    I basically forced myself to play this game, so that I could form an honest opinion about this game.......Horrible. Great way to ruin a game. The story is a disappointment . Waste of money.

    It's a shame how you turn this game into a tool of propaganda. Your game is good only for critics ,not players .There is weak,boring ,uninteresting and garbage storyline full of propaganda.
    Only graphics are good , but certainly not the best.
    This game is such a waste of time.

    Waste of money. Honestly can't believe the games journos and critics have scored this game so high. They are bought and paid for! Naughty dog are pathetic, they really made a mess of the last of us 2. The story and characters are poor. its really a kick in the teeth for fans of the first game. Truly disappointing.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really enjoyed the bond between Joel and Ellie in the first game and the ending was great, this game really angered and disappointed me since Joel just turns into a minor character and gets killed by Abby.
    Naughty Dog could have made the story more interesting since they had potential but they just ruined what made the first game amazing in the first place. And Ellie doesn't even kill Abby, like what?
    Abby's father, the surgeon was just one of the dozens of NPC's you killed in the first game, so unimportant they even got his skin tone wrong. Real bad writing Neil. The critic reviews are terrible btw.    … Expand

    They ruined the franchise! How can you mess up a story so bad?!? The only thing that would have made a game like this stand out is it's story, it's gameplay being quite generic and linear at best. I feel like they just spit on the legacy of the first game, which was a masterpiece!

    Didn't sleep for a day and clocked it. This game is a single player game of Dead by Daylight where you only play the killer and can sneak. It's boring. The writer's must have phoned it in because it's ultra gore yet politically correct, lesbians, Asian dude. S... I'm an Asian dude and my best friends gay and even he was like this looks like crap. The guy who couldn't be ambushed and killed literally hundreds of people who then just walks unarmed into a group of random people he's never met sneaking around outside his town who are armed to the teeth... Well, you were too stupid to have a gun on you and kill even one of them. From there on in it literally is just a downhill slide into why am I playing this? I don't have a connection to any of these characters.

    I'm sure some people will enjoy it but for me it was just a rehash of the first game with no enjoyable elements. And holy crap... There must be 10x as much useless wondering and spastic navigation 'puzzles' my r-tarded One eyed pug could solve than Dragonball z and Naruto and one piece EPs combined. I've never watched any of those but I hear it's a lot.
    The game didn't make me angry because I hate lesbians, vengeance, gore, busy work or grinding achievements. It's just a **** game. Enjoy my money but part 3 is going to have to wait for me to pick it up on sale 3 years after release. Second hand. From a pawn shop. For $10. Sorry not doing that again.    … Expand

    What a horrible game. They had such a great story to work with but completely ruined anything to do with this game. Visual/Sound looks stunning but whoever created the story needs to be fired.

    Thoroughly disappointed with the story. The IGN Japan got it right "uninteresting new characters burden the story, making Ellie's journey feel conventional and not nearly as captivating as the original."

    I thought I would regret missing out on it, so I bought it. I regret buying it.
    The plot is filled with strange, borderline insane **** of violence. The camera loves to linger on characters being mutilated and killed while the author(s) try to shame you for what "you" did (there are no choices.)     Although the playability is very good, the plot is too difficult. It also destroys the story and ending of part1. And it has a feeling of reaction.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
