other "too ordinary" fps games that seem to me super sleepy and slow paced now, using the same shoot duck run hide repeat mechanics.… Expand

This helps to keep the campaign fresh and not feel like you're playing the same levels over and over. Most levels end with some good old fashioned boss fights as well. Who doesn't love some good quality boss fights. Something many current games seem to be lacking.

    Next, the multiplayer. Wow! the multiplayer in this game is just so fun. The tight controls and fast hectic gameplay just keep you coming back for more and more. There are 2 very contrasting play styles in this game, the fast paced and very agile pilots who can wall run, and the slow heavy hitting titans. This allows the game to cater for different peoples strengths. If you find one play style hard to play but are very comfortable with the other. there are modes where you only have to play as a pilot or titan. The ability to call down you're titan in matches is not a kill streak reward but a reward that everybody achieves after a set amount of time. meaning even the more struggling players can call down their titan to help them start getting a good run going. playing the objective will help you to get your titan quicker.

    Respawn have took an excellent stance in promoting all future dlc to be free. Something more companies need to take note of. They will be releasing new maps periodically but will also be releasing new game modes and have advertised special weekends where they will make fun twists on current game modes.

    I can't recommend this game enough. i actually bought a few people this game as a christmas present to help spread the word about how good it is    … Expand

    Titanfall 2 Single Player mode is the story between a Pilot and itā€™s Titan. The story starts off with a man named Jack Cooper living in the frontier and working in a group called the Militia. The Militia is a group that was form to stop the IMC. The IMC is the former evil group in the series. Jack Cooper was a pilot in training and was teached by Captain Lastimosa and his titan BT-7274. Jack Cooperā€™s training was cut short because of an attack by the IMC. Jack Cooper went with a group of militia soldiers to go and stop the attack but failed and got surrounded by ground fleets. Captain Lastimosa and his titan BT-7274 comes to the rescue and saves Jack Cooper but Captain Lastimosa dies and his titan is severely injured. Jack Cooper gets all of Captain Lastimosa gear and titan. But when BT-7274 is finally repaired he does not want to go with Jack Cooper. When BT-7274 finally agrees to go with Jack Cooper they go after and try to stop the IMC and their superweapon against the frontier. Play the Game to find out what happens next.

    Titanfall 2 is a great game. At a price at $60 itā€™s definitely worth it. It runs very smooth on a PS4 especially in high graphics. In my opinion Titanfall 2 Story Mode feels classic and great at the sametime. Titanfall 2 has a very cliched story but taken into a whole new different perspective. In the story the bond between the Titan and the Pilot becomes stronger each mission you take. Whether itā€™s a boss fight or a Elimination. The gameā€™s gameplay makes you feel like youā€™re inside the game. The graphics in the game looks too good to be true. My full rating on this game is 5 out of 5.     This is an excellent FPS game both in single player and MP. I finished the campaign feeling very satisfied, and spent a long time in multi-player.

    Part of why this is a 10/10 is because respawn have stated that all further content is free of charge, so no pay-to-win DLC. This is how developers should be doing it....

    it's a short game but super amazing. great graphics, exciting and I loved the BT-7274 robot. Had it been released at right time, i would have been big hit.

    Graphics: good, Campaing: good, Multiplayer online: amaizing. Don't remember the last time I enjoy playing a shooter as I am doing it with Titanfall 2. and of course all DLC are FREE!!!! :) We need more games like this.

    Awsome game! I had it on my backlog for over a year and wish I had started sooner. So far I have only played the single player and I really really like the story. The controls and weapons feel awesome. Hopefully there will be a sequal.

    Played this game after trying out Apex Legends, of which I enjoyed the solid gameplay and mechanics but not the forced squad gameplay that, without friends, just isn't as much fun. This is an overlooked masterpiece. The game is gorgeous and gameplay fluid. Pick this up for 20 and you will not be disappointed. I see why EA bought out Respawn entertainment!
