    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. WHY THERES SO MUCH ABBY. I am the person who’s very easy to get bored of something. I was playing Tlou2 almost all the time when the game was released until the Abby part came out (Seattle day1,2,3) and that make me quit the game for literally 3 months of not touching this game because I knew if I run up this game I will have to play again this boring **** I swear the god if the ending will be different, people have any feelings like so much people died and no one gives a single **** for more than 2 minutes and instead of playing Abby there will be more Joel and Ellie story I might give this game a solid 9 because I love the first part… Expand

    Game play is awesome, BUT if complete lack of choice on a story-driven game, plus forced SJW agenda, is a no go to you, like it is for me, the game is ruined. A curious fact: some friends that does not like RPGs really liked the game, so i believe that if you watch the characters like you do in a movie, merely agreeing or not with their moral choices, its ok, but if you like to have someGame play is awesome, BUT if complete lack of choice on a story-driven game, plus forced SJW agenda, is a no go to you, like it is for me, the game is ruined. It looks like a mix of capitalism with pedophilia and necrophilia, which would make the worst of criminals think they did nothing wrong. It is the worst exclusive of Playstation 4 in more than 20 years of history, a sadness and a deep revolt, it affects game USERS, (those who play for real), the last of us part 2 is one of the worst things that 2020 could bring, as if this year was not bad enough… Expand

Not only that, just when Ellie was gonna get her sweet sweet revenge on the woman who killed her guardian who protected her from scavengers, psychopaths and zombies she had a "change of heart" because killing is bad. (Even though she killed literally everyone Abby ever loved and had a friendship with) I don't get how this could be nominated for GOTY. The pure existence of the first game lures those who have tried so hard to avoid it, like me. Now I can pass off a warning. DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. GAME.… Expand

    I'm glad to see how people is voting again and changing the score. TLOU2 is a masterpiece and sometimes, only sometimes, the time will give you the answers. "Everyone things they are the hero of their own story."

    Juegazo, platineado y de los mejores que he jugado en todos sus ambitos. No voy a entrar en las polémicas, solo que ojalá metacritic dejara vincular las cuentas de PSN para votar, ya que ni la mitad de los que han puntuado negativamente el juego lo ha tocado.

It let us think a two different character perspective which is really in a different level. I know how frustrated on Joel’s death but this part 2 talks about Ellie and Abby - are two sides of a coin. The way they feel are similar. Well, Abby has its own the Last of Us....
    I think my minor issues of the game is the pacing of it. Its sometimes confusing but its like a puzzle that we need to connect it from our own. Overall, I really do like this game.    … Expand

    I’ll admit I felt somewhat so-so about this game after the first play through. I sat with it for a few weeks and realized I just couldn’t get it out of my head, so I decided to play it again. Really, the longer it’s been since the release, the more love I’ve grown for this game. There are so many details I could dissect the meaning and decisions characters make for hours on end.     Lazy writing sadly killed what could have been an amazing franchise. Neil **** hopefully will focus on making a good game rather than trying to be a social justice warrior in Naughty Dog's future endeavors. Aside from the pandering in the writing, the gameplay is copy and paste from the previous entry, however, the visuals were quite impressive, graphic artists should go an work for aLazy writing sadly killed what could have been an amazing franchise.     The parallelism, intertwined with the cinematographic techniques Naughty Dog uses to deepen its commentary on    The Last of Us Part II takes an unconventional narrative approach, compared to its predecessor. It takes some unexpected turns, so it is best experienced without spoilers. The player is not intended to like many of the game’s events, and this is used to drive the story forward.

    The parallelism, intertwined with the cinematographic techniques Naughty Dog uses to deepen its commentary on themes such as revenge, guilt, violence, and forgiveness are groundbreaking, and the utilization of these techniques helps the game reach a high bar of nuance and complexity, rendering it worthy of analysis. The game’s great writing and direction are supplemented by the performances of the main cast to really make the game come to life, and the soundtrack greatly amplifies the game’s emotional impact. Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey’s superb performances as Ellie and Abby, respectively, are also enhanced by Naughty Dog’s technical achievement in fluid facial animation. From a technical perspective, TLOU2 is irrefutably a masterpiece.

    The gameplay feels realistic due to the game’s great animation and realistic enemy AI, and if the game were shorter, I feel that the gameplay would not have grown somewhat stale by the end. As a whole, I felt poor pacing sometimes bogged down an otherwise great narratively driven experience.

    Without spoiling anything, there were a few, rare moments that didn’t land well for me in the narrative, but for the most part these moments were necessary evils in delivering this kind of story. I also wish some of the new cast of characters were more fully fleshed out. These complaints, however, are minor in the context of a game that otherwise blew me away, and risk-taking should be encouraged in any medium.    … Expand

    but the worst part is the ending, it's so bad it makes Andromeda's ending look good. save your time    i finally played this game, and i'm really disappointed, it's really as bad as people say it is.

    Это лучшая игра 2020 года минимум. Полное погружение. Столько противоречивых эмоций я не испытывал очень давно, а именно это говорит о том, что игра - невероятно хороша. Эта история надолго не запомнится.

    Probably my favourite game behind GOW. Whether you agree with the story choices or don’t, the amount of emotion put into this game and the quality of gameplay and graphics are just about unparalleled.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
