    I can't believe this abomination. The amount of hate that the director has toward the first game (can't call it part because this isn't part of anything) is unbelievable. I was astounded with all details put together just to show that. The biggest waste of time and money. Smh.

I feel that they made the main characters all female to support feminist movements and killed off Joel thinking it would inflict crazy emotions in us and make us sad instead it made everyone made and hate the game because we all loved playing as Joel in the original game. Joel would have never trusted a stranger he just met and they even kill his brother tommy like no way man.… Expand

    Story is the most important thing to me when it comes to games and that is the worst part of this game thus the low ranting. The animation and sound was good enough to deserve a the little I gave. Game play is basically the same as the first.

    They killed the franchise, still i can't believe what they've done.
    I've almost cryed for the frustation on the bad ending, on the disrespect for the characters, ruinning the best story of the past decade.
    Trating Joel like he was a little innocent kid, and killing him in one of the worst deaths ever on any videogame. the story is fuc*ing s**** and isn't TLOU.
    Forzing the player to empatize with Abby and then forcing to kill Ellie, this is not right, and is unnacceptable
    The gameplay was very good anyway, the new mechanics added fine to the game. we got more exploration zones, some kinda very easy puzzles, and big scenaries. However was a little bit repetitive fighting against humans, or undeads, again and again

    Conclusion: Don't waste 60 euros on this, please...

    The game was an absolute disappointment. The developers did a terrible job. The story was lackluster and forced politics onto its users. Even without that notion, the story was empty and downright tonedeaf of its fanbase. Would not buy, do not waste your money or listen to the lying game journalists

I loved the father and daughter bound between Joel and Ellie in the first game just as the bound between Lee and Clementine from the Walking Dead of Telltales. You can't just destroy a hero like that and force the fans to play complete stranger who brutally murdered that father figure in a most gruesome way. I cried when Lee Everett died in Walking Dead but the difference is he didn't just die for nothing, he died in peace feeling proud of Clementine and he had his peace with the death. But Joel got killed horribly right in front of Ellie and the spitting on the body of Joel right after his graphic killing is the most despicable insult one can make to fan base. I am done with Naughty Dog games.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
