    I loved the first one. I loved the expansion/dlc. They were beautiful vignettes of a world gone beautifully wrong. It was an amalgam of a lot of different apocalyptic ideas with an ending reminiscent of Old Boy, one of my favorite stories and adaptations. I'm not here to talk about controversy. I'm here to tell you this was a mistake. Don't substitute good story telling for anything. AskI loved the first one. I loved the expansion/dlc. Like ellie, the character is focused on vengeance, but we can see an evolution during the game and, at the end, she prove is better person than ellie. 9/10… Expand

    A perfect and much deserved sequel to another masterpiece. Just go for it guys we waited a long time for this and its totally worth it!

    The gameplay, graphics, environments, sound and music score are all amazing at in the 10 bracket. What lets this game down is a massively long and dull story which misses all the important beats from the first game and ruins the bond we had from playing the original.

    It is a great art film. As a result your feelings depends on your relation to this genre. As for me it is an AWESOME story with interesting gameplay and a few flaws.

If you are closed-minded, are not capable to have perspective and are not able to understand the character's point of views, then this is NOT A GAME FOR YOU! A lot of YouTubers and people are fixated to Joel's death which is understandable, but a lot of people really don't understand the story which is where all the hate is coming from. Yes, it sucks that Joel died the way he did and I even cried because he is a beloved character but let's be real, it would not be realistic if Joel had an honerable death. Real life does not work that way, especially in a world of survival. Joel himself crossed many people and he happened to cross someone (Abby) that was affected by his actions. That is where perspective comes in. From what I experienced playing the game, there are two themes which is Revenge and Forgiveness. Because of Joel's death, the flashbacks have meaning and brings moments of happiness to a world that is dark and tragic. Even the times Ellie plays the guitar enhances my happiness in the game. It really does bring so many emotions out of me playing this game and I think that is what the developers wanted. We are human after all. The characters in the game are very well written and if you actually pay attention to the story and dialouge you have with the characters, you learn a lot about them. Not everything is in cutscenes. There is this constant cycle of revenge but at the end, when Ellie gets that quick flashback of Joel, she found her peace and was able to forgive Joel from the lie he told Ellie since Part 1. She had no need to kill Abby because she found peace and was able to move on. Revenge would not take anybody anywhere. Ellie and Abby are similar in so many ways. Even Joel and Abby were similar when it came to taking care of a child for instance Joel for Ellie and Abby for Lev. Other than that, gameplay is amazing, definitely and upgrade from Part 1. Graphics are beautiful and like I said, I enjoyed and loved the story. FYI I also noticed that after like 5 hours of the game coming out, there were a bunch of negative reviews of the game so I find that very suspicious considering that game takes like 30 hours +. And no I doubt 45,000+ people had review copys, lets be real here.… Expand

    This game does not deserve 10/10, max 5/10 cause the story is complete fking garbage and those who are defending it or something are completely retarded. Gameplay, graphics are good, but who cares about that when the story is actually trash and you don't want to continue the game. I got so disappointed with this game.

Максимальное погружение. Запредельное количество мелочей. Просто восторг! Сюжет великолепен. 2я часть, имхо, гораздо лучше первой,Лучшая игра, в которую я когда либо играл.     Если рассматривать игру с точки зрения игрового опыта, а не несостоявшегося хеппи-энда первой части - то это лучший игровой опыт, что можно получить на данный момент.

    I can't say that about out the story. It really let me down. If it will receive game of the year award... It will be a slap in the face to all the games that won the award in the past. And a big kick in the balls to Red Dead Redemption. Revenge is a fool's game. Honestly I did have to put the controller down. After that "man lady" that killed Joel without remorse. Even after saving her life back there under the fence.
    I'm really really disappointed with direction of the story. For me the story ended with the first game.
    I really hope this is Niel Druckman's last job in this industry. I can't believe that I waited for this game 7 years. Ending up to be so disappointed. I regret buying and playing this game. P. S. I'm not a troll and I did not rated this game just for the sake of it. And I really love a good story no matter the media form.
    I gave it a 4 just because I enjoyed the flashback sequences with Joel and Ellie... If that wasn't there...well I have no kind words to say for the rest of the story. Peace out.    … Expand

Игра прекрасно сделана,отличный сюжет,физика,графика и великолепное раскрытие персонажей. Отдельное спасибо за последнюю локацию.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
