Made an account just to post this. What a sick and distasteful way to kill one of the most beloved characters your studio has ever put out. Truly sickening. Furthermore the way characters act completely goes against what they would have done from the first game. THIS GAME IS NOT CANON IF IS A FAN FICTION. Great graphics. Amazing sound. Such potential. How lame is the story though. Get woke Go broke. Wish I had known before I wasted a penny

I won't invent the bicycle 2 by saying the same things that the majority of others are saying. I totally agree with them. Do not buy the game and support this sh*t

Masterful storytelling and gameplay, I personally cried 4 times during the campaign. I truly believe is a game that everyone should (with an open mind) play. Let’s all hope the vicious cycle of hatred stops one day.

You can shine a turd up as much as you want, but when your story is an utter disgrace to the previous installment, your turd sandwich still tastes like $#!+. Save your preaching for another place.

Terrible story it is, Joel and Ellie are dead and sex scene quite not good, quite double standard for Sony censored other Japanese games on non-nudity bikini while their exclusive get free pass

1 for the hardest work by producing the game, in the mindtime, screenwriter ruined this game. GAME IS FOR GAMERS, NOT FOR YOUR POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. As you wish, NO ONE WOULD BUY IY.

The game is a walking simulation and was created solely to promote Judaism and homosexuality.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game's story revolves around revenge for Joel's death (And what a stupid and stolen death, Joel deserved a better death); but when it comes time to close the story, and have revenge, they simply put it for us to try to marry Ellie. What the hell is this bow ?!
But we have a new chance to avenge Joel, and when we're happy to kill Abby, Ellie doesn't finish and let her go unpunished. Even with the character's journey, to find Abby, in the end this journey is simply thrown away. Final is disappointing, and they managed to throw away the whole arc created, by the death - silly and stupid - of Joel.

This game is really good graphically really good and for the story some people are way too soft. They should call themselves beta males since they are getting so offended about it

We can all agree Naughty Dog has great talent. We should also agree it all went to crap in Part 2 of The Last of Us. Easy game play, and something I guess they consider a story? Literally the worst sequel I have ever seen. Good job Naughty Dog.

The way Ellie attacks has also changed, everything is so real and magnificent and I think it’s super important that you have lgbtq + characters because there isn’t just straight in this world!

The advertising was completely deceptive and misleading and I’m not ok with this (those who have played the game or who are aware of the leaks will understand).
Strong on a technical level I suppose (if you ignore some cringeworthy dialogue here and there), but what made us love the original game so much was the characters and their heartfelt interactions.

Without getting into spoiler territory, it’s simply depressing and a letdown.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’ve waited for along time for this game only to be disappointed. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is mediocre and repetitive but that’s not why I play these types of games, I play them for story and to have fun. The only time I enjoyed playing was during flashbacks especially Ellie’s birthday which showed what we all loved about the first game the bond between Ellie and Joel. The characters feel like they’ve been stripped of all important character traits that made them who they are in part 1. Ellie the girl who’s killed hundreds without batting an eye starts to feel sympathy for Joel’s killers and lets Abby go in the end. Joel despite surviving for 20 years reveals his name and lets his guard down around a bunch of strangers. Expand

Don't own the game (go ahead sue me sjw tlou2 defenders), no point in it. Wonder how Anita is liking her new pet, must like it a lot to use him ruin one of the most anticipated games of all time just so that it can be politically correct. I hope Neil gets shown in detail how to use a 5-iron.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
