Jan 13, 2020If you want to be annoyed by the worst inventory system of all time, get this game. If you like an enjoyable play through that doesn’t penalize you for picking up necessary items, just go buy The Forest. TLD needs to fix their inventory, they claim they’re “into realism” but that seems to mean they hate the player having fun. DONT BUY.

Mar 3, 2020Greedy, arrogant, tone deaf developer. Leading the way in anti consumer practice. AVOID.
-
Mar 3, 2020The developers of this game being incredibly anti-consumer and just greedy. They removed this game from Geforce Now. I'm giving this game a 0 not whether or not it is actually bad to hopefully send a message that this is not okay.

Feb 27, 2023Fantastic if you want to die repeatedly while accomplishing nothing. Complete and utter waste of money and time.

Dec 5, 2022The game has potential, but is ruined by the lazy devs. They haven´t even fullfilled promises made over 6 years ago. Updates are few and far between, but they sure ramp up their posts in time for a nice steam sale. Just another reminder to not buy early access games. Now with paid DLC before the main game is finished.

Apr 17, 2023Overrated boring so-called survival game from a trashy developer called Raphael van Lierop.

Sep 24, 2017The Long Dark is the perfect survival game for Canadian kids who grew up with frozen toes and winter camping.
-
Sep 14, 2017The interactive and digital representation of an extraordinary ecosystem and of the decisive cultural and historical value that the authors wanted to allow all to explore, satisfying our playful and interactive needs, but always obliging us to live it deeply, with the dignity it deserves.

Sep 13, 2017The Long Dark is a satisfying experience of survival that is both realistic and has good game mechanics. It’s very unforgiving and can be frustrating but gets better the longer you play and learn.
