    Fantastic game. Whether the first one is better than this or not is up for debate, but this is an instant classic.

    Forget whatever bad review you have seen on this site... This game blew me away, I agree that the story went in such a way that I disliked it at first glance. But if you play on, you come to realise why it happened and why it actually had to happen! By the end of the story, everything about the game made sense and was a real blast to play through. By the end of the story, everything about the game made sense and was a real blast to play through. I took my time to explore and find all the lore and finished it in around 24 hours. There aren’t many single player games with that length, there aren’t many games that actually made me feel the way I did when playing. The whole premise had an atmosphere that is extremely immersive and the fluidity of the games progression is spot on. I can’t fault it, if I’m honest. You get multiple sides of the story and when it all actually comes together, it’s a wild and brutal ride that will leave a mark! If you enjoyed the first, you will no doubt enjoy this one. I was very anti-TLOU2 after I saw the leaks a few months back and I already knew the general jist of the story. But I didn’t let that spoil the game, the leaks happen within the 2 hour mark and the rest of the 22 hours it took for me to finish came as a surprise. The lore in this game is incredible, there are many different stories going on that you physically read through. I literally have nothing bad to say about this game. Apart from the fact people are leaving bad reviews for no reason when you can clearly see they never played it!

    Mega gra i doświadczenie emocjonalne. Dla takich produkcji warto być graczem. Polecam samemu zagrać i docenić pracę twórców. Mimika twarzy emocje ukazane grafika zawirowania fabularne to najwyższa półka. Trzeba zrozumieć świat w jakim postacie się znajdują że jest brutalny zrozumieć przekaz konsekwencji zemsty aby docenić fabułę. Dla mnie ocena powyżej 10.

    It's one of the most complex games i've ever played. Emotionally intense, you can pass from frenetic anger and fury to full nostalgic and sadness. Gameplay is at another level, it has some mechanics that make the player feel fully inside the different situations of the characters. Really enjoyed the experience, really felt the plot.

    Puede tener una jugabilidad que te sumerge en una historia dura, violenta, complicada y emotiva. Es un juego maduro. Para nada simpático o liviano y es precisamente eso, lo que lo hace difícil. Una dificultad emocional que te vincula a los personajes, ,. La historia, no siempre complaciente, es exquisita y a mí parecer es , precisamente, esa no    EL MEJOR VIDEOJUEGO, SIN LUGAR A DUDAS.

    Es un juego que no es para todos, es un juego para gente que sabe ver un transfondo, les duele y molesta usar a Abby y comprender porqué lo hace, pueden pensar que el final no cierra como corresponde y es entendible. Pero si fueran tan buenos narrativos los criticos de youtube... Estarian en una desarrolladora y no mirando videos así... Pero bueno. Para mí es un juegazo.

    Great game to end ps4 generation. Adult sequel with good story and perfected naughty dog gameplay. All this 0 reviews just shows us that gamers as a masses is a angry,bigoted and blinkered kids. And why all 0 reviews use "poor story"? Is there any guidebook "how to write 0 reviews"?

    Ignore the whiners. This game is even better than the first.
    The story works, the gameplay is vastly improved, and it is an excellent experience all around. Most people who hate on it probably haven't even played the thing.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Für mich ist dieses Spiel definitiv eine 10/10. Die Grafik ist unfassbar gut und ich habe es genossen einfach die Landschaft zu bestaunen. Das Gameplay wurde im Vergleich zum ersten Teil merklich überarbeitet, dazu kommt noch die Nutzerfreundlichkeit im Bezug auf die Sammelbaren Objekte und die 100% Vollendung. Man kann ohne an bestimmten Stellen im Spiel einen Speicherpunkt zu setzen jedes Kapitel nach Abschluss der Story aufsuchen und bekommt angezeigt wie viele Sammelbare Objekte in dem Spielabschnitt fehlen, das ist nicht selbstverständlich.

    Der Aufbau der Story gefällt mir sehr gut, da man auch einen tiefen Einblick in die Geschickte von Abby bekommt, so zu sagen einen Blick auf die andere Seite der Medaille. Ich war während des Spieldurchlaufs von meinen Gefühlen hin und her gerissen. Dieses Spiel hat mich Emotional so stark berührt wie noch kein Spiel zuvor, das ein Spiel soetwas auslösen kann verdient meinen Respekt. Dann war da noch die Sache mit Joel. Der Tod von Joel hat mich echt geschockt, obwohl es eigentlich klar war, dass er früher oder später sterben wird wenn man bedenkt was er in Teil 1 getan hat. Dennoch passte der brutale Mord an Joel perfekt zur düsteren Stimmung des Spiels und in die erbarmungslose Postapokalyptische Zeit in der es spielt.
    Die Liebesgeschichte von Elli und Dina, die erzählt wird zeigt, so finde ich, sehr gut wie wichtig Zusammenhalt und Vertrauen sind (nicht nur in der Apokalypse). Die Entwicklung der Beziehung finde ich nebenbei bemerkt echt gelungen. Ich kann die Leute nicht verstehen, die sich darüber aufregen, dass Elli "auf einmal Lesbisch" ist und finden das es einem "aufgedrungen wird", jeder der das DLC Left behind gespielt hat weiß, dass sie bereits vor den Ereignissen von Teil 1 eine Freundin hatte.

    Alles in allem zeigt uns das Spiel sehr gut, was Rache aus einem macht und wohin es uns bringt. In meinem ersten Durchlauf ist mir nichts gravierend negatives aufgefallen. Das einzige was mich stört sind die Hunde der Gegner, aber nach einiger Zeit hat man raus wie man sie austricksen kann. Für mich ist das Spiel auf jeden Fall ein Game of the year Kandidat.    … Expand

    Aside from the outstanding grafics and gameplay, i liked the story of this game in a other way than part 1, while part 1 had a really beautiful story, part 2 will hit you so much harder. Part 2 is far more creative and bold when it comes to storytelling in comparison to Part 1.

    Wonderful game, and the most fleshed out suite of accessibility options I've ever seen. The story is amazing and so much more then the bland, formulaic stereotype that unfortunately run rampant in many games. Characters have purpose and motivation and it all comes together in a way that highlights the creators skills in storytelling.

    Absolutely gold, many people didn't understand the story at all. The story is so good because it's realistic, at least the struggle with the cycle of violence. This game deserve more love, it's really, really good.

    O jogo supera o primeiro em vários aspectos. Tem uma história ESPETACULAR!!! Gameplay fantástica, gráficos incríveis e muitos detalhes. Realmente, foi um trabalho feito com muito carinho, e vale muito a pena!

    The Last of Us 2 is one of, if not the best gaming experience I have ever had (sounds like an exaggeration but I really mean it). This game shook me to the core and left me emotionally wrecked by the time I completed the story; Naughty Dog has done a great job of getting the player invested in the game and its characters and has made a valiant effort in exploring parallel narratives thatThe Last of Us 2 is one of, if not the best gaming experience I have ever had (sounds like an exaggeration but I really mean it). This game shook me to the core and left me emotionally wrecked by the time I completed the story; Naughty Dog has done a great job of getting the player invested in the game and its characters and has made a valiant effort in exploring parallel narratives that force you to empathise with both perspectives of the story so far. The gameplay, albeit very similar to the original game, has vastly improved in fluidity, animations, and does a great job of providing the player options to explore, take multiple routes, and discover the world around them in a much more natural manner (compared to the prequel). The combat is also an impressive step up from the first game; each encounter flawlessly creates an atmosphere of tension and fear that I haven't felt to such a degree in games I've played before. The stealth system has improved, the player has more freedom of movement, and weapon customizations and character upgrades allow you to choose which playstyle suits you best. Oh, and need I mention the graphics?

    But more about the story - as aforementioned I thoroughly enjoyed it, it does a great job at forcing the player to reflect on their decisions and look at the conflict from various perspectives. Without spoiling too much: halfway through the game, there is a somewhat sudden shift to a parallel narrative that was taking place throughout your playthrough up till that point. This part of the game is what is a turn off for many players, as they find the jump too jarring and out of place. Although I disagree, I do see where they're coming from and do acknowledge the slight pacing issues that are a consequence of this twist. There is also a certain fight sequence right before the epilogue of the game which didn't quite sit right with me, but I can't say much without spoiling the story.

    Overall, I think this game is nothing short of a masterpiece, and much like the prequel is a giant leap forward for storytelling in video games. The best advice I can give you is to go in with an open mind, and you'll certainly love it.    … Expand

    This masterpiece game depicts , hatred, love, hate, revenge and survival and teaches us the result of good and bad. The last of us part II is the best drama game in the apocalyptic narrative or maybe in all narratives.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TLoU2 improves on every aspect of its predecessor. Even though I love Joel and Ellie, ND successfully got me to empathize with Abby on a deep level. You feel for both sets of characters. You understand their motivations. While the overall theme of the game is an old one, it is delivered well. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and you feel that chill in Ellie; right up until the very end when she has lost everything. I even found myself almost rooting for Abby in the fight against Ellie in the theater. You play as Ellie, who was spared, slaughtering countless WLF on your path to revenge. It takes a particular mind to not stop and say "this seems like an unmeasured response." Gameplay-wise the game has improved by leaps and bounds. The upgrades are more fleshed out, combat is more visceral an intense. The enemies are far more varied as well. If you see larger human-type enemies, it usually takes more bullets or brute force to take them down; as it should. One small feature I enjoyed were the segments when you had to use ropes. It's a small thing, but it was neat. The open level design at the beginning of Seattle was perfect. I really cant rave enough about this game. For those who loved the original and are disappointed with the change of characters, I would point you to MGS2. People HATED Raiden when the game first dropped. Years later, its regarded as a masterpiece. The games are very different, but the use of changing characters as a gameplay element and plot device is largely the same. Keep an open mind and try to empathize with Abby, as well as her and Ellie's motivations and intentions and I bet in no time you will realize the true depth of this game.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
