    The great work of the developers, the game is insanely beautiful, but all this is completely destroyed by a stupid plot, stupid characters and an unnecessary LGBT message as if there are no other problems in this world. in general, a very very bad continuation, which should not have been well, or not Neil Drakman should have done it by someone more adequate and mature (with a brain).     I got half a game cuz you are forced to play half the game as another character then Ellie that I CARE NOTHING ABOUT.
    so basically I get half a game.
    which also has a mediocre story..

    i dont understand why so much hate ?
    this game made me laugh, cry, rage and get excited
    also a grate inpovement in the game play and conbat mode grate score ,most of the people foucus on the begining of the story and the ending but that is not all ..

    Il gioco è un opera colossale non da solo punto di vista "ludico" ma come opera complessiva. Colonna sonora, fotografia, soggetto e sottotrame sono stupende.
    Sebbene non abbiano introdotto importantissimi novità dal punto di vista del gameplay, è stato perfezionato quel che basta per una migliore giocabilità ed un senso di "casa" rispetto il primo episodio.     The Last of Us 2 is the perfect sequel to the first game, putting you in the midst of an intense plot, with real to life characters, thrilling gameplay, scenery and exploration, immense attention to detail, a beautiful soundtrack and a story that no developer has really dared to take on.

    Naughty Dog has done an incredible job creating a story that we haven't heard before, they took    The Last of Us 2 is the perfect sequel to the first game, putting you in the midst of an intense plot, with real to life characters, thrilling gameplay, scenery and exploration, immense attention to detail, a beautiful soundtrack and a story that no developer has really dared to take on.

    Naughty Dog has done an incredible job creating a story that we haven't heard before, they took massive risks in order to give us something different and I believe they succeeded.

    Dont believe the review bombers, the game is not even arguably below a 9/10 if you're being critical. Some people just decided to hate the game because the main characters are both women.    … Expand

    The last of us 2 is a masterpiece that anyone who calls themselves a gamer must experience. The fluidity of the combat and the tention naughty dog builds during gameplay sequences is so extreme yet so effortlessly brilliant. The story is dividing but I feel it is more about forgiveness than revenge. Won't spoil anything but I highly highly highly recommend reserving judgement before theThe last of us 2 is a masterpiece that anyone who calls themselves a gamer must experience.     The game story is much greater than first one TLOU2 has great emotional moments make you hate Abby but later your thoughts absolutely changes by playing second part of the game with her.
    I loved the game from Story to gameplay, everything was perfect.

    If this wasn't the successor to the best game ever made, probably could get a 6 or a 7, but...it is...and it failed badly. The nice music and visuals doesn't hide the weak gameplay and hollow story. And that´s the problem - TLOU never combined with "hollow story". TLOU II made the franchise "just another zombie game"

    Really enjoyed the game, it was full of surprises. Glad I didn't read any of the spoilers before playing and made my own opinion of the game.

    I can't get over how bad the story telling is. It is such a let down after the first game wrapped up so well. It's very disappointing.

    Amazing game! I loved it, made me question myself. Helped me with some real life issues I am currently going through. Couldn’t have come out at a better time for me!

Then they force you to play as Abby for 10 hours. You have no choice. Throughout the game, you will be forced to make cruel decisions and then guilted into thinking you are a terrible being. You then play as Ellie angry and wanting revenge. When you finally get into the final fight..you let Abby go. I wasted $60 buying this garbage. I should’ve listened and believed the leak. 0/10… Expand

I evaded leaks and all that BS, but now maybe I should have done that. The story was good, but unrewarding which would make you wonder why you even went for the quest in the first place. Can’t get a refund which would make anyone feeling bitter if they didn't like the game. I gave it a 4/100. I didn’t enjoy the game. It was boring. I literally almost slept in my own playthrough which is a first to me. it didn't exceed my expectations, it's just an edgy game trying to live up to its prequel. I just wished it had more depth in it with a better ending. I was playing this game with some friends who had watched the spoilers and by the end of the game they laughed at the grimace I made, I don't think I have ever cringed so hard in my entire adult life but this is the last time I buy anything on day 1. Edit:I replayed the game and I ended up getting a different experience. I think that the fact that I hasted the game made me judge it too harshly. It didn't get better, I just realized some significance of some events which I didn’t in my first playthrough. All in all I don’t look forward to any last of us 3 any time soon. Do I recommend the game? No, definitely not on this price. However I do recommend buying it if on sale.… Expand

    Beautiful atmosphere, strong game play, but overshadowed by an abomination of a story. The poor story mimics the train wrecks of game of thrones season 8, and the star wars last jedi. The disparity between the user reviews and critics show how out of touch woke media really is. Before any virtue signalers call the cancel culture; I had no issue with Ellie's sexual preferences nor the transgender character (though the actor is racist and sexist but thats another story), but this story is another cancellation of a strong male father figure.
    Overall really dissatisfied with the direction of the franchise and I will not be considering this canon nor will I invest in a TLOU part III.    … Expand

    Fear of every human being. No matter how much you lie to yourself. Deep inside we are all scared to end up alone. We all want someone who we can love and care for. I love the last of us.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
