Apr 18, 2018If you're after a VR game that's fun in small doses but has lots of long-lasting appeal, then it's quite easy to recommend Time Carnage. The action's a little repetitive to consider playing through more than a few stages at once without it becoming to feel like a chore, but it's an accomplished title nonetheless.
-
Apr 13, 2018This stationary, wave-based shooting gallery starts out slow. But thanks to the dynamic weapon changes and the overall fault-free movement detection this delivers decent no frills arcade shooting.
-
Apr 23, 2018There’s already a really good foundation in place for something that could be really fun to play. Tightening up the gaps in between battles, opening up new environments faster, and redoing the level design would go a long way in making Time Carnage VR really cook.
-
Apr 23, 2018Time Carnage is coming to a repleted game genre with too many rail shooters. It's not a bad game, but it's also not a good game. On the bright side - the tracking on the Move controller is very smooth and accurate.
-
Apr 10, 2018ime Carnage is well-made, and is a fine, competent example of its genre, with some excellent music and sound design, though it ultimately fails to stand out amidst many other similar titles that litter VR videogame libraries. Shooting dinosaurs is still lots of fun, though.
-
Apr 9, 2018Time Carnage may be just another wave shooter and the graphics won't be winning any awards but the smart control set up elevates it and leads to some enjoyably frantic shooting action.
-
Apr 18, 2018Time Carnage shouldn't be faulted for its technical aspects since those are absolutely solid. Where the title does fall flat on its back is in the generic design - it lacks any standout feature to make it distinguish itself from the ocean of available stationary VR wave shooters. Boredom sets in a couple of minutes after picking up your motion controllers and that can never be a good thing. Skip this game and choose one of the many (better) alternatives available on the PlayStation VR platform.

Playstation Official Magazine UKMay 21, 2018It's all too simple, and a little basic, and aside from brief moments of arcade fun brings little new to PS VR. [June 2018, p.80]
-
Apr 12, 2018A painfully dull test of endurance, Time Carnage is as lifeless as VR wave shooters come. Even for an over-saturated genre, this is surprisingly devoid of invention; stand in place, shoot hordes of incoming attackers, unlock a new gun, do it all again. There is at least enough functional content to save the game from reaching Pixel Gear levels of travesty, but there are many, many other wave shooters you should play instead of this.
-
Apr 10, 2018Time Carnage fails to do anything interesting with its gimmick, and thus this is nothing but just another shooting gallery. There’s a certain amount of fun to be found in the arcade and challenge modes, but slogging through the campaign to unlock the levels and perks contained within them is a complete borefest.

Apr 18, 2018Fun little shooter - nothing mind blowing but if you want to shoot at zombies, dinosaurs and robots with cool guns then is a fun arcade shooter
