    In a world where 'critics' are obviously paid actors it takes the customers to take up the mantle of critics and do harsh judgement.

    Good things upfront, it features some minor improvements to the gameplay of the first installment, it has the best 'game journalist' difficulty mode, so that I don't even doubt that aforementioned professional 'critics' got through the game in a breeze. Aside from that it looks good graphically but that shouldn't be a surprise.

    Tlou2 is one of those sequels that miss their previously established target audience by a long shot. (Think of Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts) While not as much gameplay wise even more-so in terms of story and character development. The story follows a very clear and easy to understand narrative from the get go, that just like fans of the first tlou gets screwed over in the end.    … Expand

    I understand that this story is not to please everyone, as risky decisions are made. Anyway, those who say it is bad, have no idea. Wanting the protagonist to always die like a hero confirms that people expect every story to end like Disney or Marvel movies. Realistic narrative is very little valued in this community.

Perhaps for the haters the ending was too complex to understand, things did not go as they wanted and they stick to every little thing to evaluate 0/4/3/1 .... embarrassing evaluations and not to be taken into consideration. If my English is incorrect, it's because I'm not English.
    You have to try the game. You can explore and see things that don't appear on gameplay videos if one doesn't explore. I've played twice already and I never get tired. even in fights there are so many possibilities. and the plot is simple sad raw but true. The ending is something spectacular if you think about it. Haters cry because the stark reality of how life really is. Abby ... people don't understand that on the other side there are people with whom you can empathize even though they did what they did ... because they had a reason. There is too much to say to dismantle the haters but not being able to express myself better because I cannot speak English well I stop here. look for foreign reviews and translate it is worth it.    … Expand

The part where you played Abby was a little bit boring to me because i couldn’t sympathize with her, nevertheless this was a pretty solid part of the game. The story is in my opinion great but I was not amused by 1-2 choices in the game.
    The cutscenes are great as well the voice acting.

The first part with Elli to the cinema where Abby came was a 10 out of 10 After that the Part with Abby wasnt relevant to the story. Nevertheless, the game was nice from the graphics and the atmosphere was also generated very well . I would be Happy when a third Part comes in the Future.     This game is even better than the last. The mechanics of game play are awesome, the upgraded crafted is great. There are so many new tools at your disposal I love it. The character development with Joel and Ellie is heart wrenching all the way through and the twists are killer. To the people saying that this game is pushing a politics agenda... wtf? The hole game you see uninteresting characters, unrealistic relationships and a bag of propaganda. No more normal human and no more common sense of live. Just trash, trends and hype. Like with all the back story you gave abby I could of forgiven it if she had just shot Joel dead but she beats him to death slowly .... if someone you love was beaten to death slow would you sympathise with the murderer too? And your like hey your bad for wanting revenge and then dont even give the player the agency to choose to kill abby in the end or not.     Wow... This game has already been reviewed almost 50,000 times. Compare that to the recent Final Fantasy 7 remake, which is as big if not a bigger game at just over 4,000 reviews. This game is being flooded by people who hate diversity and representation. It is simply mob mentality and fabricated outrage. The main character you loved playing as in the first game gets killed without an ounce of honor by a golf bat to the face and then spat on by a self insert of the plotwriter in the first two hours of gameplay. Then you get to play as the man looking woman murderer of your main character for more than few hours and have some dry sex with the self insert of the plotwriter. LGBT ain't the problem in this game, it's just **** storywriting and paid critic reviews.… Expand

The story aside, the game is a technical masterpiece, best graphics of this console generation, innovative options and features,No spoiler review. The story for this game is NOT as bad as people are saying, it is a GOOD story. The beauty of this story however is in the telling, NaughtyDog takes you on crazy journey, whether you agree with the narrative choices or not it's a wild ride.     I will say I understand many of the points people are making regarding the story however not with the critic scores they are giving due to those points. Not agreeing with the story doesnt mean it's a bad story, the story is objectively well written and perfectly executed. It makes you feel intense emotion and a bad story cant do that.

    WTF have I just witnessed. 10s across the board. On graphics wise it's atheistically beautiful with landscapes and terrain but on story and where it all counts this is daylight robbery for customers and a smack in the face to fans.

    IGN and other people should be ashamed. Name calling fans into buying the game. They are companies that offer nothing but terminological inexactatudes.

    They ruined the saga by producing characters without charisma and forcing you to play with characters that it is impossible to empathize with, and if I only wanted to kill zombies and armed people I would play the damn call of duty black ops.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
