    Игра очень напоминает дожить до рассвета, может даже и лучше
    Если корече говоря игра с очень хорошим вызуальном стиле,с адекватными героями,и с хорошим сюжетом но первые 3 часа скучни,лицевый анимация подкачали и советую не пропускать эту игру если вы поклонник интерактивного кина,но советую подождать скидки    Игра очень напоминает дожить до рассвета, может даже и лучше

    This game would have been almost perfect if not for the graphics issues I encountered. They were pretty extreme at certain points, with backgrounds not rendering and characters' words desyncing from the audio.

    Other than that? The acting was excellent, it was funny, scary, and I enjoyed the story and characters a lot.     Гідний спадкоємець Until Dawn. Якщо вам подобаються ігри від Supermassive - то цей тайтл вам точно буде до вподоби. Дуже класно прописані персонажі, кожний зі своєю харизмою та характером (це, на мою думку, зроблено набагато краще ніж в UD та Dark Pictures). Сюжет в цілому цікавий, як завжди багато варіацій, дуже крута ідея з новим наратором. Що не дуже сподобалось - так це дуже легкі QTEГідний спадкоємець Until Dawn. Якщо вам подобаються ігри від Supermassive - то цей тайтл вам точно буде до вподоби. Дуже класно прописані персонажі, кожний зі своєю харизмою та характером (це, на мою думку, зроблено набагато краще ніж в UD та Dark Pictures). Сюжет в цілому цікавий, як завжди багато варіацій, дуже крута ідея з новим наратором. Що не дуже сподобалось - так це дуже легкі QTE (я не розумію нащо змінили стандартний підхід, або чому хоча б не зробили можливість ввімкнути звичні кнопки як опцію у налаштуваннях). Функція "затримати дихання", яка прийшла на заміну потрапляння в ритм серцебиттю - як на мене максимально не цікава, тому що провалити її майже неможливо. На PS4 дуже порізана графіка у порівнянні з PC/PS5, плюс ігра в цілому дуже темна (не знаю, чи це така задумка, проблема в моїх налаштуваннях HDR або просто недопрацьоване освітлення). Але все це не сильно впливає на сприйняття гри.… Expand

    very enjoyable game, inclusive and diverse. The game is a thriller/horror. Hilarious characters, slow story build and decent graphics. The graphics could be improved a lot more, they had better graphics for until dawn 7 years ago. The eyes need more emotion as well as the facial expressions. The most impacting characters are Kaitlyn and Dylan, the rest are almost completely emotionless,very enjoyable game, inclusive and diverse. The game is a thriller/horror.     De vez en cuando me gusta 'darles' a estos juegos que son más cine que videojuegos propiamente dichos. Soy un gran aficionado al cine de terror y Supermassive Games sabe como hacer verdaderos peliculones de terror, pero adaptados al medio videojueguil. Si no conoces la obra de este estudio o de gente que lo hizo anteriormente como Quantic Dream, te recomiendo que les des la oportunidad aDe vez en cuando me gusta 'darles' a estos juegos que son más cine que videojuegos propiamente dichos. Realmente en casi todos los casos, superan a lo que se ve hoy en día en el cine, pero por mucho.

    En The Quarry tenemos un slasher de terror clásico ambientado en un idílico campamento de verano, donde jugamos con un grupo de monitores que no se encuentran exactamente con lo que se esperaban al aceptar el trabajo. Jugablemente tenemos las mecánicas habituales en este tipo de juegos/pelis. Un poco de exploración para encontrar pistas que nos den luz sobre la trama, la toma de decisiones en un tiempo concreto que va a influir en el desenlace de la historia que estamos viendo y los QTE para resolver las escenas de acción. El objetivo del juego es sobrevivir a la noche y salir del campamento con el mayor número de supervivientes posible. Algo verdaderamente complicado a la primera, pero emocionante y sobre todo muy entretenido.

    The Quarry es el enésimo ejemplo de que este género funciona y lo hace de forma muy satisfactoria. Si ya disfruté horrores con ‘Until Dawn’ este es casi incluso mejor y eso que ya era difícil superarlo. Recomendadísimo, uno de los mejores juegos del año 2022 sin duda.    … Expand

The Quarry is my all-time favorite interactive choice game, it felt the most like playing a movie out of any interactive choice game I've played heavily due to the writing and performances and loved the classic horror movie feel. The writing was outstanding, the story was very enthralling, the character development was great and I loved how the majority of the characters fit partially into the very tired traditional character tropes especially tropes featured in the horror genre like Jacob the jock or Dylan the jokester or Ryan the loner or Emma the popular girl but they added layers and dimension to them to make them much more then just those tired tropes, the dialogue was very natural, I loved how perfectly they juggled suspense, horror, drama, and humor, and the twist of the fortune teller being the mother of the original werewolf was great and very surprising. The performances were exceptional especially from Siobhan Williams, Justice Smith, Grace Zabriskie, Lin Shaye, Brenda Song, Ariel Winter, Zach Tinker, Halston Sage, and Miles Robbins. The graphics were excellent especially the motion capture and scenery was perfectly both creepy and beautiful but there were a few glitches. The music was superb, the song choices were perfect and the score really fueled the suspense and creepiness. Also I gotta bring up how it was nice to see a same-sex kiss between characters Ryan and Dylan, we definitely need more LGBTQ+ representation in video games. Overall The Quarry is a pretty perfect game and one of my all-time favorite games I've ever played. Also definitely playing again cause my first playthrough Emma and Jacob died so wanna get it so everyone of the counselors survive.… Expand

Tak też jest w przypadku tytułu The Quarry. Produkcja przywodzi na myśl stare dobre kino grozy latSupermassive Games to studio odpowiedzialne za wydanie takich gier jak Men of Medan, Until Down czy Little Hope.     Lato ma się ku końcowi, grupa opiekunów letniego obozu powoli pakuje się, aby wrócić do swoich domów. Jeden z nich zakochany w dziewczynie Emmie postanawia jednak pokrzyżować plany ekipy – aby ostatnią noc spędzić na terenie obozu. Liczy one, że uda mu się zdobyć serce wybranki. Nie wie, że przez swoją decyzję, życie jego i reszty grupy zmieni się na zawsze nie do poznania. Brzmi jak standardowa fabuła typowego slashera? Tym dokładnie jest The Quarry – schematyczną opowieścią spod znaku grozy wzorowaną na kinie lat osiemdziesiątych.

    Obecność takich person jak Ted Raimi, David Arquette czy Lin Shaye mówi sama za siebie. Osoby te znane są każdemu miłośnikowi horrorów z takich produkcji jak Krzyk czy Koszmar z ulicy wiązów. Sceneria gry osadzona jest typowym obozie letnim – gdzie przecież rozgrywał się Piątek Trzynastego, a nasze wybory ścieżek zapisywane są na fikcyjnych kasetach VHS. Do tego dochodzi klimatyczna muzyka i młodzi dorośli w roli głównych bohaterów – spajając to wszystko w jedną sentymentalną podróż do poprzedniej epoki.

    Warto zastanowić się nad tym, co definiuje grę komputerową? Oto jest pytanie! Gra komputerowa to rodzaj oprogramowania komputerowego przeznaczonego do celów rozrywkowych bądź edukacyjnych (rozrywka interaktywna) i zazwyczaj wymagającego od gracza pokonywania wyzwań wyznaczonych przez jej twórców. Gdyby w tak bardzo podstawowym aspekcie rozpatrywać The Quarry to naprawdę z gry komputerowej zostało tutaj niewiele. Elementy QTE zostały tutaj zminimalizowane do poruszania gałką w lewo lub w prawo albo do naciskania jednego przycisku. Szczerze to samych sekwencji jest na tyle mało, że równie dobrze mogłoby ich nie być. Jedyne co naprawdę wpływa na rozgrywkę to decyzje (tutaj ścieżki), które podejmujemy od czasu do czasu w grze.

    Co ciekawe gra nie ma jakiegoś konkretnego celu. Nieważne, jakie będziecie podejmować decyzje. Po prostu na koniec The Quarry dostaniecie jedno z kilku możliwych zakończeń. Więc nawet jeśli uśmiercicie wszystkich bohaterów w końcowym akcie, to po prostu zobaczycie najgorszy z możliwych finałów. Co ciekawe sugeruje nam to sam wydawca, dając nam możliwość włączenia tzw. trybu filmowego – gdzie wybieramy sobie możliwe zakończenie i oglądamy The Quarry jako animowane kino grozy. Nie wiem jak wy, ale dla mnie taka marginalizacja roli gracza jest po prostu żenująca.

    I played this game twice now, during my second play-through I saw a lot of different paths and choices to make that I hadn't seen before. If you are a fan of horror/thriller games like Until Dawn, you are definitely going to enjoy this one. I never jumped out of my seat like I did with Until Dawn, this was less of a horror and more of a suspenseful experience.

    The Game-play was really smooth, whether you are new to video games or a professional gamer, the controls are simple enough for all players, plus, there are many accessibility settings that can give you more control and make things easier.

    The graphics were amazing, but sometimes I noticed problems with rendering elements on PS4 for some time, which is not a big issue for me. The facial animations and character models look absolutely fantastic, most of them are fun and very enjoyable characters, but I found one of them to be a bit dull. The game dives deep into every character's personality. It starts off a bit slow paced, but after some time, it gets really interesting. At certain times, I expected the characters to be way more emotional, but in general, I liked almost all of them and tried to save the majority.

    I didn't face any major bugs, only small issues like some dialogue that was repeated twice for example. The game is about 10 hours on average, depending on how you play. My second play-through was an hour and 40 minutes longer than the first one. (I messed up pretty bad during my first time)

    All in all, if you are a fan of such thriller/suspense games like I am, it is a must play for sure, I had a wonderful time playing it, but I don't recommend paying 60$ for games like these usually, even though it has a lot of re-playability, which is awesome, I really think it's better to get this on sale for like 40$ or less. It is definitely worth experiencing all the hard work that was poured into this game.    … Expand

    Honestly, i expected something new. The game is very good, but looks that it doesn't have anything new if you compare to until dawn.

    The Quarry is a wild ride. It manages to be a gleeful concoction of horror clichés and a substantial interactive experience. Your choices feel like they matter, as evidenced by the 186 different character endings. And with a gripping story and superb performances, this is one summer stay you won’t forget.
