Apr 29, 2017The Walking Dead and Telltale are both suffering from increasing fatigue, but this season’s penultimate episode helps this particular story soldier on towards a potentially satisfying, if predictable, conclusion.
-
Apr 26, 2017The Walking Dead A New Frontier started as a good game, but does not convince with the latest episode. While characters like David and Javier are well-written, this is a predictable slow paced episode. Episode 4 is the least entertaining episode so far.
-
May 9, 2017Easily the weakest episode of the season so far, with a meandering plot, too much attention to the least interesting characters and a severe lack of focus.
-
May 29, 2017It took four episodes, but things finally happened and are at least mildly interesting.
-
Apr 28, 2017An episode that feels way too flat and uninteresting.
-
Apr 25, 2017The weakest episode in The Walking Dead: A New Frontier thus far, Thicker Than Water is paced awkwardly and doesn't spend enough time exploring the relationships that really matter. A good conclusion sets up the finale well, and there are some standout scenes over the course of the instalment. But an underdeveloped villain and some hard to believe exchanges make this a forgettable episode overall.
-
Jun 7, 2017If only this innovative ending summary could have been attached to a better game. The Walking Dead: Season One was a bonafide masterpiece, and we’ve somehow gone from that, to something I wish would just stay dead.
