    The story is definitely worth playing, and the title itself on the list of games is a mustplay. However, I don't think the gameplay is anything special. The system of collecting raw materials and obtaining weapons from them does not appeal to me with its simplicity. The stealth nature of the game seems boring to me.

    It’s a decent game,story was okay ig,the combat is…very sluggish I guess. I enjoyed playing this game but it certainly isn’t a masterpiece

    es una basura llena de bugs, en modo encallado los enemigos de convierten en akuma y adivinan tus movimientos sin siquiera verte, esquivan balas y detienen bats de espaldas.

    Not much to say really, it is the last of us its amazing. Story is great, characters are great, world building is great but the game play was a bit on the average side and bored me most of the time.

    Une bonne remastérisation (quel affreux barbarisme franglais) d’un jeu de zombis surprenant, surtout venant de la part du développeur des Uncharted, des jeux légers et un peu idiots… sur les bords. On retrouve donc la noirceur (et l’ultra violence) du jeu original mais en 1080p et 60 im/s ! de même que quelques effets à la hausse et de meilleurs textures, assurément.

    Néanmoins, ce n’est    Une bonne remastérisation (quel affreux barbarisme franglais) d’un jeu de zombis surprenant, surtout venant de la part du développeur des Uncharted, des jeux légers et un peu idiots… sur les bords.     Néanmoins, ce n’est pas non plus le jour et la nuit lorsqu’on ressort du placard la mouture PS3 : le jeu était déjà en effet déjà très beau et très soigné ! En outre, on constate dans le remaster des ralentissements ici et là, surtout dans une zone en particulier, vers la fin du jeu. Cela reste du bon travail tout de même, d’autant que le (dispensable) DLC ‘Left Behind’ est inclus et bien entendu remastérisé lui aussi.

    On retrouve également une excellent traitement sonore, une excellente VF mais aussi les infâmes QTE et une interface toujours perfectible… Ce ‘Last of Us’ reste évidemment plus agréable dans cette version et encore plus percutant que jadis, malgré encore trop de séquences scriptées à la Uncharted (dur d’abandonner les mauvaises habitudes chez Naughty Dog…). Mais vu le résultat sur une PS4 de base, on aurait tort de faire la fine bouche !    … Expand

    The best game story ever. I liked so much how it make we thinking about Joe's decisions. I loved Joe and Ellie relationship. It's perfect.

    Solid game but worse than Jak. Poor gameplay variety (all you do is walk and fight). Good story and environments.

    the game is full of technical issues, broken AI; immersion-breaking logic and mechanics, the story is literally every zombie movie ever, nothing really very original.
    The sets designs are amazingly detailed and the models look real good, the acting is great, but im playing a game not watching a movie.
    The sequel is much much better.

    It's strange to write a discreet review of a universally recognized masterpiece, but somehow it turns out that way. Perhaps the game is just a product of it's time, and if I played it earlier, I would also get incredible pleasure.

    For now, I couldn't really get into this game as much as I wanted to. The plot is good, but not as brilliant as it seemed.     For now, I couldn't really get into this game as much as I wanted to. The plot is good, but not as brilliant as it seemed. For 80% of the game story doesn't move practically at all.
    There are only some restrained dialogues of the main characters and attempts to do something, failures on the way, an alternative plan, another failure on the way, another alternative plan, and so on. I found myself getting bored of repeated, similar encounters.
    Yes, closer to the final there was more dynamics, everything began to happen quickly and interestingly, but if the game was made half as small, it would only benefit from saturation and peppy, unobtrusive action.

    Of course, we would lose some of the beautiful, skillfully crafted environments. It feels like the developers has put a lot of effort and heart in the creation of this world. But alas, when the locations are beautiful, but the same thing happens in them for the tenth time, these segments leave a disappointing rather than admiring impression.

    Still, overall a nice and worth a try game.    … Expand

    При этом, это буквальна игра из разряда "на 1 раз, больше не интересно", но для такой игры она довольно хорошо справляется с кинематографичностью для своих лет.     It’s okay, not bad or Amazing. Definitely a little over hyped. It was my first PS exclusive game and it was a little disappointing but still well worth the play.

    Как для любого обладателя 4 плойки, эта игра является одним из мастхевов, которые все называют шедевром индустрии. Шедевра я не увидел. Плюсы: 1. Главные герои. Химия Элли и Джоэла, как и они сами, очень интересны и увлекательны в игре, отлично раскрываясь по ходу прохождения. 2. Дизайн локаций.     Плюсы:
    1. Главные герои. Химия Элли и Джоэла, как и они сами, очень интересны и увлекательны в игре, отлично раскрываясь по ходу прохождения.

    3. Графика. На свое время она была очень хороша, да и сейчас она порой создает фотогеничные пейзажи.
    4. Музыка. Густаво Сантаолалья - гениальный гитарист, его саундтреки это нечто.
    Минусы:
    1. Геймплей. Он ОЧЕНЬ скучный, спустя 2 часа игры я уже зевал и начинал засыпать.
    2. Сюжет. Его везде подают как лучший сюжет десятилетия, но в том же порицаемом контроле он был куда интересней и живей. Достаточно стандартная история родителей и детей.
    3. Второстепенные персонажи. Они все скучные, у них нет искры или харизмы.
    4. Геймдизайн. Его интуитивность - около нулевая.
    5. Стелс. Стелса тут много, а проработан он скучнейшим образом и сам сделан достаточно странно.

    Вердикт - самый переоцененный эксклюзив ПС4.    … Expand

    It’s hard to say things about this game that can’t be said about a good movie. Well written characters, compelling story, and a great, iconic ending.

    Nobody is booting up The Last of Us because they can’t get enough of the gameplay, which is okay but definitely not on par with Uncharted 2. People love it for the whole experience, and aside from a meandering ending segment, it’s a great    It’s hard to say things about this game that can’t be said about a good movie.     Played this game 2021. It's the definition of "didn't age well" for me. Story was cliché. Gameplay was bad. I was trying to be super stealthy and npcs around me were runing/jumping around and it felt stupid and anticlimactic. Also I like more gameplay in my games and less movies. Felt like an interactive movie and less of a game.

    This game, while it is visually pleasing and it has an interesting story, I believe it lacks in terms of gameplay. First of all, at the start of the game, it's just:
    Boring cutscene
    Walk around a bit Something is implied to have happened Boring cutscene Walk around some more Something "emotional happens" Time jump Boring cutcene Walk around for some more Start the tutorial, 30    This game, while it is visually pleasing and it has an interesting story, I believe it lacks in terms of gameplay. First of all, at the start of the game, it's just:
    Boring cutscene
    Walk around a bit
    Something is implied to have happened
    Boring cutscene
    Walk around some more
    Something "emotional happens"
    Time jump
    Boring cutcene
    Walk around for some more
    Start the tutorial, 30 minutes in
    Walk again
    Watch another boring cutscene
    Now you can play the game, 45 minutes after starting it up
    Now, just by that, I wouldn't give this game the score that I have given it, if it weren't for the fact that this game is praised as one of if not the best videogame of all time. I get it, the story is great, I get that, but, are the other aspects of the game make it deserve this kind of treatment?
    As mentioned before, the visuals are great. Really represents the tone of the game.
    The gunplay though, feels uninspired. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but nothing new.
    Some mechanics like the ladders and the enhanced "hearing" are good additions to make the game stand out.
    All in all, this game is not bad, but I believe, that it does not deserve all the praise it has gotten.    … Expand

    No offense to TLOU fans but I thought this game is WAAYYY ****** overrated.

    The "survival horror" parts, e.g. unfair instakill clickers in a ****** awful dark, spory basement somewhere, trillion bandits coming all over really brings down the experience. I must have killed like a small city's worth of humans and zombies. How do these many people gather in gangs and how do they function    No offense to TLOU fans but I thought this game is WAAYYY ****** overrated.

    The "survival horror" parts, e.g. unfair instakill clickers in a ****** awful dark, spory basement somewhere, trillion bandits coming all over really brings down the experience. I must have killed like a small city's worth of humans and zombies. How do these many people gather in gangs and how do they function as a coherent unit? Where do they find the food? How do they not kill each other?

    It feels awfully boring and frustrating and repetitive whenever your character just falls off a ladder or a hole in the ground IN A CUTSCENE without you controlling it, just so there is more tension, more bulletsponge zombies, more bandits you have to fight through.

    There is literally nothing new in the gameplay, and the movement actually is a drag - you can't sprint, you can't jump, you are not at all agile, can't even turn around quickly. The shooting is the same as Uncharted.

    The Left Behind DLC started out promising but turned out to be more of the same - waves upon waves upon waves of zombies and bandits. Like, who the **** are these people? Why the **** do they care so much about Ellie and Joel that they go out of their way into zombie infested areas???

    Finally: the puzzles are terrible. Find a piece of wood to carry Elllie over water (dive and you will find something). Find a ladder to climb up - but we really hid it well this time! Oh, this time you will find a plank - just come on and get it over with.

    Overall, I just really got through this game because everyone says it is a classic - but it's just Uncharted and worse, in a zombie cover - with the story beats from Children of Men, the Road and Old Man Logan. I don't get the "fantastic" and "riveting" part. Did the people think the story is that great? I mean, it's basically Old Man Warms Up To Little Girl Over Time While There Are Enemies Around And Once Again The Humans Are Worse Than Zombies.    … Expand

    It's a good game but for me it wasn't anything special. The story was quite good and characters were good written but it's not anything new that I've ever seen before.

    Good story,awful gameplay

    It's not stealth-action it's interactive movie.If you want some real action and have fun choose easy mod this will really dilute the boring gameplay and you will be able to get up from your knees without crawling through the floor all game and i must say in middle and end of you walkthrough you have some intresting missions something like Uncharted it's not bad    Good story,awful gameplay

    The relationship between Joel and Ellie was great, but besides that the narrative was extremely bland with boring side characters besides one pair near the end. It mainly consists of repetitive puzzles and looking at a building in the distance then proceeding to trudge there through a bunch of run of the mill human and zombie encounters then rince and repeat.

    A post-apocalyptic road trip that offers a fantastic, riveting experience, where destruction and beauty, and hope and despair, get entwined in a way that’s nothing short of genius, The Last of Us is so good that its somewhat repetitive, and occasionally dull gameplay isn’t enough to rob it of its rightful place amongst the video game greats. Therefore, if looking for an unforgettable action-adventure, with strong cinematic sensibilities, and a heavy emphasis in adult, character-driven storytelling, look no further than Naughty Dog’s classic, especially now that the remastered version has made the original even more stunning.
