I agree with some of the reviews about this being a missed opportunity. A GOW style game could work well in vr but this feels bargain basement and even though it is supposedly short I wasn't compelled to finish it. Graphics are just ok and environments/enemies need to be more interesting than this.

Theseus is a third person adventure action VR game. You control the player character from a third person view almost like looking through a window into the game world. A cool concept but the camera perspective can be a pain at times.

Bought this real cheap, I had some good time with it.
    Pros:
+ good presentation and atmosphere, that is taken to another level in VR
+ mix of walking, platforming, combat and some puzzles
+ controls are ok most of the time
    + cheap

    Cons:
    - short
    - weak replay value
    - lackluster combat

Theseus is a very entertaining and interesting VR game. The use of the third-person perspective in VR elevates the game and creates a fulfilling and unique experience. While the combat can be lackluster and constant camera changes feel unnecessary and bothersome, the narrative holds it together and makes Theseus better than many other PSVR titles.

I honestly believe a video game where you play as the eagle that eats Prometheus’ liver would be more exciting than Theseus. Everything about Forge Reply’s game is superficial. It’s pretty to look at, but the gameplay is terribly hollow and lacks variety. Adding to that, it fails to do anything meaningful with VR, using it only to create tension through a series of fixed camera angles whose transition are jarring and disorienting. It pains me to say that this is one game that should have been sacrificed to Hades.
