Apr 23, 2018The Witch and The Hundred Knight 2 is a worthwhile follow up to the first game and, even with some repetitive gameplay, is a solid title worth checking out.
-
Apr 9, 2018The story may put some off given its plodding pace and numerous quirky side stories, but most people who are interested in this game likely enjoy exactly that kind of storytelling.
-
Apr 8, 2018The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 improves on the original in many ways but still suffers from poor design decision.
-
Apr 6, 2018The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is not a bad game, but it lacks the variety, depth and possibilities found in the best Action RPGs out there.
-
Mar 27, 2018It's a good sequel, but it doesn't fix any of the issues of the original title and it lacks that NIS magic you expect from their games. If you really enjoyed the first one, you'll enjoy this one too.
-
Apr 5, 2018The game brings home enough with a fun and frenetic combat system, suitable for short game sessions and not-too-demanding palates.
-
Mar 28, 2018The saga of the witch and the gentleman promises certain things that he has not just fulfilled. An Action RPG with little spark and personality.
-
Apr 7, 2018It's true that The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 features some undeniably addictive combat and character growth mechanics but the general tedium of its campaign makes it a tough action RPG to widely recommend.
-
May 23, 2018Big fans of the original who really want more Hundred Knight will likely enjoy this game, but don’t be surprised that it’s only more of the same. As for anyone who hasn’t tried the original, save some cash and pick up the original if a different take on the hack and slash genre seems interesting. Otherwise, I would say this game is simply too repetitive without enough enjoyable payoff to where I would say playing this over another title.
-
Apr 23, 2018The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is an action role-playing videogame with a top-down isometric view developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation 4. Gameplay is nice, but the game maps are too dispersive, with messy plot and bizarre characters.
-
Apr 10, 2018Despite the friendly gameplay and interesting tactics, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 falls short in developing its characters and presenting a satisfactory storyline, thus leading to a somewhat dull experience.
-
Apr 9, 2018The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is a nice action-RPG that has his flaws and his charms.
-
Mar 27, 2018Like the previous chapter, we don't think that The Witch and The Hundred Knight 2 is a bad title, but it isn't an excellent one either, remaining sufficient. If you liked the previous game, you can easily enjoy the sequel, otherwise this won't make you change your mind.
-
Mar 26, 2018Poorly written, with a horrendous story to gameplay ratio, it's hard not to see Hundred Knight 2 as more visual novel/button masher than action RPG. It's a shame considering the combat can be genuinely great at times.
-
Apr 10, 2018The Witch and The Hundred Knight 2 is a colourful, funny, and interesting game, but it's greatly hindered by a drawn-out, convoluted battle system. Hardcore JRPG fans will get more out of this game than the casual player, but as a whole it just feels far too inaccessible for its own good.
-
Apr 3, 2018The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is more of the same. The original was already pretty repetitive so to do the same thing over with less interesting characters, randomised dungeons and less gameplay distractions is a big ask. There may be something here for major fans of the first title but if you're looking for improvements then you'll be massively disappointed.
