    The best graphics and soundtrack the PS4 has ever produced. The combat and traversal have improved from the original game but the story and plot have left me with the most disappointing video games I have ever played. The complete disregard for the characters we grew to love was shockingly frustrating.

    The game has the top level of graphics, motion capture, and not bad music. HOWEVER the story ruined everything. PLEASE DON'T MAKE FAKE REVIEWS

    Naughty dog managed to actually tarnish the good memories I had of part 1. Tragic. They couldn’t help themselves I guess... writing a terrible plot while pushing their identity politics nonsense. The disappointment is like a gut punch. The comparisons to The Last Jedi and GoT Season 8 are warranted. What a disaster for this franchise. It will never recover.

They’ve pandered to the vocal minority on social media and put it into a game and expect their main demographic to swallow their identity politics. Every single game reviewer who gave this a 10/10 should be sacked immediately for giving a false review. People bought this garbage based solely on the say so of IGN and gamespot reviews.… Expand

The main character of the first game on the front cover of the last of us 1. Dies in the first 2 hours. The gameplay feels repetitive and slow. All that to make way for a stupid revenge arc that doesn’t work. Ellie really lets Abby get away scotch-free. Also Joel would never trust anyone that easily. Seven years for this garbage. The death of Joel is too early and overwhelming. I tried to swallow playing with that **** but it seems that the developers just want to force propaganda on the players as the games focuses too much on sexual content. I don’t even care about the ending anymore. The graphics is great. 9/10
    The control is terrible. 4/10

    Biggest disrespect ever.
    There is only few good things about this game!
    Best graphics, music was great, characters act, and Joel and Ellie’s flashbacks! And that’s it!
    Other things are just terrible!
    Story was very poorly written.

    And forced to play as Abby was just worst! Omfg i just want this game was never exist.
    There is no ‘the last of us part 2’ for me

They kill of Joel in the most meaningless way possible. And then force you to play as his killer, a character they work hard to make you hate. I'll admit I stopped right there. That was enough for me. They did a great job of making me never want to play it again. First one is my favorite game ever too. Absolute garbage, don't give them your money.… Expand

    Worst game ever! I have never seen such a bad game. Uncharted 1 to 3 were good games. Uncharted 4 was okay but this is no good.

    this gamei is ass and is a blueprint of how communities such as BLM and the LGBTQ community are being used to get sales. Gameplay wise, nothing separates it from TLOU1. The story is ass, pacing is terrible, this **** is a very bad **** movie not a video game.

The writing for this game is trash. In fact, the old adage about if you put 1000 monkeys in a room with type writers eventually one will write a Shakespeare play statistically speaking. Great rope physics, story made me want to put them to good use, hated every second of the steaming pile of crap that naughty dog dropped on the TLOU series, didn’t really believe that sjw ideals mattered so much in a post apocalyptic world where death is around ever corner, would’ve thought survival would’ve taken priority but there we go. Oh, goodbye Joel, you died as a pointless plot device, GoT Season 8 writers would approve, 10/10, would burn my money again.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
