    I don't know where to start with why this game is so absolutely awful, but I think it's fair to say that it begins and ends with Druckmann, and Naughty Dog's, goal of pushing a liberal narrative and "sticking it" to the gamers, rather than putting together a cohesive story that followed the established character psyche from the first game.

    GAMEPLAY: 6,5/10. mediocre at best, it is the same as it was 7 years ago, 0 inovations, the "jump button" it s a joke it feels like Quick Time event, pointles VISUALS: 8/10, standard triple A game for 2020., we excepted nothing less
    FINAL SCORE: 1/10, despite decent visuals and ok gameplay you will play this game untl the end just because you have paid for it, the story ruins the entire experience and it really is very difficult to finish this game beacuse of the absolute **** that happens in the storyline... Basically you are forced to play as the killer of Joel and not only that but in a large portion of the game you even have to fight Ellie... Incredible.... and in the end Ellie does not get revenge because "revenge is bad" narrative.... disgusting    … Expand

    I really loved the game
    But nevertheless it’s a controversial game and it all boils down to how you can relate to the characters if you do it will be one of the best games you have ever played if not you will probably hate it a lot.

Hi everyone, I am a big fan of the TLOU Pt1 it’s one of the most emotional games I’ve ever played and I was really excited to see the 2nd part, the beginning of it was ok, but after Joel’s death it became too difficult to play it, it’s like you got hit or slap in a face, I felt emptiness and sadness during whole game.... 2nd part ruined all positive and warm feelings about Joel’s and Ellie’s relationship, there are too much misunderstandings from Ellie...it’s horrible...how they could do that to him...after all this years of waiting...what they were thinking about???...what the hell?!?!...I just want to forget this piece of crap!!!
    If 1st part of this game means something to you and it’s not just ordinary game for you - don’t waste your time, money and impressions.    … Expand

    Terrible company with horrible practices. Game took a dive for the worse - the lead developer basically self inserted himself having sex with another mocap lead character watch this review get removed because it's a "reviewbomb".

    I played Tlou on ps3 and I bought ps4 only for Tlou2. I am not disappointed. I like the story line, amazing dialogues and music, the details are at a very high level, the best gameplay system in the world. I love everything in this game. Just like in the first part I waiting for multiplayer mode, I hope it will be soon.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I feel like I'm the only person that genuinely loved this game, it's not a PERFECT game but it is damn good. The main issue with this game is obvious to anybody who's played this, it's Abby, sure I hated her at first, but after understanding her I didn't mind her by the end. And the ending, which most people despised, was very poetic in my opinion, Ellie at that moment realized that she needed to break the cycle that she, Joel, & Abby have been in since the end of the last of us. also the graphics & the gameplay is some of the best i've ever seen ever. So overall, The Last Of Us Part II is not as good as The Last Of Us, but it's honestly kind of close. And I do understand all the criticism the game's been getting lately, but in all honesty, I haven't really changed my mind after hearing.… Expand

    I think the story is realistic enough given the post-apocalyptic setting but why forcing Ellie to forgive Abby after building up the promoted Hate scene by killing hundred of people before reaching Abby? At least give player a choice! Abby doesn't deserve to be spared just because she is an evil person who didn't get moved even a bit by the foe (Joel) who just saved her life. Joel didn'tI think the story is realistic enough given the post-apocalyptic setting but why forcing Ellie to forgive Abby after building up the promoted Hate scene by killing hundred of people before reaching Abby?     Отличная графика, васхитительная анимация, гемплей перещел на новый уровень, можно ползать прыгать, укланятся использовать веревку. Играется очень бодро, проработанность мира действительно поражает, дизайнеры актеры и аниматоры, мое почтение! Сюжет неодназначен и заставляет задуматься, персанажи действительно живые и им хочется сопереживать тяжело четко для себя решить кто хороший а ктоОтличная графика, васхитительная анимация, гемплей перещел на новый уровень, можно ползать прыгать, укланятся использовать веревку. Играется очень бодро, проработанность мира действительно поражает, дизайнеры актеры и аниматоры, мое почтение! Сюжет неодназначен и заставляет задуматься, персанажи действительно живые и им хочется сопереживать тяжело четко для себя решить кто хороший а кто плохой в этой игре, границы размыты у всех своя мотивация, и каждый сам выбирает для себя героя который ему ближе. Я посмотрел много обзоров данной игры после ее прохождения и могу сказать что с большенством из них я не согласен, так как критикуют вообще все гемплей, проработку персанажей и так далее, но это даже близко не так все эти вещи сделаны на самом высоком уровне. Особо порадовала время загрузки игры после смерти ГГ, оно очень короткое и это очень круто, так как в некоторые игры просто нет желания играть из за долгих загрузок. Игра сделана в плане оптимизации очень и очень качественно, но еще бы эт оведь Naughty Dog… Expand

The only good thing about the game is the flashbacks. The ai is dumb even in hard difficulty. The visuals and set pieces are amazing but the story is so bad that it hurts. Neil Druckmann just spit on Joel, the series and the entire fanbase. The most generic revenge story with out the mc getting revenge in the end lmao. There shouldn't have been a sequel in the first place. Don't waste your money on this.… Expand

    Good graphics, facial expression, combat animations and soundtrack, but all of this doesn’t replace the awful and badly written storyline plus the whole plot of the game. I can’t express how bad the story is compared to the first one. A lot of pushed SJW and LGBTQ.. agenda that’s been forced into our throats. 7 years to make a joke of a game like this.

Ellie is little washed out of charisma, as all of the characters, transition to second playable is awfull, all the more that is's even more personality flat. Generic , similar sayings don't help at that point. Poor dialogs as written by ND. Scenario is classic exemple of how not to do it, they"ve been eaten by ambitons maybye. BUT, i dontOk, for me this game isn't 10/10 neither 1/10. BUT, i dont think the is SOOO MUCH LGBT propaganda as people are saying, also the ending coud be worst . The most annoying aspect of gameplay was dumb NPC walking into youre position, little bugs especially in second part, maybye skill advancement tree coul'd be better .
    After that we've got sweetest possible graphics, abandoned buildings are new main character for me. Cool melee violence, finishers, most realistic blood pools ever ;) Couple of amazing sequences, few minibosses and one resident evil like big one which remains in memory. More open areas slots well onto fresher combat aproach. Loading times and technical part of the game also deserves an aplause. Overall gameplay is immersive.
    Soon i'll start NG+ with moore stealth aproach, im curious, does boredom of walking/talking parts will push me off...
    First game was special... this one is just a good game ;)

    I never review anything normally, but this is ridiculous. The amount of people that are giving very low ratings to an amazing game is astonishing. It's all for what? You didn't like the story? You don't like the game director? People seem to have forgotten how few games like this exist nowadays. Taking it for granted is one of the stupidest things possible in this time. It's disgusting how many people can hop on board a hate train without playing it for themselves. You think you look through a couple hours of gameplay and a spoiler with leaks and it makes it okay to rate something an entire 0 out of 10? The game had over 20+ hours of content. That's insane for a singleplayer game. Not only was it packed with content, it wasn't filled with something people are considering un-enjoyable. The issue here is people are reviewing a single character you really wanted to play as and it didn't happen. That doesn't make a game terrible. Is that so hard to understand? This game had everything that makes a game amazing. Good graphics and animations, no bugs, good characters, good story, and good content. Yeah I said good story. It was a good story. I played the game. It wasn't remotely equivalent to what some people are saying: "It's like GOT S8, or Star Wars" no it's not. Not at all. Game of Thrones had a fundamental issue. It developed characters through 8 seasons and threw out all of the character arcs. That didn't happen here. Characters did something bad and there were consequences. It didn't JUMP at us. It was gradual and well developed. Good job devs.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
