    this is an absolute atrocity of a game. after the success of the first one i genuinely did not want them to go ahead with this sequel, as the first was tied up beautifully. this game did not need to exist, and it should not have been released. the gameplay is exactly the same as the first, but my god the writing is atrocious. spare yourself the misery and don't play this.

    Aos brasileiros e portugueses de plantão, não vale a pena gastar seu dinheiro nisso, 279R$ em um jogo que não prende a atenção, não dá vontade de jogar, com história ruim, personagens sem carisma. Sem contar que todo passado dos personagens foi esquecido para enfiarem crítica social no lugar. Os personagens conseguem ser irritantes, todos parecem um bando de adolescentes mimados.Aos brasileiros e portugueses de plantão, não vale a pena gastar seu dinheiro nisso, 279R$ em um jogo que não prende a atenção, não dá vontade de jogar, com história ruim, personagens sem carisma.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I would give a better score if the developer had some respect for the original. Gameplay is excellent and the game looks stunning. Neil Druckman clearly felt his own agenda was more important then the love for the original lore of millions of fans. He might have wondered how he could top what happened with Starwars. And he did. The story was ok for the first 12 hours, but kept getting worse after that. Naughty dog, skip Druckman, and find someone who loves games, the fans and writing a beautifull touching story. But if your goal is to get your fanbase as depressed as possible, you have succeeded.(not talking about myself) And for what its worth, i don't care about gender, sexual preferences or ideology. Focus on a good story. Naughty dog had every tool available to create the most epic game ever, and yet brought us a forced tale of weak morals. A tale of lost opportunity. And a lot of potential lost.… Expand

    This IS NOT a game for everyone. Its a game that will divide people. I felt this game in a way no other game has ever made me feel. When the game finally ended I was totally lost, angry and sad, I just couldn't decide if I had liked the game or hated. But a game that can make you feel all that horrible **** make you cry and feel heavy, a game that wanted to show this and wasThis IS NOT a game for everyone. Its a game that will divide people. I felt this game in a way no other game has ever made me feel. When the game finally ended I was totally lost, angry and sad, I just couldn't decide if I had liked the game or hated.     A experiência de mostrar o ponto de vista de um vilão e fazer o jogador se questionar quem está certo o mocinho ou o vilão, caso fosse uma IP nova, seria algo interessante de se ver, mas com personagens já adorados e consolidados foi um erro fatal, simplesmente descartar um personagem como o Joel de maneira torpe, com muitos furos no roteiro como ele dizendo seu nome e se encontrando comA experiência de mostrar o ponto de vista de um vilão e fazer o jogador se questionar quem está certo o mocinho ou o vilão, caso fosse uma IP nova, seria algo interessante de se ver, mas com personagens já adorados e consolidados foi um erro fatal, simplesmente descartar um personagem como o Joel de maneira torpe, com muitos furos no roteiro como ele dizendo seu nome e se encontrando com estranhos mesmo com 24 anos de experiência no mundo em que ele vive. Sem falar que obrigar o jogador a jogar com a vilã quando na realidade todos estavam com ódio dela e se matavam ou deixavam ela morrer várias vzs só para sentir um pingo de justiça, justiça essa que quando o jogador termina o jogo ele não sente, ele não se sente vingado, pois a vilã fica viva, e aí a critica vem e diz "e um jogo de ponto de vista" seria se não conhecêssemos os personagens, agora matar um personagem tão querido, só pra tentar fazer um jogo com essa proposta foi um grande tiro no pé, pois a relação construída no primeiro jogo do personagem com a outra personagem e com o jogador foi de se sentir parte da mesma família, e ver a morte de Joel foi como perder um ente querido, enfim, justiça não foi feita, e uma franquia toda foi arruinada pela tentativa de fazer algo diferente para tentar "lacrar" e ser o lançador de tendência quando na realidade todos fans da série só queriam uma continuação digna, e mesmo não sendo Uma história de amor, poderia ser de ódio, mas não do jeito que foi feito pois quiseram enfiar goela abaixo que a Abby era boa, e tinha suas razões, porém ninguém queria saber dela, todos queriam é ver ela morrer e se sentir vingado pela perda de um personagem tão querido, enfim, série arruinada, e marca Naughty Dog manchada para muitas pessoas que vão pensar muito antes de comprar outro jogo dela, credibilidade no lixo e jogadores indignados, isso é The Last Of Us 2!… Expand

    Plot twists that absolutely make no sense and out-of-character decisions. No amount of gameplay or graphics upgrade will save this game from these flaws. Don't waste your money on this.

    I hope Naughty Dog never ever makes another game. This game is a prime example of disaster. **** destroying a masterpiece of a game after working on it for **** seven years.

    Ellie throughout her journey she has experience nothing but loss and suffering. First you have Joel dying in the first two hours of the game, got her friend killed, and she lost her fingers which makes it so Ellie was unable to play guitar which is the closest thing she has to Joel

    Meanwhile, you have Abby being able to get away with everything without any consequences.

    In the first game, during the journey Ellie and Joel relationship gets deeper and deeper, but here in this game it's just a **** you Ellie journey.

    2/10 don't make another.    … Expand

    The real problem of this game is that the scenario and narrative are so bad it quickly makes your forget about the nice technical aspects.
    Waited years for a sequel with the 2 main protagonists, and I am forced to play half the game with a new one who has the charisma of a dump rag.

    Neil Druckmann destroyed a great story that had one of the GREATEST CHARACTERS of videogames, and then he excusses his ineptitude as a director and writer saying that everyone that does not like this game is being homophobic and bigots, 7 years of waiting to get this hot grabage

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
