    The beautiful animation and gameplay is familiar to many Naughty Dog fans. The music and voice acting is superb. However, the story just falls short significantly compared to the first installment. The theme of ‘revenge is bad’ is pushed onto the player with such poor methods. It became a chore for me to complete the game. Characters in the game are possibly the biggest flaws of the game. Politics and games have been trying to mix for a while and Naughty Dog sure as hell did not make any progress. The political narrative in the game is so blatant that rather than focusing on what/who these characters are you see them as a sort of ‘puppet’ representing someone else’s political views. It seems like every new character introduced has some sort of ‘characteristic’ or ‘trait’ to appease a certain audience. The story a conglomerate of political ideologies, trying to address all current societal issues. As a result it removes immersion from the story and prevents the player from caring much about any characters.… Expand

    Basically what you would get if you plugged a controller into a week-old diaper that sat in the sun.

    Game ruins all the character-building from the first.

    Honestly, the game in itself is not bad, far from equaling the feeling of the first opus since it does not innovate in anything compared to the latter. However, outside of the controversial scenario, by which, from a strictly personal point of view, I was disappointed, I expected more. 7 years of waiting, a crazy promotion and ultimately the expected thrill.     Это лучшая в техническом и геймплейном плане игра. По-хорошему, объективная оценка 9/10, но из-за людей, которые искусственно занижают оценки ставлю десятку.
    Тем кто не играл, советую составить свое мнение после прохождения, а не наоборот    Смеётесь?! Из-за одного сюжета так снижать оценки?

    As a game, it is 10/10. You will enjoy the gameplay, graphics, combat, and environment as well as pretty much everything else. However it does not have the story I was hoping for

Look after playing the game at first i didn't like it so much because it killed Joel BUT after understanding the meaning of the game which is to learn to leave your past behind and its also about forgiveness and its shows that the girl who killed Joel didn't find her inner peace after killing him she found it when she saved the life of the two kids and Ellie found it when she finally let Joel rest and moved on by letting Abby go. Abby lost a lot and so did Ellie, Abby lost her father and Ellie Joel Abby lost all her friends and Ellie lost most of her friends her relationship and two of her fingers only because it took her more time to learn to forgive it is not a perfect game but it is still a masterpiece and a game that has a lot of messages coming through it… Expand

    Siento que el juego está perfecto y aunque aún no sea costumbre incluir personajes LGBT, no es razón para la mala fama, tampoco importa quien viva o muera, por más cariño que le tengamos a un personaje en algún momento partirá y lo importante es disfrutar lo y recordarlo con cariño

The Last Of Us Parte II, un juego que te remueve por dentro y te deja muy claro que en la vida, todo varia según nuestra visión de los hechos!! ... GOTY y en el Top 3 de los juegos de esta generacion!!

    What this game (and its predecessor} have achieved is phenomenal. It's greatest strength is undoubtedly its character work - the voice-acting, the stunning graphics and the dialogue draws you in seamlessly, until you are so utterly invested in the characters that when one is killed the shock reverberates. It not only informs the plot, but also your own visceral reaction (just take a look at all the knee-jerk venom from other reviewers here and you'll see what I mean).

    It feels much too contrived to call The Last of Us Part 2 a revenge story. It's too multi-faceted for that. There are threads of grief, redemption, failure, insecurity, guilt...it's all woven into the same tapestry.

    The game mechanics are almost flawless - I played on a PS4 Pro on a 4k screen and could find very little to nitpick. Visually - astounding. I don't have the best sound system in the world so sadly I can't comment on that as much as I would like to.

    Don't be swayed by reviews - keep an open-mind and delve in. I genuinely can't understand how anyone could fail to be impressed by this masterpiece of a game,    … Expand

The first half of the game is beautiful, the Flashbacks are nice, the Flashbacks tell us how the relation between Joel and Ellie is every time worst, but the second half we control Abby, the villian. This part is funny but I would've like that they would've do this with Ellie… Expand

    One of the best games and stories I have experienced. It seems the negative hate comes from individuals that didn’t fully understand the direction naughty dog was going. That is their option and they are entitled to it. From the graphics to the game play this is a perfect ten out of ten.

I felt that there were some pacing issues and the ending (s) seemed to go on forever like Lord of the Rings... But it was satisfying once I got there for real. The art in this game is unmatched. Really great job by the team. I really felt for the characters as well. The writing was very well done. I didn't want to like Abby at all, but in the end I was glad they went that route and had you see everything from her perspective. The multiple flashbacks were a little confusing but they tied it up well.… Expand

    Its dark and the story is so deep and you have to use your brain if u want to know why is this game better then the first last of us... But this is a perfect game, Not for every one but this not change a single thing. PERFECT 10/10

    Genius, smart, mature and a true courageus game, maybe the best game of all time, it's a real masterpice in every damm aspect, technically perfect, an experience that delivrey the most amplitude and variety of feelings!! AMAZING!!

    Well done Naughty Dog, all the artists, cast, designers, writers, and musicians for producing a masterful example of a balanced and compelling account of the true cost of vengeance, a game in which there are no winners and everyone pays to play, like it or not.

    For those who struggle to grasp this, read more...please. The simple act of reading a work of fiction inherently guides the mind to consider all sides of situations, putting one's self in the shoes of another. I suppose this should not come as a surprise, given the state of things in the world...but it is still disappointing that so many find it impossible to broaden their scope and view the humanity of others.

El mejor juego de la generación, lastima que haya gente a la que sólo le gusten los finales felices porque lo que han hecho con este juego en cuanto a la historia era algo que pensaba que no vería en un videojuego nunca, el final del primero ya fue atrevido al no ser el típico final feliz pero lo que han hecho aquí lo es muchísimo más, el juego no es perfecto, todo hay que decirlo, demasiados recuerdos y un bajón enorme cuando pasas de manejar a Ellie a manejar a Abby, pero por todo lo demás es una delicia jugarlo, las animaciones son increíbles, al igual que los gráficos, una genialidad en mi opinión.… Expand

    This game is a masterpiece of the PS4 era. Graphics look like next gen. Attention to detail is incredible. Storyline is surprising, captivating and thought provoking. Gameplay is really fun and the changing environments and levels means it doesn't feel repetitive. I'll replay it and I never do that. I don't think I've experienced a game on this level before.     I don't really understand the haters — basically it seems some people are simply way too attached to specific characters and where they think a story should predictably go. The same sort of people who thought the fan-service given at the end of Game of Thrones was awesome.

    Others are just bigots.

    And I think it's likely that neither of them want to admit it. So they claim there are plot holes or that there are gameplay glitches or some other BS to explain why they're not happy.

    The only valid reason I've really heard for why some people don't like it is that it is extremely bleak. If you're easily depressed or get too emotional. Perhaps Spyro the Dragon remaster would be a better option.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
