    I never expected anything about this game, but still disappoint me. I was really afraid that the spoilers wherer real. But damn this was worst. Congrast to the team that develop this, it was very hard to **** this up, and you made it.

    I really hate to see people who have yet to play the game rate it over a leak. I am half way through the game and believe this game is just as good or better than the original. Naughty dog worked hard on this game and it shows. Please buy the game and experience it.

    I cannot believe the hate this game is graphically amazing voice acting is great. The storytelling is great I can see why people are hating on it because of the gut wrenching way they deal with the old characters made me feel sick but its edgy storytelling with a bleak future. I am sorry if it offends you snowflakes. The horror factor is spot on and very entertaining. The fights and AI isI cannot believe the hate this game is graphically amazing voice acting is great.     I can't in good faith give this game a 0/10 because the visuals are drop dead gorgeous, but that's honestly the only positive there is to offer. This game and it's story completely misfired and fails to recognize what millions of players found so special in the original game.     the media is giving this game 100 bombs, when it clearly doesn’t deserve it. The character developing feels like a commadore 64 trying to run **** crysis and file the entire nations taxes at the same time. The touch of the original is completely gone. The story is terrible and predictable, and the gameplay is even worse. This game can be made **** easy with a simple few switches in thethe media is giving this game 100 bombs, when it clearly doesn’t deserve it.     Basically. If you have Depression or anxiety, don’t play this.
    The main spoilers you may have heard aren’t the worst of it This is depressing and I dissociated very close to the beginning of the game due to the violence.     I have never hated a character before and I despise Abby.
    Also for people looking for LGBT representation... this failed at that too. All there is is suffering and the main message I got from this game around that is that being gay causes it.
    The graphics were great but if I’m honest, that just made everything so much worse.
    I am so glad I had the beginning spoiled for me because I had originally pre-ordered the Ellie edition, I have no idea what that would have done to me mentally, owning 300 dollars worth of stuff from such a terrible game. I would have lost it. As it was I played for free thanks to a friend that gave me their game after they quit at 2 hours in, I still feel like I deserve a refund.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. game is still a walking simulator, no new developments in game mechanics, now to the nitty gritty, don't get me wrong I have no issues with gay people irl or in the game I'm playing and I got no problems with some girl on girl action, my issue with it is it seems less like a story development and more of a marketing ploy to get traction in the media(I have no gripes with gay people being in games, I think they should be better represented, I just think using it as a marketing tactic is scummy)… Expand

    Now for my pointless review.

    Looks great. Great VA.
    Mostly a walking sim
    Terrible story that hurts the first games legacy.

    Characters make descions they wouldn't leading to Joel getting golf clubbed to death by Abby.

    We're supposed to care about Abby and understand why she killed joel while we play as her. No one wanted this. We were all fine with killing the doctor in TLOU and couldn't care about abby. We want to kill the character that kills joel not play as her and beat up ellie as her.

    The story goes from abby wanting revenge to ellie to abby and then ellie.

    They both kill each others friends in the name of revenge. Ellie can't get over Joel's death and leaves Diana to hunt abby knowing she'll lose diana if she makes this choice. She does and doesn't even kill her. All of a sudden she thinks back to joel and apparently he wouldn't want her to kill abby even though we all know he would.

    So abby lives and ellie basically loses everything as diana and her baby leave.

    Tommy also gets shot in the face lives but loses his brother and his wife leaves him.

    If you're a fan of the original game then you will hate this.
    The most fun I had was seeing a new character whom I hated get taken out by a clicker.

    the only positive point is the graphic part. it's a dazzling job even with all the blur and serrated edges, I'm playing on the base ps4, and I see a lot of serrated edges, the Game play has been improved. but there are no surprising innovations, now the worst of all is his plot, for me it was clear that the director forced his political vision and forgot the art, for me it was clear why hethe only positive point is the graphic part. it's a dazzling job even with all the blur and serrated edges, I'm playing on the base ps4, and I see a lot of serrated edges, the Game play has been improved. but there are no surprising innovations, now the worst of all is his plot, for me it was clear that the director forced his political vision and forgot the art, for me it was clear why he killed "that" character quickly and meaninglessly, it is because "that" character represents everything that the director hates, he is from a traditional conservative family, he is a hetero, a man with morals and conservative principles and does not use drugs, the graphic part cannot overcome this, he tried to impose his progressivism and this is not good… Expand

I made an account just to give a bad review to save more people from buying it.. Did I really wait for 4 years to see my favorite character die for absolute no reason?! And then I play the whole game hoping to get revenge, but just when I should I stop because Joel was good at playing guitar? Are you kidding me? Is this some kind of April joke that is happening in June? I can't believe that the very same people who made the first version of this, are now presenting this **** as the second version. I dunno about you but I'm gonna think it just doesn't exist anymore.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
