    The soundtrack and the graphics are very good, the gameplay is the same as the first game, generic and repetitive, and the story is the point that killed the game, simply a shame in relation to the first game that has the perfect story.

    After great and one of the best game ever TLOU I was waiting inpatient for part two and this is worst game ever made for playstation . Graphics 9/10 , story and gameplay 0/10

    This game was really disappointing in so many ways that the max 5000 letters would'nt even begin to describe it. Nothing felt genuine. The 1 point was only because the graphics were good, but the story didnt feel genuine. This was my favorite game of all time, but after this disappointment - i guess i'll have to find a new one now.

    But this game, oh boy.
    I absolutely loved first game, it was one of best games I ever played. And I played a lot.
    And second is also fantastic but only from technical aspect. Graphics, gameplay, weapons, physics are fantastic.
    But story is such crap I can't believe it. It's nothing more then advancing LGBT agenda. They used one of the most popular games to promote LGBT, transgender characters etc. It seems like it was written by bunch of male haters. Killing Joel, common? One of the most loved characters ever?
    But ok, I could live with that but then game forced you to play with person who killed him. For half of the game!? WTF? I was really disgusted with that concept. And in the end, when you finally have chance to kill that disgusting character game writers are letting her go?! Really?! **** really!? They even don't leave choice in killing her or let her go, just one, disappointing end.
    I have advice for all who loved first game, when you come to part where Abby comes to theater save your progress manually. And then leave Ellie to kill Abby over and over again. It was most enjoyable moment in whole game. You can finish it later but trust me, save that spot. The game wouldn't end the way you like it.
    This LGBT trend started long ago with movies and series but they leaved games out of it.
    Unfortunately, now they go to game turfs also. It started with that Uncharted expansion The lost legacy, that was so, so, but in this game it's clear what they wanted. Male heroes gone and introducing female characters and LGBT agenda. Nothing more.
    Disgusting trend.
    I would think again when I would buy another Naughty dog game again.
    So much for me and please, don't forget to save game on that theater spot so you can enjoy in killing Abby, no need to thank me.    … Expand

    I'll be honest now, first 20 minutes (or however long it took until something happened, but i'm not gonna spoil) and then it was just ruined till the end. Nothing saved it for me.

    I can't believe that they did, what they did with this game. Disgusting and disrespectful to all their previous fans on every level possible. I will never support this company again. I don't even care if they make last of us part 3, because there's literally nothing left. Everything that mattered is dead and gone. Awful.

    Worst game I've ever played in my life. If you weren't a fan of this game or haven't played the first , you'd enjoy it a bit more, but would still hate the game due to its objectively terrible story and barely upgraded new combat mechanics.

    This game is the worst thing that could happen to videogames !!! its sales are due to the great expectation that it left us for the first delivery. You have to remind Duckman that video games are made to please users.

    As always: many thanks for team that work on video graphics part of the game, you are the best! For those who invent subject of the story - burn in hell. It is disappointment of the year. No hypocritical "critics reviews" will save that rubbish.    Worst conception for game ever.

    Honestly I don’t know how this game has such good reviews. I LOVED the first one. So much that I beat it several times, and currently still play the online Factions mode. Which is the first disappointment in this game, because it doesn’t offer an online mode. Game play is tough. You’re constantly running into enemies whether they’re human or infected and it is IMPOSSIBLE to be stealthy.Honestly I don’t know how this game has such good reviews. I LOVED the first one. So much that I beat it several times, and currently still play the online Factions mode. Which is the first disappointment in this game, because it doesn’t offer an online mode. Game play is tough. You’re constantly running into enemies whether they’re human or infected and it is IMPOSSIBLE to be stealthy. Especially when it comes to humans. There’s always tons of them spread out and patrolling. It always seems like they some how gravitate towards anywhere you go, which results in you getting caught. The sway in your weapons is ridiculous, even with the upgrades. Most of the time I had to run to the next point because I kept dying and never had enough bullets. Any point you have to get past enemies is extremely tough, making the game almost unenjoyable to play. The plot of the story is dumb and there is no closure in the end, you’re left with a cliffhanger basically. Which leaves room for a third game (doubtful to happen) or DLC which hopefully will happen because I am so disappointed with the ending. What I loved about the first one is the heartfelt moments and there’s none of that in this one. It’s all about revenge.
    Also, the first game was straightforward and this one is kind of all over the place. One example being it make you play some flashbacks that you really could have done without, or could have easily been a cutscene instead. It really makes me sad because I’ve been looking forward to this since the first one and I’m just disappointed. Don’t waste your money on buying it, watch someone on YouTube play it instead.    … Expand

    I'm not exactly happy with all the nominees on game of the year list, but these awards don't really mean anything. So many better games get less attention. For example Jedi Fallen Order got only 1 nomination? Makes no sense. And absolute trash like last of us 2 got many nominations, so it's obvious these awards mean nothing. Last of us 2 can win 2 billion awards, but most people willI'm not exactly happy with all the nominees on game of the year list, but these awards don't really mean anything.     Totally disappointing.. It is like a experiment for bring all what is not necessary for enjoy a good videogame and focus in gross details ... Nothing to do with the first game and also dont feel like a secuel .. If you have good memories of part one .. Avoid this one ..

    I have been playing 100s of games over 10 years and i can say without any problem that Last of Us Part 2 is one of the worst games i have played. Literally one of the worst. Mechanically? Everything works fine. Graphics? Solid as well. Story? Absolutely disgusting trash.     Without a doubt the worst story I have ever played. It's about the equivalent of a robber taking everything I have then burning down my house. Then, when I confront him I am told everything I had was donated to charity and that I should praise him for such a noble act.

The story is poorly wrote and it's filled with nonsense or useless plot twists that demands an endless killing that doesn't get you anywhere. Ellie's lesbian relationship adds nothing to the game's story, they surely could make it better. The game has such an emotional/sexual/violence appeal just to categorize it as Mature +17 and these events could be easily removed from the story and wouldn't change anything at all...
    Summaring my review:
    This game is poop and an useless sequence from the first game.... but It had such potential though.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
