    I'm always a bit hesitant to rate a game a 10. In fact, I've never done it before. But The Last Of Us simply wowed me. Writing this review about a year after playing the game and I still catch myself recalling key moments in the game.

    Challenging, captivating, and gut-wrenching. The cutscenes meld seamlessly with gameplay.

    The Last Of Us is a game I had lying around for 3 months before a friend convinced me it was worth playing, to put it shortly he was correct. Gameplay is stealth based and you will often find yourself hiding in the shadows waiting for your time to strike against human and infected enemies.     This game is a real gem. It's very unique in its own way and there's really nothing like it. It's not about mindlessly shooting through enemies, it's more about building relationships and touch that human side of us.

    The Last of Us may as well be the game of the generation. The Last of Us tells a beautiful and brutal story set in a beautiful and brutal setting. The relationships between each characters in a journey from point A to point B, the overall story telling, the beautiful attention to detail, the absurdly good cutscenes, almost everything writing wise in this game is perfection.     This is possibly the best video game I've ever played. Down to the beautiful visuals, the heart-wrenching score, and the characterization of both Ellie and Joel make this an amazing game that I highly recommend. I fell in love with the story very shortly in and it all crescendos in the third act to a perfect ending that leaves you not knowing how to feel about the story going forward,This is possibly the best video game I've ever played.     A post-apocalyptic road trip that offers a fantastic, riveting experience, where destruction and beauty, and hope and despair, get entwined in a way that’s nothing short of genius, The Last of Us is so good that its somewhat repetitive, and occasionally dull gameplay isn’t enough to rob it of its rightful place amongst the video game greats. Therefore, if looking for an unforgettable action-adventure, with strong cinematic sensibilities, and a heavy emphasis in adult, character-driven storytelling, look no further than Naughty Dog’s classic, especially now that the remastered version has made the original even more stunning.
