    The graphics of this generation are great, but that’s as far as it goes. I thought games were for people to enjoy and burn off steam and forget about life for a while. Neil claims to not want to offend certain groups of people, but then puts brutal killing and profanity and a sex scene in a game.     The game has very nice graphics, but it is not the best, some bugs at certain points in the game, the gameplay of the characters is wonderful and far superior to the first game.

    Скучнейший и затянутый сюжет, особенно вторая половина игры. Геймплей ничего особенного из себя не представляет и из-за затянутости игры начинаешь быстро от него уставать. ИИ туповат, даже на высоком уровне сложности. Единственное, за что можно похвалить - графика и проработка локаций. Игра безумно красивая, тут разрабы выложились по полной, да.     Dismiss the negative reviews. For those who don't know, there has been a ton of controversy for TLOU2 having things like LGBTQ acceptance (which is a big no-no I guess?) and having realistic proportions for their characters (usually these people like immersion, but I guess not now that immersion means their fantasy girl is more athletic than their fat ass). These idiots just can't shutDismiss the negative reviews. They simply cannot fathom having a main character be something other than what they are: a boring guy with no personality and no motivation. It is simply disgusting to think that, at the point of me writing this, 6000 people were so affronted at the idea of diversity and acceptance for their fellow man that they felt the need to review bomb a masterful game. To the close-minded people who are also about to give a bad review for no reason other than "politics": I have a message for you. Go **** yourself. Go stick a lego up your microdick's urethra as you bawl your eyes out because your tiny mind cannot fathom diversity. Go back to your little basement and hop on **** Keep your hate on that **** useless website and stay there. Either learn to accept others or stay in your ad-hoc incel bunker for the rest of your life. I'm sure me and many others hope that you are able to choose the first option, but know that our expectations are so low for people like you that if you chose the second option we wouldn't even bat an eye. 9/10 game, 0/10 fanbase.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. la verdad le bajo 5 puntos porque lo de joel es verdad que fue un poquito shock pero se hubiese esperado algo mas digno del personaje, otros 5 puntos porque la parte de Abby me parecio un poco relleno, lo hubiese hecho mas corto, ya que te lo quieren meter a la fuerza como alguien bueno, el final la escena con joel me gusto mucho cuando ellie dice que no sabe si podria perdonarlo, tienes sus contras en historia y sus altos, pero no hay que dudar que es un juego al fin y al cabo, Te extrañaremos Joel y Ellie… Expand

    I really like this game, but it's not perfect, I think in the last of us 1 is better compared to 2, but in the last of us, part 2 is better in some aspects like surreal graphics, gameplay, options, combat, artificial intelligence improved in a fantastic way and because we have a vision of Ellie's gradual maturation

    I've not played the first one but still for me It was a great experience of playing this game, I didn't finish it yet, it will take some time but I freaking love it, 9/10

    Doesn't matter how good something looks or sounds if the writing is trash, and ohhhhh boy is it bad. I can't remember the last time I saw a sequel drop the ball this bad.

    It's like Naughty Dog spent all their time on the game play, graphic engine (which is stunningly beautiful) and audio; and then just outsourced the story writing to some third tier hack. It isn't intelligent, it isn't fun or endearing.

    I just don't know who they made this game for. I'm just depressed, if I didn't get the digital edition I would be getting a refund.    … Expand

Just because they are brave and admirable however, does mean they are good. TLOU breaks down the depth and resources of the actors and characters and turns them into 2 dimensional figures and they are, the saddest thing for any high calibre art, predictive. Once my expectations were "subverted", the rest of the game fell neatly into place, it was a dark, bleak and non redeeming mess. The writing staff and ND must have such a low opinion of it's player base that they feel this game is a necessary commentary on vengeance. It is not. There were themes of forgiveness, and the ending reinforced them, however they were drowned out by the loss of credible characters and the needless vengeance plot that i had to think very hard that they were there. If you loved the characters and story of TLOU 1, don't buy this game, some stories don't need conclusions.    … Expand

    I like rage and grief in some games, but TLoU part 2 can actually affect your psychological health.

    I gave this high score because i think there´s no limit for escapism in entertaiment, and if you want to experiment how is to be a quite violent person, that´s where this game really shines. I can´t really blame a totally change in direction if that is what the creators wanted, but i can do is just boot up a colorful and warm japanese game and see happy characters again.    … Expand

    Pay no attention to idiots review bombing this game. None of them have played it. Their opinion is from YouTube videos that also know next to nothing about this game. The story is as good as the original game and if you liked that then you'll like this one. Only a single plot point from the leaks was accurate everything else is false

    Un juego sobresaliente que distingue lo real de la ficcion .Y por suerte te hace sentir como una persona real que tomaes decisiones como lo errores de los humanos que por instinto toma y por ende tiende a atenderse a las consecuencias . Un juego excelente y satisfactorio.

    To keep it short i will just write some of the things that i didn't like at all.

    I didn't like the forced brutal moments of the game that where there just for the sake of having something shocking. I felt like that they exchanged characters value for the shocking moments. There were also some really awkward unnecessary private moments that cheapened the characters value even further.

    I didn't like that unlike the previous game, the drama is way too artificial. The characters just weren't convincing enough, both in writing and voice acting.
    Same with the story of the game. I was expecting to see a lot of moments with our beloved characters from the previous game, now that they have grown wiser with the time, unfortunately that wasn't the case (I can't expand more on this without spoiling things).

    About the sound i will say the soundtrack is not memorable but passable. Voice acting felt a little dry but that may have been due to the script being so stiff and artificial.

    As far as gameplay goes, it wasn't anything revolutionary or new, i will just say it did the job. i just wish there were fewer QTEs, in any case this is a story driven game, and that's where the game didn't deliver.    … Expand

I don't care about the sexuality of the characters or the gender but use your agenda and your propaganda to destroy a good story is extreme and completely stupid... how about the cure and the infected? They somehow forgot about that part of the story. More than 10 hours of cutscenes and just 15 of real gameplay, next time make a movie or a serie instead. And just to clarify, I'm not homophobic or agree with any kind of discrimination. Sony, Naughty Dog stop with the hypocrisy.… Expand

Good story (even though I agree with critics that 1 was slightly better), small gameplay improvements since the 1 but kept really simple (which I like). The addition of the dodge mechanic is fairly fun but can become quite repetitive. The real issue with this game is the narrative. ND tried to take an interesting route with TLOU2, but it just fell very flat with a thud for me. Je trouve le gameplay assez satisfaisant (pour les gens qui le trouve trop simpliste je vous conseille d’y jouer en difficile ou survivant et ce sera une toute autre histoire) Pour ce qui est du côté narratif du jeu, il y a rien a dire, j’ai jamais ressenti des émotions aussi forte dans un jeu et je pense pas revivre uneTres bon jeu, il s’est amélioré en tout point par rapport au 1er.     Like Liana K said, Last of Us 2 feels like mud wrestling - vapid entertainment involving two angry women in the midst of all the mess and violence (I'm paraphrasing here).

    Stuff involving Joel and Ellie were good though, and Lev is an interesting character whose back story is woefully neglected... It shows how Naughty Dog missed, or rather messed their chance.

Not only did they try to force some ‘what did you learn from this’ kinda point with the whole abby story, they completely betrayed who some of the characters were or had to begun to by the end of the last game. Joel came off as a complete idiot, how can one guy go from the hardest survivor around to a incompetent trusting doof in five years? Also ellie is all over the place emotionally in this, in the end she gives up everything for nothing. 0/10… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
