    i think that this game its a masterpice, maybe the best exclusive game on the ps4 system, certinely its not a better game than the firs The Last of Us, but i think its a very good game, ill played my first playtrought being so skeptical because of the spoilers, but i have to say that the spoilers was manipulating with bad intentions... hope the people play this game first and enjoy it as ii think that this game its a masterpice, maybe the best exclusive game on the ps4 system, certinely its not a better game than the firs The Last of Us, but i think its a very good game, ill played my first playtrought being so skeptical because of the spoilers, but i have to say that the spoilers was manipulating with bad intentions... hope the people play this game first and enjoy it as i enjoyed all the journey.… Expand

    This game gets a lot of mixed reviews, I think ND dropped the ball with delaying the game resulting in the leaks. I was prepared and open minded for the game. The story and certain aspects of the game could have been better executed, However, The game itself is enjoyable through and through. it's directed my emotions in ways that I can see the red lense and feel everything Ellie does.     I was surprised with the level of change we saw in the characters from the first game. That being said, it still played very well. Graphically it was a great game, and The mechanics or some thing that I definitely appreciated and felt familiar with. If I could change something it would definitely be the story.     The Last of Us Part II is an artistic masterpiece. To just call The Last of Us Part II a video game would underplay the interactive experience.

    I know this game is not for everyone, but this is truly a work of art.

    Es un juego que no es para todos, es un juego para gente que sabe ver un transfondo, les duele y molesta usar a Abby y comprender porqué lo hace, pueden pensar que el final no cierra como corresponde y es entendible. Pero si fueran tan buenos narrativos los criticos de youtube... Estarian en una desarrolladora y no mirando videos así... Pero bueno. Para mí es un juegazo.

Our beloved characters are written poorly,the new characters we like are either killed by abby or leave, Then they try to force you to fall for abby which ultimately just makes you hate her more and joel's send off was pathetic. I could've written a better story with one hand blindfolded. Fortunately the gameplay is fun enough to keepThis could've been great but sadly, "you **** it up".     Отличнейшая игра с замечательной графикой (лучшей в этом поколении), потрясной анимацией, скрупулезным вниманием к деталям и неплохим вполне логичным сюжетом, поскольку после спасения Элли из госпитале, было совершенно естественно, что кто-нибудь захочет отомстить, все-таки человек 30 завалил мужик... Нормальный вполне сюжет, мне было очень интересно играть.     En mi parecer es un buen juego, tiene buen gameplay, buenos controles mejoraron muchos aspectos aunque la gente solo se fija en la muerte de Joel pero en el mundo de TLOU nadie ha tenido una muerte honorable y con respecto al final creo que todos quedamos disgustados con eso

    While the graphics and gameplay are great, shockingly great, the story is not. In fact its horrible. You also spend way to much time as Abbey a new character that they really want you to care about. It doesn't work. The storyline is just so terrible it almost makes you want to stop playing the game. Do not waste any money on this game. It's overall a beautiful looking piece of junk.

    Thanks to the Naughty Dog team for this great game. All my expectations were met 100%. Gameplay, graphics, plot - all on top. The best game of 2020. And do not pay attention to those who put a low rating, people have forgotten how to appreciate the beautiful. I wish the studio further creative successes and even more exciting stories.

    Neil Druckman e i suoi collaboratori hanno avuto il coraggio di scrivere una storia capace di uscire da ogni canone videoludico, ci sono molti temi sociali mai affrontanti in un videogioco, mai raccontanti e scritti in questo modo, sono presenti, si percepiscono in ogni momento e a volte fanno male, ti lacerano dentro e ti lasciano lì inerme seduto davanti la televisione.
    La narrazione è    Neil Druckman e i suoi collaboratori hanno avuto il coraggio di scrivere una storia capace di uscire da ogni canone videoludico, ci sono molti temi sociali mai affrontanti in un videogioco, mai raccontanti e scritti in questo modo, sono presenti, si percepiscono in ogni momento e a volte fanno male, ti lacerano dentro e ti lasciano lì inerme seduto davanti la televisione.
    La narrazione è intima, crudele, spiazzante e banale allo stesso tempo, rende il tutto più vivo, crudo, vero. Nella sua totale semplicità ogni parola permette di arrivare dritta al cuore e lasciare un qualcosa.
    Dopo aver finito il gioco c’è stato un momento di forte indecisione, ero stanco, mi sentivo svuotato psicologicamente, pochi istanti dopo capii che erano tutte sensazioni positive.
    Ed Ellie cosa prova durante l’avventura? Gli altri protagonisti? Sono stanchi, sono svuotati interiormente da un desiderio di vendetta che li divorerà come una spirale, intrecciati come l’uomo insegna, all’infinito, o quasi, fino a quando un qualcuno perisce o fa un passo indietro per ritrovare una sua stabilità fisica ma soprattutto mentale.
    Percepire così tanta intimità in un opera su schermo e soprattutto pad alla mano mi ha fatto vivere un’esperienza unica, ogni sguardo, ogni parola, provate a pensarci, non è mai messa lì, per puro caso.
    Per non parlare dell’aspetto Cinematografico dell’opera, una perla per il medium a cui fa riferimento, la cosa che ho amato di più è la scioltezza, la velocità e la violenza di un mondo che ha perso ogni logica, dove non si sa più cosa è giusto e cosa è sbagliato, raccontato nella maniera più cinematografica possibile ma restando e mettendo tutto a nudo, nella maniera più sensibile e coerente a ciò che accade, si percepisce la rabbia di Ellie, non ci sono i classici dialoghi in punto di morte con chi incontrerà durante il suo viaggio, l’unica cosa che desidera veramente è uccidere, i chi e i perchè li sapete o magari qualcuno di voi deve ancora scoprirli, ma sareste disposti a mettere tutto in discussione? è davvero giusto quello che stiamo facendo? Progresso tecnologico:

    Il motore grafico fatto in casa Naughty Dog e rimodellato per questo capitolo è stato capace di alzare ulteriormente l’asticella e posizionare The Last of us parte 2 come benchmark della generazione.
    Veder girare un titolo del genere su PlayStation 4 è un vero e proprio miracolo artistico e tecnologico, ma ci tengo ad entrare leggermente più nel dettaglio.
    Il rendering facciale, di ogni personaggio anche non giocante, e di ogni essere vivente e quindi animali compresi, è incredibile, ogni emozione è palpabile, le smorfie di dolore e di rabbia mentre in maniera infame e violenta e che in modo più totale non rispetta la vita umana si esegue un uccisione furtiva a sangue freddo da dietro le spalle con delle coltellate sui reni, non mi hanno lasciato indifferente.
    Ogni paesaggio, la sua gestione delle luci, gli agenti atmosferici, la neve. sembravano dei concept art in movimento, accompagnati da un Game Design ed un level design unico ed intuitivo, che va dritto al punto nonostante ci siano palesemente altre direzioni da poter prendere, al game design e alla grafica stupefacente si aggiunge la trama, il passare da un momento di narrazione all’altro e da un paesaggio all’altro poteva essere pesante, oppure un sollievo, ad esempio la primavera, le foglie per terra, i suoi colori, i cavalli, cosa può andare storto? Nel mondo in cui ci troviamo tutto, ma voglio godermi il momento.
    Per poi passare alla pioggia incessante, un vento forte, poca luce, vestiti bagnati, rumori di ferraglia e passi nemici, urla di clicker, un utilizzo dell’audio che raggiunge livelli altissimi sia in interni che in esterni.
    Il fuoco, le esplosioni, le luci, gli alberi e le piante che scandiscono il loro movimento in base al vento, tutti gli elementi a schermo, le animazioni di movimento più fluide e mai viste in qualsiasi altro prodotto sul mercato non mi hanno mai causato perdite di frame su PS4 pro.

Same general tone, amazing writing & character development, familiar gameplay & amazing graphics. In my opinion this was the perfect sequel to the first game in almost every way. Concept truly blew other games out of the water, and even leveled up from the first game in more ways than one from a story-telling stand-point. (& no i did not feel like an “agenda” was pushed, either, by naughty dog. Tbh i feel like it did a great job accurately representing human beings and all of their nuances.) 10/10 best game i’ve played in a while, definitely GOTY so far.… Expand

    I love morally ambiguous and flawed characters and I absolutely loved this game. The game is a technical masterpiece, the gameplay improvements over the first are outstanding and the story completely engrossed me from start to finish.

    The outrage is depressing and tiring.

The Last of Us is not a buddy cop movie, it is a heart-wrenching exploration of loss, regret, and (to some limited extent) redemption. The Last of Us Part II is a story of the same magnitude, and while it confronts players with even greater loss, ambiguity, andI can't help but feel that the negative reviews for this game are the result of players who never understood the original story. The Last of Us is not a buddy cop movie, it is a heart-wrenching exploration of loss, regret, and (to some limited extent) redemption. The Last of Us Part II is a story of the same magnitude, and while it confronts players with even greater loss, ambiguity, and cruelty, it contains the same fragile strand of hope as the first game. I can't say that I enjoyed playing this game as much as the first game, but that is because this game demanded even more of me. It required me to engage with tremendously painful concepts and story turns, and I am so grateful that the creators respected their audience enough to provide them with such a nuanced and thoughtful game.     I know people is pissed about joel's death but let be honest the game is a masterpiece the story about ellie and abby is very good how they faced each other in the moment and i like that the gameplay is great the characters are very good the only bad thing about the game is how they killed joel

    Juego totalmente arruinado por la historia.. buenos gráficos y buena jugabilidad, pero no se le puede dar otra puntuación que un 0 por destrozar una obra maestra. Los que lo tengáis que jugar esperaros a que valga 5 euros por que no merece la pena llevarse esta decepción por lo que vale ahora.

    I assure you that 80% of the people that rated the game bad have an emotional connection to Joel therefore were disappointed with how he died and how Ellie did not kill Abby for what she’s done. Ellie motivation for revenge was because of guilt not hate or demise. She felt guilty because Joel was killed because of her and that she didn’t forgive him before he died. I can explain why she did not revenge her adoptive father and kill his killer Abby. In the last “boss fight” you can see tears streaming down Ellies face as she drowns Abby. She suddenly got a flashback of Joel playing the guitar then let’s her go. Abby took Ellie’s chance to forgive Joel for what he’s done. She saw that there is no point in killing Abby because that would not help her get over Joels death. All she can do now is forgive Abby and move on.    … Expand

    My first impression is wow ... the graphics are great ... A walk in the city, the graphics are great, the atmosphere is like a Swiss resort, Gustavo Santoalala plays the banjo.
    I continue with Ellie! She can barely get out of bed. I close my eyes ... it's a coincidence, isn't it. New character, Conan or Abby, whatever you choose. She's looking for something or someone anyway! I see the new mechanics, I'm very happy. It begins ... clickers, runners and all sorts of others surround her ... and, Oh you see the prince with a pure heart comes. Philanthropist Joel saves her.
    Yes. And the naive, foolish good-natured Joel enters and staying with a group of strangers armed to the teeth. I do not accept it, absolute nonsense and nonsense. It was shocking.

    I go for fresh air….after this crap I think I'm done with this game... continue

    A few new things ... the weapon upgrades are great. New stealth challenges that I approve of. And yet ... the feeling does not leave me, it is always with me and the hope to get a positive feeling begins to diminish. I'm moving through Seattle, but somehow without a purpose ... to chase the bad guys yes, but there's something that's not right. It doesn't grab you, you kind of play heartlessly. There is a slight shift in the center of the story here ... it's not a little it's huge, but everyone will see and judge it.

It had a simple story but was executed brilliantly, I became attached to Joel and Ellie, and their father-daughter relationship.

    I know some people enjoyed the game and I'm happy for them, but I don't like them.
    Pros:
    - Animation
    - Voice acting
    - Soundtrack
    - Graphics (by far the best on the ps4)

    Cons:
    - Story
    - Plot holes
    - Characters
    - Useless jump ability

    There is so much plot armour in this, that it's ridiculous. I somewhat enjoyed the first half of the game but after Joel's death, you play as Abby for almost 10 hours. Then they use cheap tactics like playing with dogs to show you how much of a 'nice' person Abby. So Abby gets revenge, it's good but Ellie wants to get revenge, it's bad. You kill a lot of people who aren't responsible for Joel's death but let free the one person who is? wtf. I gave this game the benefit of the doubt but god this game is bad. I don't recommend this game, spend your 30 hours on another game.    … Expand

    Me encanto el juego en si, gameplay, historia, desarrollo de personajes por así decir. Obvio tiene sus fallas pero son nulas, quizás si se hubiese organizado de diferente forma las cosas que pasaban quizás hacia que funcione mejor todo, pero la verdad es un juego que si vale la pena jugar, pasas por muchas cosas el juego te hace sentir de todo un poco. Buen guion.

The details into the story, level design, environment keeps blowing my mind. One negative about the game is that the last arc seems rushed with all the amount of enemies. The casts are diverse as well and love the LGBTQ characters.

The engine of Ellie's adventure is Joel being killed and that works; but the way we arrive to Joel being killed by Abby is not so convincing. And the engine of Abby's tale is his father being killed by Joel. And that works till' the two paths encounter each other. Then a lot of sense is lost. Graphics are so good and playability tops the first game. Plus you can play it again and is almost guaranteed it is not going to be the same experience. So it is an excellent game with a not so good (but also not bad at all) story.… Expand

It would have made sense for many people to want to hunt down Joel and Ellie but this was just a revenge story for multiple characters. It makes no sense that the entire world stop looking for Ellie, Joel, or a cure. The game was intent on destroying everything fans loved about the first game. Joel, Ellie and Tommy are all destroyed, as are their relationships with each other and with everyone else. New factions are introduced and there could have been something very interesting there but the focus is purely on personal rage, revenge and hate. The story could have been redeemed a bit if Abby had offered to take Ellie to the Fireflies at the very end to complete what TLOU1 mission was and what Ellie had wanted along and what Abby’s dad wanted. The intro of yet another faction in the last 5% of the game was also never really explained. There werent even any lazy storytelling by way of found notes to give context to these rattlers, prisoners and chained zombies. Too many loose ends, too little character development, too little chemistry in the romances and no depth in these new loyalties/friendships that are introduced.… Expand

    В общем игра шикарна, если не проходить её на ютубе и ожидать того, что первая часть будет переосмысленна.
    Достойное ли это продолжение первой части? НЕТ! Первая TLOU была хороша сама по себе и ей не нужно было продолжения!

    For what it is - stunning graphics i can give it a 2, because thats it.
    Critics are telling you that it is a masterpiece but thats just not true, game lost its charm, not only because what happened to Joel, but also because there is no solid story now, noone wanted to play TLOU for revange, so why choose that direction?
    To the main complain:
    Not only the game gets rid of Joel in first minutes of the gameplay, it also makes you play as his executioner and tries to force you to feel for her, how? Maybe if you didnt kill the the main charcter at the beggining that would be possible, but game doesnt let you.
    If you wanted us to feel anything then maybe kill Joel later, so his death has some actuall weight to it? Let us play with him, let us play as Ellie, let us play as Abby and feel for her, dont just throw away main aspect of the game just for sake of doing so...
    If you buy that garbage - be prepared to waste 10 or 12 hours playing as character that you just want but during that time cant kill.
    Honestly id be more happy to play one of the flashback of Joel and Ellie for 12hrs than playing that thing.
    Even best graphics alone cant make the game good if there is a story not to be found.    … Expand

The graphics were impressive, but there were several glitches that ruined it at times. The worst part for me was the story, compared to the first it was sad to see so many elements that made the first one great thrown away. All stories and shows seem to want to kill off loved main characters anymore cause they think they are making something shocking and surprising, only to do it in the laziest way possible and hope that making it graphic and violent will be impressive enough somehow, so it wasn't original, it wasn't innovative, it was a bad move, I only every hated the antagonist after that, and lost even more interest when forced to play as them. The ending is just tragic and makes everything up to that point meaningless. Might as well have just stayed back in the town and forgot the whole thing. She would be able to still play guitar at least.… Expand

If you never played the first game you probably will give this game a solid review but based on playing the first game would say that some of the character choices didn't fit with how the first game ran. The story also show from the trailers that they where going in multiple directions with this game and left me feeling disjointed. I currently don't see myself buying a third game of the last of us part 3 if they have one only way I would buy a third game is if they did a prequel like red dead redemption 2 where they cover the life of Joel and tess and bill and Marlene and Tommy and Ellie mother covering the last 20 years even if it includes the comic. If you have never played the fist one probably better to play part 2 first or else you probably won't feel to good about part to these are just my opinions so don't let my review stop you from buying or renting the game. I can enjoy games and movies with non happy endings but this is just insanely stupid and it makes our favorite characters look like incredibly unlucky ** while the bodybuilding psychopath gets her revenge (killing the main character we all loved) and still gets away with everything.

    Btw Joel also saved the world by not letting the fireflies develop a vaccine that would've made them the most powerful faction in a world of criminals so yeah... You're welcome!
    And my vote is even without considering the SJW propaganda you try to force down our throats.
    Insanely idiotic storyline and SJW culture everywhere. You want to make a game about lesbian love? Sure go for it. A game about a bodybuilding woman? Hey I think she's still hot enough and would definitely nail her, so sure. A game about a trans preteen running from the fanatic family? I guess. Big broomhilde (from Robinhood men in fights) hammer wielding tank class? Ooooookay. Female deity for the fanatics? Fine. Their were parts I enjoyed, which was the parts of playing Ellie and the flashbacks of course. The gameplay was good I liked it, Visually great, and music is good but without a story this game has no legs to stand on.

    I've waiting over 6 years for a sequel, 3 years for it to come out, I was over the moon when I found out it was happening. Then this, why? I get what they were going for and I think if they which the two playthroughs around it would been better, Showed no promotional stuff on Ellie and joel. I think making you play as Abby was a bad decision especially after you was just getting started with Ellie and starting to get to know the other characters. I didn't like what they were going with Abby and lav aswell trying to push them like the new Ellie and joel that was silly.

    All in all I think this story would have been a good 3 game not the second and destroy all that character building from the first. Can't be for nothing! Felt like it in the end.    … Expand

    Loved every part of it. Great story, amazing graphics and overall a really polished experience. You can really see the amount of hard that went into the production of this game. I don't care what other people think I genuinely think that the story was actually pretty good.

    Technically, the game is very refined. The environment, vegetation, level of detail - everything impresses. The story varies - a very individual matter. You can't deny that the game arouses extreme emotions. The climate is dense, the game is long enough. Finding finds satisfying. Definitely in my top 5 games on PS4.
