    Historia no apta para gente inmadura y sin capacidad de empatía, pero una delicia si aceptas las reglas de juego de un verdadero mundo postapocaliptico, con supervivientes que son gente con matices , ni buenos ni malos.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. For anyone wanting an in depth read as to why the game is being viewed negatively by most gamers:

    Firstly, no, it isn't about a specific character's death. Please let that weak argument go to justify why the game is good in all other aspects.

    Very clearly a ton of work was put into excellent gameplay, graphics and sound. They are all absolutely top notch, you'd expect nothing less of a game from them. The story on the other hand, it was well acted by Troy Baker, Ashley Johnson and the rest of the crew, but the reasoning for this story to exist seems off. I couldn't place my finger on what was wrong with it at first, but as the hours went by while playing it I got the sense that the game existed for namesake alone. Not because they had a story to tell. It's utterly clear in the end that this game's story exists because of one idea they had. It is a B movie, straight to DVD style plot twist with absolutely no impact due to its execution. Where the first game had character development on all fronts, mainly Ellie and Joel, the sequel throws that all out the window.

    Granted Abby’s story isn’t particularly intriguing whatsoever ( a new character you're forced to play as for 10+ hours ) and there is an arc that feels contrived ( extremely convenient timing, for a writer hoping to craft a redemption tale ) and to top it all off the ending is extremely disappointing. Early-game portrayals of Abby’s friends are intentionally misleading ( behavior and attitudes inconsistent with those revealed later ), and overall there are significant issues with narrative structure and timeline. So in the end the game is intentionally disturbing, emotionally manipulative, intentionally unsatisfying. Does that make it a good game? No. It's just an intentionally disturbing, emotionally manipulative, intentionally unsatisfying game.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's been a really long year for everyone. What with COVID19 and all.. But I've waited even longer for this game to come out. And I just finished it. If a game is "supposed to be bad", why after 30 hours do I feel like I needed more? The story is masterfully crafted with very precisely calculated time jumps. 6 YEARs! That's how long it took them to make this game. 6 years! And I can't believe the sheer amount of hate it's received in only 48 hours since it's release, simply because it dared to do something different. So screw all of you who review bombed this game, because honestly, I absolutely loved the game from the start to finish. It doesn't affect the gameplay one bit that they're LGBTQ+ characters, so why should you care? I understand the toxic gaming community is butthurt about certain characters being killed off, but what did you expect was going to happen?     The graphics are superbs but the rest is uninteresting. The gameplay is slow and the story is a finger to the fans. You could love this game but it wasn't the case for me. I've played three hours and I stopped.

    Probably the biggest disappointement i have ever felt about a cultural product in my life. The last Star Wars movies feel like they have been written by William Faulkner or Aristote compared to this gargabe. Even if you set aside all the agenda they try to shove down your throat it is still utter garbage.

    I loved the first one so I was really looking forward to this one. I avoided all the leaks, spoilers and controversy and went through the game without knowing anything. here is my opinion of it:

    Pros: -amazing graphics and sound for a ps4 game.     -Most of the new characters are totally unrelatable and one dimensional.
    -The gameplay is basically the same from 7 years ago with some minor tweaks. By now we have seen that in many games and it has started to show its age.
    -The game is padded as much as possible, which ends up feeling quite repetitive and even boring. There are a few way too long sections that could have been cut to make a bit shorter but tighter game.

    Conclusion:
    It is not a bad game but it is not a good game either. If you haven't play the first one you may enjoy this, but if you grew to love first game like I did I doubt that you would enjoy this.

The story is very bad storyline and ellie didn't kill abby that is all for nothing but just killed all her friends and joel's death is the most disappointing moment of the way naughty dog killed off the main character from the 1st game. Some of the story doesn't make sense. Very disappointing if naughty dogs listened to the fan to change the story… Expand

TLOU2 checks all the boxes that a mediocre game is expected to have:clunky controls, cliche story lines and longer than it should have been. The best aspect of this game is its visual which shouldn't come as that much of a surprise as the developers have spent their last seven years on it. in a nutshell,The Last of Us Part II should have been developed as a new IP instead of a sequel.     I gave it a 2 because the voice acting and graphics are beautiful but the story was distasteful and quite frankly a mess. It felt pointless in the end.

    Disgusting game. All game is a feminism and lgbtq propaganda. It looks like that they have made this game like that only to make good rating so it is better to destroy their rating to show them that they should make games to have fun, not to teach to be tolerant. It is school responsibility.

    It is truly painful to see one of the greatest games ever made to become a sjw ego fest. The game treated characters we loved into stupid and senseless people which ended off costing their life, and unnecessary sex scenes too. Most of this was done to promote more women and less men in the game, and it is heavily put out there that this game was strictly to enforce an agenda.     Why, tell me why? It is a game that really generates discomfort for not being what was expected, it is at a point a story that does not make sense, it is a medium game because it does not finish closing the story, we wanted diamond and we only received gold, it is painfully medium

    The last Jedi of video games. Worst possible sequel the game could have had. Abby is the worst character, the story telling is pathetic. Game is really sad excuse for a sequel to an all time great.

    The games story is garbage, beloved characters degraded down to nothing and the gameplay is so 2013. the graphics are choppy and the lighting looked way better on the fist game playing this was uninspiring. And the false advertising tactics used by Neil Druckmann and Naughty Dog to get consumers to buy this product was completely disgusting and unacceptable. To me this is none canon andThe games story is garbage, beloved characters degraded down to nothing and the gameplay is so 2013. the graphics are choppy and the lighting looked way better on the fist game playing this was uninspiring. Me parece una falta de respeto las críticas negativas masivas a las horas de estreno del juego (son solo trolls) cuando para terminar el juego necesitas unas 35-40 hs. En lo personal me ha encantado, y me alegra como termino. Sentí mucha empatía por Abby, al final ella terminó convirtiéndose de alguna manera en Joel al proteger a Lev.… Expand

You want to see these characters have a happy ending. You wait for a sequel. And it doesn't come for seven years.     There is a decided lack of black reverence and worship in this game. In stead of embracing the KINGS of Africa that the black man are, they chose to show women loving one another rather then black kings inseminating white women as it should be.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
