This episode continues the trend of being more interactive and the ability to react a bit more proactively. That's a good thing just like the increased amount of references to previous seasons and to the comics. Audiovisually it's in a fine shape and overall this is a fantastic episode, though not technically perfect.

Broken Toys is a superbly written episode, with visuals being some of the best the series has ever seen.

Even though it’s never going much higher, this third episode is treating with care all the topics it deals with. Its conclusion gives us high hopes for the big final ending coming soon.

Whatever awaits Clementine at the end of this road, she goes there with a full heart. If the finale lives up to the future set up in Broken Toys, so will we.

Filled with twists and turns, the penultimate episode delivers one explosive finale and, with only one instalment left to tie up Clementine’s story, it still feels like anything could happen.

As an episode, it does its job of continuing the plot of the prior installments while dialing up the drama necessary for a stressful conclusion. This episode may sometimes sprint on the way to that conclusion but it’s just going to be a few months until we find out whether or not the odd rush had a greater purpose.

Broken Toys is the best piece of the last season of The Walking Dead. It leads player to the final with strong choices and a good script.

Uneven pacing and a slumping middle act detract from a brutally action-packed cliffhanger that duly sets up the final ever episode of Telltale's The Walking Dead.

The transition from Telltale Games to Skybound Games feels as smooth as it could possibly be. The themes in Broken Toys tend to get in the way of each other, but otherwise, this is a solid episode that builds nicely into the finale.

The undead series about the undead stumbles a little in its revival episode, though it still retains tension, great setpieces, and undeniable heart.

Its one of the best episodes of the Walking Dead. It has a great atmosphere, your choices can make a difference and the game establishes great character development, especially for AJ. Just a fantastic episode and really exciting. Also, lets give a shoutout to Skybound for saving this franchise. Full Review »

I was worried how these last two episodes would feel. Would the game crash? Would there be bugs? Would there even be a game breaking bug?I was worried how these last two episodes would feel. Would the game crash? Would there be bugs? Would there even be a game breaking bug? Luckily, none of these issues were present as Skybound seamlessly took over this project and you wouldn't even know. The animation is up to par with the previous episodes and the voiceover work in just as great. This is the best episode in the final season so far and is longer than most. I am glad this season is shaping up to be a great one and I can't wait to see how Clementine's story end in the final episode. Thank you to Skybound and the staff that stayed to finish the story that began seven years ago! Full Review »
