    This game's gameplay is unfortunately too similar to the first. I will say that the music is once again great. However, the unforgiving thing of this game is its story, which is a huge shame because that was what really made the first game shine among all other games. This game turned out to be a huge disappointment.

    What it lacks is the story.
    Bad pacing, new characters shoved in and not developed enough to have the players feel emotionally attached and constant gameplay padding. Abby in particular, If she would have been introduced more slowly, building her towards her killing Joel, with the player having to do the job after you have played with her for enough time to start appreciate the character, it would have been much better.

    Instead we have a messy start that sets her as a villain while spending the rest of the game using cheap methods to try and make you like her. Meanwhile dehumanizing Ellie. In the end you don't feel anything for either one of them.

    Another glaring weak point is the longevity, the game could have lasted half the 30 hours it lasts and it would have been better, too much gameplay padding in a game that doesn't shine for combat mechanics.    … Expand

Also having false advertising in your marketing and then saying that is to 'conceal the story as much as possible' is just insulting your consumers intelligence. It shows how much you think of us, especially when you're spoofeeding the concept of 'hur dur revenge is bad'.     After waiting 6+ years for a sequel I was both happy and sad with what was delivered. The game looks and plays beautiful! There were certain aspects of the game that were played out in the wrong order (in my opinion) . I think it would have been better to play the 2nd characters story role before being introduced to her and her relation to other characters in the game.     This game is so damn good. The story is so much more in depth than the first game. This game is ridiculously beautiful, the situations and the way things play out are so realistic. It’s an emotional journey, loved it so much.

    One of the most important aspects of an RPG is the plot. Based on what we got on TLOU 1 the bar was set very high. Part 2 not only didn't meet that bar but plainly failed in multiple levels throughout the 22 hours I played the game. Never before have I purposely wanted my character to be defeated in a game but that was my reality in one of the ending fight scenes. The gameplay,One of the most important aspects of an RPG is the plot. Based on what we got on TLOU 1 the bar was set very high. The gameplay, graphics, scenery, and scare factor are all top notch and deserve acclaim. The plot and storyline is equally poor however. A very sour ending to what should've been a great series extender. Definitely play this game if you have not played or have no interest in part 1.… Expand

Story is **** But i left all expectations at the door when the game director neil druckmann wanted to push SJW proporganda instead of telling a good story. I will not be buying their game in future. I did not believe leaks were turn, but igameplay is beautiful. Graphics and body physics is stunning god tier gaming, and on a 6 year old console??? Hats off to the devs who programmed this.     This game is one of the best games I have ever played in my life, it made me have most of the feelings, the story is incredible, the gameplay is great, and the graphics are certainly the best of the generation. When the game was over I was left with a void inside me, this game deserves all the best, Neil Druckmann's team, and the director himself, deserves a standing ovation. Incredible Game!

Oh God!!! Never thought I'd come out and write on a metacritic cuz a videogame is being harassed and misunderstood. Anyway, this is it. The game rocks and the story is one of a kind and good like to you all, there's so much happening in the world requiring us to get mad at than a video game.

    Çoğu kişinin tepkisini çeken senaryo seçimlerine rağmen çok sevdiğim TLOU Part II gerek atmosferi gerek oynanışı ve animasyonları nedeniyle bu senenin en büyük yılın oyunu adaylarında biri ama daha az SJW propagandası görmeyi yeğlerdim.

Also why does Abby exist does she need to. Simple answer no she is the most uninteresting character since the spoon from skyrim.     Game looks great and the music is fitting. But for me the story is forced and not that good . I found myself not really interest in the characters like i did in the first game which i still play and love . This game is over all get boring and drags . I found myself leaving it and coming back after playing other games. I wont be interested in a third game.

But they are presented too plain, and you don't feel the impact, you are supposed to. Also, the game wants you to feel sorry for all the people you kill, but it doesn't give you a choice - so, you just feel angry at the game.     This game could have, should have named something different. There is barely anything that ties this to the last of us world. The few infected seem thrown in. There is no joy found in this game. The story is garbage. The world is more linear, with 1 open area. The graphics and gameplay are good. This game did so well off of anticipation. It's like The Last Jedi of the video game world.

    I loved the first game and it was story-wise the best game I have ever played. Well, i had ever played. Part II blew my mind, both for the incredible story and for all the fine details and touches in the gameplay. It surpasses the orginal in almost all aspects. A great experience that in my opinion deserves the highest score. Just do yourself a favor and play it.

I bought the game with the expectation that I´m gonna play with my favourite characters. I have no problem with the ending, with the decision to kill Joel although I was not really happy about it but it was understandable why abby did what she did...BUT playing with abby the second half of the game? I was really pissed off and I was even more pissed off when I had to fight against Ellie...If I knew this I would not buy this game for full prize...My bad that I successfully avoided all leaked spoilers... + the fake trailer with Joel going to help Ellie on her journey? and instead of that we are forced to play with abby and fight Ellie...? What the fu*k was that? How anyone in the world could think this is a good idea? They really ruined it with this for me… Expand

These are 2020 "snowflakes" who can't take the grim realities that would no doubt take place in a world subject to the horrors of TLOU2 TLOU2 is an absolute masterpiece. 30hours flew by amongst a story that grips from the outset. The characters bleed in realism. The cast (goodies and baddies) are intense and just played so well. There is not muchRight firstly ignore all the reviews bombs.
