If you have an affinity for arcade redemption games like I do then Pierhead Arcade is a worthwhile collection. However, just don't expect the games to play even half as smoothly as they do in real life.

Pierhead Arcade just didn’t offer enough to keep me excited.

The game is buggy and very much lacking in overall game play. This VR game is more a "try out VR!" type of game then an actual FULL on game.

Every time I completed a minigame (with the exception of the crane game) the game crashed and sent me straight back to the PS4 menu. Obviously, this makes the game fairly unplayable unless I feel like pretending to win prizes in the crane game over and over again.

Graphically, it's your fairly standard VR game. This is one of the games I can say did NOT make me motion sick, but that's only because it was literally standing in front of an arcade machine and occasionally teleporting when I felt that virtual bowling just wasn't doing it for me anymore.

Overall, due to lack of playability and overall content, the score on this one is low. I don't really know that I had my expectations set TOO high, but the game just didn't give me that excitement that other VR experiences have. Although, points for allowing me not to have to waste real money in multiple tries on a crane game.
