    This game is great! The story isn't bad. The Characters are beautiful and the world design is insane.

    This game has amazing graphics, great story telling, great acting, suspense and I always tell how good a game is when it gives me goosebumps and this game did it on several occasions. I have been honest and given it a 9 as the controls are pretty much exactly the same as before so a bit of variance would have been nice.     Fantastic game, most clearly do not understand the nuance and depth with real human emotion put into this game. Nowadays people just want what they want and when expectations aren’t met they get upset. I had no expectations going into this game, just confidence in Naughty Dog as one of gamings finest developers to make yet again another fantastic game and surprise they did it. People want a hollywoodized, climactic “take” if you will on certain events I won’t spoil here but that’s not reality, reality is messy, dirty, brutal and disgusting but can also be beautiful and full of love and compassion. This game delves into so many philosophically rich subjects and debates it’s incredible. But clearly most just wanted a popcorn yay action scene explosions yay Snyder Cut game. Don’t listen to all of the naysayers, make and form you’re own opinion. This game is what art is all about ladies and gentlemen.… Expand

Да, Джоэля жаль, но если прикинуть сколько он убил невинных - его просто постигло возмездие... мне этот персонаж также нравился... Все хейтеры идите играйте в колофдюти, доку и кс... прежде, чем кукарекать, купите игру и пройдите сами, а не поддавайтесь всеобщему дибилизму... как можно оценивать игру ставя "0" (zero), если даже Вам сюжет не зашел, а как же графическая составляющая и все остальное? лицемеры... из-за таких оценок Вам будут клепать игры по типу ассасина с кучей гринда за 3 копейки и закидают лутбоксами и Вы все это пережуете и проглотнете и попросите добавки...… Expand

    This game is 8.8/10 for me but i'm giving it a 10 to balance the score a little bit, because lots of people are here just for the meme and giving the game 0 or 1 (without even playing the game first) which this game is NOT!!!     I think it lacks humanity from it's predecessor, but I also think that was their goal with this one.
    Either way, anyone with no agenda in mind shouldn't be be disappointed with end results, because compared to some other AAA games this is still well above average. Some players are mad/sad that game didn't took the rout they were expecting and that's ok. But there is also large group of people who didn't even play the game and maybe didn't play the first one either but they are mad because story didn't fit their political narrative, which tells more about them as a persons rather than how great, good or bad this game is.
    Gameplay will be familiar to everyone who experienced ND games before. Only real problem that I had is, that I couldn't change L1 and R1 with L2 and R2 to aim and shoot. It was saying that i have one button unbound which, after I scroll all the buttons wasn't the case, so it didn't let me progress with that button layout. Still not sure is this a bug or I was doing something wrong. If it's a bug I hope they fix it before multiplayer launch.
    At the end of the day fact is that ND once again made a really good game and I hope some of you can enjoy your experience with it, regardless of background noise.    … Expand

This game is amazing to the sound to the graphics and gameplay but there is one thing I didn’t like it was playing Abby for the 2nd half of the game to me it didn’t fell like a last of us game it felt more like a days gone game to me and the end is pretty bad letting Abby live for no reason she went to Seattle To kill all of the people in that room Joel died in but she lets The person that killed Joel to live I hope they do a part 3 but you kill Abby and lev in the beginning then do whatever they make the game about… Expand

    I do think that game does not deserve this score, that it has. 90% of people never started the game. I'm playing the game, I'm enjoying it. It is not a masterpiece imo, but it is not 4.8

It's a story coming from a group of developers that hate the company they work for and the industry they are in. They are trying to point out the hypocrisy of anyone that gives this game 10/10 or hates on it's female protagonists. Joel represents the popular culture of the past. AbbyOkay, so I think I finally understand this game. It's not just meant to pander to SJWs and trigger incels.     Neil Druckman really destroyed this game by plaguing it with politics and his personal views. What makes it worse is that he killed off one of the best characters in Playstation's history. I'm giving this game a score of one just for the graphics, as those are pretty good, but that's about it.

    The last of us 2 es una oportunidad desaprovechada completamente, tienes los recursos necesarios para hacer una obra magnifica, conservando la forma de contar la historia del original y mejorando sus mecanicas, pero este queda a medio camino en las mejoras y destruye su historia.
    Primero dejar en claro, que el juego tiene las mejores animaciones, graficos y una interpretacion de los    The last of us 2 es una oportunidad desaprovechada completamente, tienes los recursos necesarios para hacer una obra magnifica, conservando la forma de contar la historia del original y mejorando sus mecanicas, pero este queda a medio camino en las mejoras y destruye su historia.
    Primero dejar en claro, que el juego tiene las mejores animaciones, graficos y una interpretacion de los actores maravillosa, esperable y necesaria en los juegos AAA.
    Pero tiene problemas irreparables, hablemos de sus mecanicas, una de las principales quejas (de las pocas) del TLOU 1, es que sus mecanicas terminaban siendo repetitivas, en la parte 2, mejoran muy superficialmente las mecanicas, con un arbol de habilidades que no genera ningun impacto significativo, con una IA (tu compañero) muy irregular, sacandote practicamente de la inmersion del juego. Puzzles inexistentes.
    Y el principal problema del juego, la historia pierde demasiada fuerza, las situaciones se presentan e forma desorganizada (Me refiero a que carecen de impacto emocional, de conexion con el jugador), hay demasiados momentos "deus ex" donde se salvan o las cosas ocurren de milagro. El "realismo" que buscaba en el primero se desmorona rapidamente en la parte 2.
    Finalmente, por un suceso que pasa al principio del juego, personalmente le pondria un 0 al juego, sobretodo por el desenlace. Pero no es justo, aún asi siento que es un juego de 4/10    … Expand

I haven't finished the game yet (precisely because I like to enjoy it gradually) but I already understand the impact that was caused to me and the mark that will be left, not only on me but also in the world of games, taking into account that the first game is one of my favorites and one of the best I've ever experienced in my life, and against all false criticism and trolling reviews, I can say for certain that in relation to The Last of Us 2 it WILL NOT BE different. In the technical aspect, Naughty Dog managed to overcome itself again, reusing and improving the same mechanics of the first game, which by themselves were already considered incredible even after the remastering. Regarding the plot, I believe it is not surprising that the game takes a totally different direction compared to the first, since it was a love story, and that now it takes a revenge approach, and that approval or disapproval is essentially subjective, but no degree of dissatisfaction would justify so much hatred, prejudice and boycotting the merits of the game, which ironically will only contribute to The Last of Us 2 being a milestone in the history of games (for better or for worse). In protest of the bombing "reviews", I will personally hope that the game wins GOTY.… Expand

    Only 3 months ago I played bought the last of us part 1,i blown away with the story graphics which was made 7 years back may be 10 years. I love to play part 2 as I already playing it, as far it is good & am loving it.

    Story and plot 1/10 they have completely **** on what made the last game great and that was the relationship between Joel and Ellie

    Barely 2 hours into the game the angry woman comes in and kills Joel and then to add salt the wound druckmann inserted himself in the game literally spitting on Joel and showing how little he obviously cares for the previous fans.

    Очень класная игра! Ждал её с момента, когда узнал, что 2я часть будет. Интересный сюжет, новые враги (новые заражённые и новые плохие люди). Советую всем пройти и 1ю, и 2ю части. 2я часть играется и без первой.

    I'm still playing the game and I'm amazed with everything, just like in the first game. The graphics are amazing, the story is incredible and the characters are very remarkable. Idk why all those bad reviews.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
