    graphics are amazing but history is BAD. You are forced to play with a terrible person, pushing you to like her. The last of us did not deserve this sequel, so bad.

    Amazing game. A great follow up from the 1st game and I fully expect a trilogy. My only reason for not scoring higher is because the story maybe wont land with everyone as the first game did for the most part, however I couldn't fault it as much as some.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Im just deeply disappointed in this game, you can clearly see by all the trailers and how the game is scrambled up, especially towards the end, that this game wasnt supposed to look like this at all.

    They planned something completly different and ended up with this somehow, probably because they lost 70% of their employees and some idiot wanted to push his own ideas.

    joel wasnt meant to die that early, there was clearly a journey planned for both him and ellie, but they removed it, also abby wasnt supposed to look like that at all, if you watch the old trailers, she didnt have that kind of steroidblasted body, which doesnt even make sense for that kind of world by the way.

    ND took a huge risk with abby and completly failed, she is not likeable at all and they **** try so hard to make you like her.
    The game thinks the best time to tell Abbies backstory is when the game hits its climax, like what the ****

    I played the game. I, personally, didn't like it at all. I didn't have anything against the inclusion of the transgender characters (in fact, I support it!), but it seemed like it was very forced. (just to appease to the general public.) One of the most bothersome things I encountered was the jump mechanic -- it's really bad to control. Moving the focus away from the main characters isI played the game.     This game far exceeded my expectations. I kept waiting for the story to suck because so many people claim it does. But that never happened for me. Yes, it is very emotionally disorienting. But the fact that the game doesn't present a vanilla power-fantasy in which one gets to simply kill a bunch of baddies doesn't make the story bad.

    Great graphics and good soundtrack, that's everything what's good in this game.
    Story and characters are awful, zero depth.
    Game play is fine, i guess?
    And to think that fans waited 7 years for this disaster...

    Este juego es una obra de arte, tanto a nivel visual, narrativo, como jugable. Él problema ( aunque no debería ser un problema ) es que es demasiado atrevido y que la gente hoy en día lo quiere todo a su gusto, para sentirse satisfechos, pero este juego no quiere brindarnos eso, quiere ser duro y mostrarnos una de las experiencias más humanas desafortunadamente que hemos podido observar enEste juego es una obra de arte, tanto a nivel visual, narrativo, como jugable. Now, The graphics are amazing, gameplay is still pretty much the same and voice acting is very good, now for the truth. The game is an absolute mess story sucks, the leaks were true, you don't even get enough time to settle into the game until Joel gets taken out its because of that stupid decision the Devs made that really took me out of the game and made want to jump out of my window (I didn't.) But this game literally leads to nowhere. Abby lives because Ellie let's her go?! Really?! I'm glad I didn't buy the game and was able to switch it out for a better game.… Expand

    I stayed away from the spoilers, I just finished playing. I loved the first game. But it seems like ND was more worried about ticking all those politically correct boxes than delivering a great story. This game is trash. Don’t buy it.

    I don't know how a group of people can go from crafting an amazing story and characters in the first game and flush it all down the drain with the second game. This has noting to do with the hatred of a group of people, which I don't think was ever the issue, just terrible storytelling.     Los aspectos en cuanto a jugabilidad me parecieron de lo mejor, su sistema de combate/sigilo esta muy bien pulido y no me parece para nada decepcionante. La historia es lo que más puede decepcionar a los jugadores tal vez puedan conciderar que el primer juego dejo las expectativas muy altas pero para mí aunque no supera el primero sigue siendo un juego increíble.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As someone who didn't play the first TLOU but knows the story, I loved Part 2. A combination of good easy-to-learn gameplay controls, solid storytelling and beautiful graphics make for an enjoyable time. I can understand why many users have given negative feedback on the game, especially fans of Part 1. The main character from the original TLOU, Joel, who people fell in love with in the first installment gets killed off within the first few hours of Part 2. However, his death sets up the story line, changing it from a story of survival to a potential rampage for revenge for Ellie and her crew. Naughty Dog's decision to kill Joel isn't their way of writing him out of the storyline. It's their way of turning him into something bigger - a source of strength and courage the protagonists lean on while tackling the grueling and dangerous mission to seek revenge. Yes, the game starts off a bit slow. However, it speeds up quickly while allowing you ample time and opportunities to familiarize yourself with the game controls. Like all games, TLOU2 isn't without its own flaws. The combat sequences, especially when taking on more than one Infected can be improved with indicators of which direction enemies are attacking from. Another minor annoyance were some of the tasks required to unlocking doors, passageways, etc. Some of the "puzzles" were beyond frustrating to figure out, forcing me to put down the game for a bit to cool off before going back in - if Naughty Dog's intention was to irritate gamers by doing this, they succeeded with some of the required tasks. All in all, this game is worth the price of admission. It gives you the wheel to drive through an excellent movie-quality storyline, one that will grip you through intense moments all the way through the end. Part 1 was about love, Part 2's theme is revenge. Naughty Dog took a big risk in killing Joel, a bold move the audience should appreciate. They didn't play it safe, they made it clear everyone is fair game which adds another suspenseful layer. Accept this and you'll have a great time.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
