    Very bland , very linear , combat/gameplay seems worse , ai definetly not improved. Story makes no sense , characters act facepalm.

    Only + graphic upgrade and visuals.

    Totally abandons everything that made the first game a masterpiece - Joel is an idiot now? WTF - and shoehorns in a ludicrous amount of political propaganda that basically no one but overeducated elites is interested in anyway. Stop making games for people that don't play them and get back to caring about actual gamers.

    So, even with all the pros this game is really really bad. It makes NO sense that Ellie act how she acts in certain parts of the game but that isnt even the biggest thing about why its bad.
    The reason is: character development. If you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE    really bad, too bad

    The reason is: character development.
    If you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE to bring WAY more backstory in order to make the player feel with her.
    I mean she KILLED Joel!
    How do you make the player like her? Bring more and more backstory before she does that. Let the players play 2-10h as Abby when she was a child or whatever. The backstory of her is basically told in 10minutes and then her dad is being killed. Thats it? And now I have to feel with her and understand why she killed Joel?
    Hell no!
    That is weak story telling. Really really weak.

    I wanted to like this game. I saw the critics reviews and thought it would be amazing. It is terrible. The story was designed to displease you, and video games are supposed to be pleasing. It is packed with PC SJW content that feels shoved in your face rather than placed in a meaningful way. The game is repetitive and tedious. I never thought I’d be giving this low of a score but I thinkI wanted to like this game. I saw the critics reviews and thought it would be amazing. It is terrible.     tl;dr: just watch some vod or gameplay/commentary on twitch, don't waste your money on a fresh copy. you'll find millions of free secondhands that people want to throw away upon finishing this game, I guarantee you (I'm selling my hard copy for $0.99 right now, and that's the price for plastic dvd case, nothing more).

    -seattle truck simulator for 10hrs & "white men bad" for 10hrs
    -shallow, unlikable characters
    -unjustified story lines and detours/subplots
    -hitting you on the head with "revenge bad" message every second
    -putting unbelievable motives behind main characters' decisions
    -uncomfortable/cringy romance scenes

Para empezar a huevo te quieren meter la inclusion, seguido de eso matan a joel de una forma sin sentido, nos dan el control del personaje que lo mato solo para que sintamos algo de empatia, una empatia forzada; despues de la muerte de joel la trama del juego se centra en buscar vengaza en contra de abby (algo similar con mafia 3), ellie mata un chingo de personajes lo cual no va a servir para nada, la batalla final es más quicktime event que parte jugable y al final ellie despues de matar a varios de maneras sangrientas y cosas asi decide perdonar a abby, sinceramente es una historia que dejo mucho a deber y en un juego debe haber un equilibrio entre buena jugabilidad e historia, cosa que no cumple en la parte de la historia, ya que a huevo trata de ser inclusiva, de ahi el descontento y meter cosas progre, a ellie la cuckean y meten algo similar a lo de la adopcion por parte de dos parejas del mismo sexo… Expand

    Can we stop shoehorning political wet dreams into everything already? As someone who grew up in an extremely diverse community, this doesn’t even remotely reflect a believable reality. It’s what a rich person living in an only superficially diverse elite enclave thinks a diverse reality looks like. Impossible to get into this game.

It is also such a shame that defenders of the game (for whatever reason) use "attacks of diversity of LGBT" to label players who are genuinely, simply disappointed by the story itself, not anything else.
    This is by no means a 0 point game, because of its beautiful graphic rendering.    There are many reasons to dislike this sequel, as many other reviews have demonstrated very clearly. It is also such a shame that defenders of the game (for whatever reason) use "attacks of diversity of LGBT" to label players who are genuinely, simply disappointed by the story itself, not anything else.
    This is by no means a 0 point game, because of its beautiful graphic rendering. However, this is for sure not a 10/10 game either as its predecessor. The Last Of Us ended perfectly and that's the way it should stay and be remembered. This piece of utter garbage won't ruin The Last of Us for me and it shouldn't ruin the experience for anyone else either. It simply does not exist. It's bad writing, just a bad fanfiction. The advice I'm trying to give here is: don't feel bad if you're feeling like a bad fan for not liking it. Ellie and Joel won't have this kind of conclusion to their story, not after everything they've been through. I just know Joel and Ellie are somewhere at Jackson right now, being happy and playing guitar with not a care in the world, not worrying about the past, because they've got nothing to regret after all.… Expand

    Neil druckman self confessed "character abuser" isn't happy simply abusing existing characters he feels the need to kill the fan favourites off, create a trans character and then literally Eff her in the A.

    Avoid at all costs, looks amazing but the game play is average at best and terrible, terrible characters with ridiculous story and plotholes

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
