    A ture masterpiece that shocked me for a long time. A perfect combination of good story and good gameplay. If U can calm down and just fell the story, you will find every characters are acting properly----- everything a common people will do in this good damn doomsday. Recommend.

    When I was younger I was never really into story based games, preferring to play games like FIFA or Minecraft. But this game really changed that.     When I was younger I was never really into story based games, preferring to play games like FIFA or Minecraft. But this game really changed that. I first experienced it when my brother played it qnd I saw bits and pieces. As time went on I saw more and more of the game and made rhe mistake of watching a walkthrough before playing. But when I did play it, it was an experience I'll never forget. I don't know what it was about rhis game in particular but I experienced so much more by playing it myself.

    The story is one of my favourites ever told in any medium. It was truly an analysis on humanity and love, as well as showing rhe darker side of humanity that would be further expanded in Part II.

    The gameplay was a little clunky at times but for a 2013/4 game it is brilliant, as are the systems and graphics that still hold up to this day.

    It's really cliche to say but this game changed my life. I feel like I have a better understanding of the world in part thanks to this and as an aspiring storyteller it is the gold standard of how they should be told in any medium.    … Expand

    The best game I've ever played. The last of us will have you being dragged through a puddle of your own tears to flat out sprinting from your darkest fears. Storytelling at its finest. Great gameplay. Incredible atmosphere and superb voice acting makes this game endlessly replayable.

    The Last Of Us (2013) will forever be one of the greatest games ever made because it has truly changed the way games can tell stories. The graphics still hold up super well and the gameplay is great, but what truly makes the game a masterpiece is with its story, writing, and characters. If you haven't played it yet, then play it, you won't be disappointed.

    This game, while it is visually pleasing and it has an interesting story, I believe it lacks in terms of gameplay. First of all, at the start of the game, it's just:
    Boring cutscene
    Walk around a bit Something is implied to have happened Boring cutscene Walk around some more Something "emotional happens" Time jump Boring cutcene Walk around for some more Start the tutorial, 30    This game, while it is visually pleasing and it has an interesting story, I believe it lacks in terms of gameplay. First of all, at the start of the game, it's just:
    Boring cutscene
    Walk around a bit
    Something is implied to have happened
    Boring cutscene
    Walk around some more
    Something "emotional happens"
    Time jump
    Boring cutcene
    Walk around for some more
    Start the tutorial, 30 minutes in
    Walk again
    Watch another boring cutscene
    Now you can play the game, 45 minutes after starting it up
    Now, just by that, I wouldn't give this game the score that I have given it, if it weren't for the fact that this game is praised as one of if not the best videogame of all time. I get it, the story is great, I get that, but, are the other aspects of the game make it deserve this kind of treatment?
    As mentioned before, the visuals are great. Really represents the tone of the game.
    The gunplay though, feels uninspired. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but nothing new.
    Some mechanics like the ladders and the enhanced "hearing" are good additions to make the game stand out.
    All in all, this game is not bad, but I believe, that it does not deserve all the praise it has gotten.    … Expand

    Fun gameplay, great story, relatable characters. Amazing game. Too short for my liking but every moment felt impactful. Dlc was fun to play as well.

    A post-apocalyptic road trip that offers a fantastic, riveting experience, where destruction and beauty, and hope and despair, get entwined in a way that’s nothing short of genius, The Last of Us is so good that its somewhat repetitive, and occasionally dull gameplay isn’t enough to rob it of its rightful place amongst the video game greats. Therefore, if looking for an unforgettable action-adventure, with strong cinematic sensibilities, and a heavy emphasis in adult, character-driven storytelling, look no further than Naughty Dog’s classic, especially now that the remastered version has made the original even more stunning.
