    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game tries WAY too hard to differentiate itself from the first last of us, the last of us (1) was a game that made you fall in love with the characters and made you care about them.
    This game however kills off Joel by a character who barely got 2 seconds screen time in the last game, it lost its identity that made it special and liked by gamers alike.    … Expand

    I have long been waiting for this game, continued. By pre-ordering, I decided to support the developers, because they promised a lot. I realized that I was deceived. the game is not worth the money. I have almost no gameplay, this was the most important aspect in my opinion. in general, this is an open hack from the developers.     This is the most disappointing gaming experience in 2020. Let's just throw the characters in the trash, for the sake of the agenda. Let's just insult the whole race, and at the same time we will curtsy the religious symbols of another nation. This is a bloody "Andromeda code", I regret that I bought a CD with this game. Double standards in all their glory. 1 for beautiful graphics ... butThis is the most disappointing gaming experience in 2020.     pathetic game for sofa-gamers with pizza in one hand and gamepad in another. 25 hours of gameplay with 12 hours of cut-scenes? Are u kidding me right?

    Expectations high but if fails to deliver. Abby being an made to be a redeemable character and falling flat. The ending making the entire game meaningless with the message of revenge isn't the answer unless your Abby.

It is basically a one dimension revenge story, with something of a story that really plays on the worse of us and not progressing any moral improvement but simply just portray everyone as the worse. Marketing of this game and early reviews of the game push the narrative you'll be playing the characters you loved from the original, it is not the case, basically one of the key characters from first game is basically murdered for the sake of murdering him early in and you then get to play the character that murder for the majority of this trash. There is nothing to love about the new characters, nothing attractive or sticky to make you enjoy play the game, it is basically all about pointless violence for no reason.

    So writing is basically lazy, uninspired, and seems to play to the twitter rosenspires and not really to the anyone that is actually a fan of the original game but basically an audience that actually doesn't even play games but love to complain about them.

    Basically this game is a waste of time, you're never going to get those hours back and tbh you'd be better off grabbing any other game and playing that.

    Finally, there is a massive double standard with some of the content that Sony have allowed to be in the game in comparison to other titles on PS4.

    I want to give this zero, but visually this game does have some good art and animation, but that is it.    … Expand

    The story is extremely poor and its hard to digest, the writers took this franchise down the wrong path and totally shat on its predecessor. The only redeeming qualities are the graphics and gameplay. You might as well play the first and be done with it.

    What a mess, what made the first game one of the best game of all time? The history The gameplay from 1 and part 2 are decent but to be honest is nothing exceptional is a basic 3rd person shooter. But here its the same formula with such a terrible history that somehow manage to bore people playing for the first time and piss off people who love the first one. And man what a trainwreck is this history that leads nothing to nowhere, with plot that make absolute no sense. Also metal gear fans will know the felling....you want to play with they advertise to you right? You buy the game to play with the character the "sold" to you in the trailers, in their ads. Well guess again you Will spend half the game playing as a character who torture a beloved character from the franchise. Naughty dog/Neil druckman tries so hard, be bold put a powerfull history and Sens a message and all this blahw blah...that turns everything in a huge cliche.
    Just ignore all dialogues, cutscenes and the first game and you might have a good time. Imagine John Wick letting the guy who killed his dog walk away after killed hundreads of people, cause you know...revenge leads tô nowhere bla, bla,bla.
    WHAT A SHAME WHAT THEY DID WITH THE FRANCHISE.    … Expand

    The only good point in this game is its graphics. Really it is superb. However the story-line and characters are awful. There is too much 'progressive agenda', lesbianism, drugs and more. The director tried to deconstruct and pervert all good values. The result is a game where there is false 'strong' characters and a story that the director think it is good enough to make him 'feels' goodThe only good point in this game is its graphics.     TLOU1 is one of the best games of all time. The devs of this one managed to **** on the grave of the first game. I understand that being 'edgy' and 'brave' makes the developers feel better about themselves, but it makes for a ****ty video game experience. The best part of this game were the flashbacks.     Не берите этот кусок говна, примерно до середины игры ну так норм, но дальше тебя заставляют играть Трансом Эбби который и убил Джоэля. И мало того, отнимают все апгрейды.

    For a movie-like game like this, messing up the story is a massive deal-breaker for a lot of people, so what they improved the animation and the graphics? that's just part of the basics.

    I really love TLOU, but TLOU2 is a shame to this series. 10 in total, I’ll give 1 for Joel, -9 for sh*tty story and racism towards Asian.

    Now the disgusting part of the game is its story. I dont have to see this paying 50$ and spending 20 hours playing it. This is the worst story and storytelling I've ever played.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
