    Awesome AAA game from a great studio.
    Made in a way that leaves it to you, the player, on how you feel about the characters. Every character has their reasons for doing what they do, but how you feel about them is left to you. I loved it.

It really got me hooked, I do feel the game is bit long as at many moment I was like end it know. Story is not conventional but that’s what make it special every time it’s a surprise. Ending is justified as well for if you as I was able to understand.… Expand

    The game was for me the perfect continuation of part 1. The story is emotional af and I really felt with the characters. The criticism I hear is in my opinion too hard for what game we have here, of course the story is hard but in my view it’s realistic and the perfect way to go.

    Я закончил прохождение "Ласта" в воскресенье примерно около 22:00 и чёрт возьми я хорошо помню то ощущение, пустоты и тоски которое поселила во мне эта история. Это ощущение схожее с Экзистенциальным кризисом. История девочки Эли (я все же считаю, что это именно её история) её терзания, и всё что с ней приключилось за эти две части оставляет очень много вопросов. Знаете в какой-то момент (когда я тупо залипал в титры) я чуть не разрыдался как девчонка ! Мне захотелось купить ближайший билет до Санта-Моники ворваться в кабинет к Дракману и заорать "СКАЖИ ЧТО У НЕЁ ВСЕ ХОРОШО! СКАЖИ ЧТО У ЭЛИ БУДЕТ ВСЕ ХОРОШО!!!".
    Эта игра вызвала у меня эмоции которые я не испытывал с первой части. И это потрясающе.
    И знаете, если следующая часть истории об Элли выйдет через семь лет, то для меня это будут очень долгие семь лет.
    P.S.
    Плюрализм мнений конечно должен иметь место, но честно ребят я не пониманию откуда у этой игры такие оценки, от геймеров, очень надеюсь, что ситуация исправится и разработчики получат своё признание вновь.

    Finished the game yesterday. I didn't see any of the leaks before hand.

    Honestly I don't get the negative reviews. The story is coherent and has a clear theme. Gameplay is solid It did get a little tedious once or twice but I think that was more down to me playing on a harder difficulty. Half the people here had given reviews on the day the game came saying they finished the game, so its almost obvious they haven't and are obviously just going by the spoilers. Don't bother with that. The game is an absolute must play and the story is amazing in that its truly realistic. But keep in mind it is extremely violent and dark and the graphics are on a whole another level.

    The story is what it is if you can’t accept that then don’t buy this game. But if you are willing to go in with an open mind and take in the story this game gives you, you are in for an emotional rollercoaster and nothing short of a masterpiece in storytelling. The gameplay improves on everything from the first game and then some. Those graphics are fire. That soundtrack is beautiful andThe story is what it is if you can’t accept that then don’t buy this game. But if you are willing to go in with an open mind and take in the story this game gives you, you are in for an emotional rollercoaster and nothing short of a masterpiece in storytelling. Este juego maneja perfectamente la crudeza de un mundo postapocalilptico y nos enseña que no siempre el "héroe" de la historia debe ser tratado con pinzas y morir de manera épica. Mucha gente se enoja porque a joel no se le dio una muerte épica y exactamente es lo que el juego quiere retratar, no por ser el protagonista del juego anterior tienes que morir de la manera más heroica posible, nuestros protagonistas son personas comunes y corrientes como tu o yo y son tratados como tal. simplemente una obra maestra en todos sus aparatos.… Expand

    I really enjoyed this game, I would have preferred to play a little less as abby but thays all my complaints. I thoroughly enjoyed the deep and gripping story its alot to stomach if you cant deal with floods of emotions this game is'nt for you! The graphics are the best if this generation and truly lives up to part one whis has had a prequel a long time comeing.     Gerade TLOU2 beendet. Technisch und Inszenatorisch wohl eins der besten Konsolenpiele aller Zeiten. Emotional und erzählerisch hat es mich aber kaum gepackt und nie so in seinen Bann gezogen wie Teil 1. Dafür wirkte vieles einfach zu forciert um ein bestimmtes Ende zu erreichen.

    Allerdings ist besonders die zweite Hälfte des Spiels eine Wucht und hat mich für eine 08/15 erste Hälfte und    Gerade TLOU2 beendet. Technisch und Inszenatorisch wohl eins der besten Konsolenpiele aller Zeiten. Emotional und erzählerisch hat es mich aber kaum gepackt und nie so in seinen Bann gezogen wie Teil 1. Dafür wirkte vieles einfach zu forciert um ein bestimmtes Ende zu erreichen.

    Abby ist für ganz klar die spannendste Figur. Ihre ganze Geschichte fühlt sich an, als wäre hätte sie der logische Protagonist sein sollen und nach Teil 1 ist ihre Story am interessantesten.

    Die Story hätte mich wohl am meisten überzeugt, wenn Abby zur Hälfte des Spiels auch Ellie und co. getötet hätte und man den Rest mit Abby spielt, die mit dieser Tat hadert und dann durch die neuen Bekanntschaften Katharsis erfährt.

    Aufgrund der doch sehr ungerechfertigten Scorevergabe gebe ich dem Spiel hier eine 10, auch wenn ich nur denke das es eine 8 wäre.    … Expand

People keep crying about playing with a character who we hate(Abby). How do you expect us to like her? That's exactly the thing, you aren't supposed to like her in the beginning.
    The game shows her in the beginning to be this villain that you are looking for to kill. And when you get to play with her your feelings of hatred towards her change, not to love, but to sympathy. You don't have to like her, but you need to understand that she's not just a villain, she is another human being who was also exacting revenge just as Ellie and that isn't wrong.
    As much as I loved Joel and hated Abby for killing him, she was just doing what Ellie is doing. And that's the game theme, to show you the story from 2 points of view. This perfect story that adds up and gets you confused and shook of why this is happening and if what you are doing is actually the right choice.    … Expand

    This game sent me on an emotional rollercoaster, I’ve cried happy and sad tears, It’s such a beautiful but also very heartbreaking game at the same time.
    I appreciate the fact that this game feels real. Life isn't just black and white and it sure as hell isn't a fairy tale.

    Absolutely amazing! Great story. Sure it left me with a broken heart, but oh boy that was a ride! Real roller coaster of feelings. Worth every hour spend with it.

    Perfect game. Graphics are off the charts for this generation, the gameplay has improved a great deal and makes it even more fun to play, and the story is bleak, violent and moving, just as a The Last of Us story should be.

    I purchased the game on release day and somehow managed to play the game unspoiled and didnt hear about the leaks before. So I was really blind to the game - and that just might be the point. I ADORE every piece and part of this game. The characters are so detailed, vivid, emotional,... Naughty Dog just proved once more that there are geniusrd in character and animation design working there. The story is action, hatred, anger but also love and a little laughter and this already in the first 60minutes in game.

    Just as the first game totally changed my priciples (I'd never shoot an uninvolved doctor, not even in vid games, but **** it, i shot everyone at the fireflies in part I) this game managed to do this as well. First i HATED to play the second protagonist of the game but more and more, the character developed, i felt pity, i began to understand, i even cried for him/her until everything merged together in an emotional roller-coaster-like climax.

    Screw the haters, as most of them didn't even played themselves or IF they did, they were already spoiled and made their bad opinion up in their head already - nothing could change these prejudiced people, they never gave the game a chance.

    Play it yourself, unspoiled or try to let yourself into the journey unbiased and you WILL NOT regret it.    … Expand

    Un juego muy interesante el cual te hace reflexionar mucho con respecto a las acciones de cada personaje, nos pone en el supuesto de cada personaje para saber el porqué actúa de esa manera. Por otro lado, cabe felicitar el soundtrack, gameplay, en realidad, todo. Un juego totalmente recomendado!! Saludos.

I mean the proof is in the pudding, why else would films like Blade Runner 2049 and Silence flop in the box office, while garbage like the Star Wars sequels and the Avengers are at the top of the lists? I don't know why people are so dumb, hateful and failing to appreciate when good stuff actually come out (it happens so rarely nowadays) and the depths to which Naughty Dog expands the world, characters and ideas of the Last of Us in Part II is nothing short of special. I don't know why most people are so dumb and I don't really give a flying ****, nor should the few who are capable of appreciating what was done here. This game is a masterpiece either way.… Expand

    Definitely an amazing game, one of the best of the current generation. Sure, some plot decisions were going to be controversial, but it's an undeniably well written and well managed storyline.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
