This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The first game was my favorite game of all time. When the trailers came out it was so obvious what this game was going to be about. There were articles and YouTube videos talking about what we all thought it was going to be about. Now suddenly we're acting like we're all surprised? the first game is a 10 for me and this one can't reach that point because I do have some issues with it. But it has nothing to do with most complaints people have. the leaks led me to believe that this is going to be left-wing politics shoved down my throat and that's not the case. So now we want to pretend it has nothing to do with the LGBT controversies, and we all want to claim we're just mad that you have to play as Abby. movies and stories follow antagonist side of the story all the time this is nothing new in story telling. if you genuinely loved the first game, and don't care that there's some LGBT characters in it, by the way Abby is never implied to be trans, try the game you'll likely like it. Now I know people are going to claim I'm just calling people bigots if they don't like this, that's not the case at all. I am actually a right-leaning conservative person in most people's eyes. I was fully expected to be pissed off at a bunch of left-wing politics being shoved down my throat in this game, then it never came and I was wondering what all the outrage was about because while I didn't read the spoilers that's what all the memes were bashing it for. I saw one person say he refused to play the game because Abby was trans (even though the games never implied that l, after I beat the game my friend asked me if they really put tr@nny porn in it. Clearly that is one of the biggest issues a lot of people have, so many of the comments seem to imply having gay lesbian or trans characters is their biggest issue. of course I am not claiming that's everyone though.

If you can't handle that bad things can happen to characters you love and stories then you likely won't like this. As I said, the first game is my favorite game of all time. I can't accept that a character I love dying means it's disrespect to the character or disrespect to me as a fan, that is incredibly simple-minded. and going back to the first trailers, this is exactly what everyone was predicting the game was going to be about so it's ironic that we're acting like that's the part that pisses off so much. I've also seen so many people say it would have been better if you got to get your revenge at the end. That completely defeats the point of the game. If that's the case it would be like Ellie becomes the villain and completes her path to the dark side. that would mean Abby and lev become the protagonist and Ellie becomes a villain. Even Abby spared Ellie's life in the theater. it would have made the story worse if Ellie actually kills Abby at the end but people seem to be too simple-minded and think the only logical story conclusion would be Abby being murdered Ellie. the story was not what I was expecting and obviously controversial but I think the more and more I contemplated the more I actually like how the story comes full circle similarly to how the first game came full circle. And people forget that Joel was a murderous **** and condemned humanity to no cure by killing the doctors. I hope for a part 3.

Without a doubt this is the best game I've ever played. The graphics are outstanding, the story is compeling deep and breathtaking. This is NOT your story. You have the right to tell you dont like but that doesnt make the game what you say it is. Grow up.

In my opinion, what makes the first entry so good was the breaking of stereotypes and the deep care for its characters. This game does that as good or even better. It makes you feel desperated and anxious at first just to make the player feel disorientated, without knowing what to do or to think or what to expect. Then everything changes and you enter in a storm of emotions just to realize everything has a reason, even though we may not like it.

Was this game worth it? YES, every minute I've played it (around 30h just in one playthrough) and every cent I've spent. If you are searching for a stroy that makes you THINK and an appeling but brutal and cruel world, this is your game. If you want a game with the story you already have in your mind, go for another one, this is not for you.

Assolutamente, ma a me è piaciuta molto.
Complimenti a voi e grazie, grazie davvero.

Ignore the narrowminded alt-right hate trolls steamrolling this game, which I would estimate a good 80+ percent of the hard negative reviews are. Poor little insecure twits unable to deal with the slightest challenge to how they want to see the world.
The first TLoU game is one of the few games I've played through more than once. In fact I've lost count of how many times I've played it.

The first TLoU game is one of the few games I've played through more than once. In fact I've lost count of how many times I've played it. Certainly more than any other. LToU 2 lives up to the original on all counts. At first I was a bit tentative about it. The first few hours felt like a bit of a rehash of the original in a lot of ways, but then the game shifted gears and took off. People hollering about plot holes need to use their imagination and understanding of the human condition. Nothing seems out of character. I think a lot of those comments are simply forced onto it to hide the fact that they've got some personal anti-sjw agenda. Why do they hide it.? Because they know, deep down, that they should be ashamed of themselves for being closed-minded hate mongers.

This game literally shocked me because it is not what I expected in this game with regard to the trailer State of play. Did you know? I was really motivated to buy this game because of the scene at the end of the trailer, we clearly saw Joel grab Ellie by surprise ... And the following was:

    - Ellie: What the hell are you doing here? - Joel: You think I'd let you do this on your own.

But in the game they put another character in place of Joel, Seriously it disgusted me to see this scam in the gameplay so much that ... I ejected the game from my game console immediately and I won't play this game anymore ...

The last of us I.
La banda sonora me ha encantado, siguiendo la línea del 1º, con 4-5 temas memorables, aunque el tema principal de The last of us I me gustó más, pero Santaolalla ha vuelto a crear unas piezas acordes al mundo y a la historia pesimista con toques de esperanza que nos cuentan.

Seven years of waiting and honestly, I would've rather waited forever than have the name of this game tarnished with memory of what I just played. I don't have a problem with whatever agenda this game pushed, I have a problem with the story overall. Sorry, but if someone broke into your house and killed your dog, would you forgive them, or go John Wick on them? No one wanted to play as Abby, no one wanted to understand her side. The only reason I am giving this game a two is because obviously the graphics are were going to be phenomenal. In all reality, I should be giving it a zero considering I can't return this game. I think the biggest mistake I've made with it is buying it to begin with...

Expand

    Good
Its disgustingly good looking ( probably the best looking PS4 exclusive)
The sound design and music are top notch
    Runs silky smooth

    Bad
The gun play feels last gen and is mainly stealth based and when compared to other stealth games (dishonored 2, deus ex mankind divided and MGSV) its really mdeiocre and gets very stale after 10 hours
    The Ugly
    Story
The story is horrendous, dark, bleak ,hopeless, nihilistic to the point of being gaming first snuff game. You feel sad and drained not because you empathized with the characters, but becuase the game relentlessly through dark gritty brutal violence at you. Its like watching a puppy getting kicked violent down a flight of steps over and over and over again ...its really puzzling TBH as Naughty Dog are really good at telling competent stories

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I just finished the game and there are so many problems I have for it. First The false advertisement, they advertised like Joel would be in the game a lot longer then he was by model swapping characters in the trailers if I knew that was the case I would have cancelled my pre order immediately. It is a completely scummy thing to do and before you say oh it’s a bait and switch no this is just pure lies which is no ok. Second is how they disrespected Joel the most beloved character by changing who he is you’re telling me the man who spotted a trap miles away would just give out his info to these random armed people and then center himself and make himself vulnerable? No no matter how long you live in a safe area those instincts don’t just go away it’s just poor writing on naughty dogs part. Then they make you feel like Joel is a bad guy for what he did to the surgeon who forced Joel’s hand. It’s made to seem like such a forced back story. The surgeon holds a scalpel up to and armed man trying to save Ellie. He sealed his own fate when he did that. Plus joe made the right call if you watch game theory’s video on Joel’s choice it’s well explained that the surgery is the worst choice possible in the first place and the vaccine would never work so Ellie would have died for nothing. The next problem is they make Ellie look like a villain, her seeking of revenge makes her look more and more evil by making her kill animals and the pregnant girl with Owen even though they both forced Ellie’s hand but you’re still made to feel guilty for it all. Then the unnecessary death Jessie because Ellie just leaves the map the screams here’s our base at the scene where she killed abbys friends just so it can be found just more lazy writing. By adding McGuffins at every turn in the story. The third huge problem is forcing us to play as Abby for Half the game, the person who killed Joel. I did not spend 60 dollars to hear about a story I could care less about. It is obvious they try so hard to make you like her by making her the good guy just after she tortured Joel for who knows how long. Joel killed her father quick he didn’t make him suffer for a long time like the psycho Abby. They make her look good by loving animals and helping two people get out from the trouble they are in and make her seem like such a loving and caring person. She was a poorly written character that was made to make you like her and make you feel bad for her. If they put even half the time into making the story line about Ellie and Joel like everyone wanted instead of making such a boring story about a new character no one wanted to know about there wouldn’t be so much hate for the game. Now they ending is what makes this game just so unbearable. Ellie and Dina have a good life they are finally happy. But they make Tommy into an ass just to guilt trip Ellie into getting revenge again. Ellie leaves everything behind to hunt Abby again making her look like the villain once again. Then when you finally find her they don’t even give you the satisfaction of getting your revenge Ellie is left maimed and Abby gets to go free Ellie returns to find Dina has left and Ellie is all alone. She finds Joel’s guitar and can’t play it due to her injuries instead of taking one of the only things she has left of him she leaves it behind and we have no closure for any parts of the story that we started. What happened to Dina and the baby? Where will Ellie go now? What about Tommy? Hell even their golden child Abby doesn’t get closure. If the game had just ended when Ellie and Dina would have settled down and Abby would have walked away I could have been happy with that ending it’s close for Ellie it’s the life she wanted but they had to destroy everything they built in the two games within an hour span. To me this game was lazy and instead of focusing on the character they should have they put their time into a new character who no one cared about and who isn’t the embodiment of the game series. The bond between Ellie and Joel was what made the first one so amazing but taking that all away within two how’s and making Ellie look like a villain towards Joel in the last moments together it just makes the game feel like a chore to complete. Now gameplay and visuals are great but I bought the game just for the story I knew from the first the gameplay would be fine and to me it was a spit in the face to what was truly loved about the first game. I was praying all game it would just be some big dream because honestly as much as I hate those endings it would have been 100 times better then what we got. Just save your money and stay away from the game I wish I could return it but it’s too late. Expand

7 years and this was the best they came up with, no characters you care about, well except the one with the caved in head.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
