    Quite simply the greatest accomplishment in gaming history. Those who cant deal with the themes should be embarrassed.

    The art and gameplay are unbelievable, well done to the devs, outstanding.

    Warning, there are some really bold story choices in this that will make you rage at the game. But stick with it, its worth it. Absolute masterpiece of game storytelling and the sound design is the best I've ever seen.

    The critics were only allowed to review the gameplay and not the story which made the scores biased, and you can see the difference from the user reviews which consider both. As for the gameplay, this game is phenomenal. I loved it and would give it a 9.0 or 9.5. there's still a few things that could've been improved.     Jogo fantastico, chorei do inicio ao fim. Esse jogo esta de cheio de momentos de ação e tensão, tristeza e felicidade, e um final emocionante. ignorem as criticas com nota baixa, as pessoas viram o vazamento do roteiro, nem jogaram e deram nota ruim.

    -it felt like the writer wanted everyone to die. No happy endings. This part could be better.

    To be fair.. i dont wanted Abby to die, but i disliked that Joel died. I guess it needed to be done to make the story.

    I wish Part 2 was never made. Just play The Last of Us if you want to enjoy a perfect game. 2 points for beautiful graphics tho.

    Jogo incrível, emocionante, expressões faciais mais realistas dos jogos, quase humanas, joguei com lágrimas nos olhos principalmente na luta final, que conta com um peso emocional gigantesco e uma ambientação fenomenal!

    Objectively speaking it’s a good story but coming from part 1 as a huge fan they basically took everything you liked away, destroyed it and made you do things in the game you don’t want to. Really the game is just killing time since the infected have like 0 amount of threat compared to the first game

The original TLoU is a masterpiece, and I'm really sad to see how Naughty Dog has ruined it. I'm not gonna review this game because it's already done for many people. I just come to say that this is not the game that they have been selling us during years. It's like if in the new God of War, someone kills Kratos and then Santa Monica forces us to play with his killer.
    TLoU Part II is an offense to all the fans of the first game. They forced us to empathize with someone we don't care about. They have been selling us the trip of Ellie, Ellie in the cover, all the trailers about Ellie, EVERYTHING about Ellie, and at the moment of truth, they force us to play with Joel's killer, and, the worst of everything, after some hellish hours that we all play obliged, they forced us to destroy Ellie, to try to kill her, playing with Abbie. It's the cruelest and most disgusting way I've ever seen to laugh in the face of the fans. I'm sorry ND, but you have broken the masterpiece you did 7 years ago.    … Expand

    This game is amazing! To fully enjoy this game, you can't expect just another TLOU story. With the same story and theme. This game will make you feel many different feelings. Angre, happy, sad, confused, and deffenetly conflicted. The game exspect you to feel for joel and ellie from the start. And i deffenetly did that.     Отличная игра. Абсолютно не пожалел, что купил. Из минусов могу отметить разве, что затянутое начало (часа потребовалось игре чтобы разогнаться).     Beautiful art, sceneries are spectacular. Very well written characters, great story. Improved gameplay from the previous title.

    Don't believe the negative "hype" . It's a great game with a great story about hate and blind revenge leads nowhere, just to lose friends, family, love and 2 fingers:). Try it, and you will find that Abby isn't an evil monster, just a girl who made wrong decisions like Ellie:) . What's more : game mechanics, combat are excellent.

    This is a perfect follow up to the masterpiece that is the first game. People who hate it don’t understand the story, and don’t know what Ellie had to get over to forgive and move on.

The way the story was told, the way the characters were treated, the way that the narrative was held, it was ALL WRONG. The gameplay is consistently evolving, even over the course of the 30-35 hours it takes to complete it. The story is big and sprawling, but at the same time very cohesive and well-considered. It avoids the many potential pitfallsDon't listen to the hate. Many of the "reviewers" here clearly have not played the game. This game is a huge step forward for video games as a serious art-form. The gameplay is consistently evolving, even over the course of the 30-35 hours it takes to complete it. The story is big and sprawling, but at the same time very cohesive and well-considered. It avoids the many potential pitfalls to deliver a truly impactful but also very enjoyable experience. This game respects the player's intelligence and maturity in a way that a lot of other games would be afraid to do. Please just play it for yourself, I think you are really missing out if you don't give this game a chance.… Expand

    I really loved the story of this game, there are so many references to the first game and I have found the main characters awesome. Abby and Ellie were psychologically perfect. The gameplay was fine.

How to mess up a whole history that has been developed for many years in a couple of minutes. The game play, the graphics , places , characters, and everything was perfect for me , but it’s hard to see how you can mess a game so much just changing the merely history , just for that , all the hard work of animators , creators and more stuff comes to the trash just for a bad ending and I wasn’t expecting it to be a happy ending , but either the worse ending I have ever seen , I might not be able to understand the true meaning to this ending but for me it was crap, I tried to defend this game from a long time but after this, all that I can say is “ buy it if you want to spend some couple of hours enjoying a good gameplay and not caring about the history then buy it . But if you are looking for a master piece history then please make your self a favor and don’t buy it… Expand

Красивая, жестокая, яркая и безумно трогательная история, где в мире полном чудовищ, главными монстрами становятся люди. Достойное завершение эпохи PS4. Спасибо Naughty dog за невероятную гамму эмоций, которую испытал, играя в этот шедевр.

While there would be much to say about the superb graphics, the beautiful environment and its skillful use in mood-setting, the challenging but fair combat (which can be tailored to your preferences), and the crafting system which hits the sweet spot between being too simple and too tedious, the real star in this game are the characters and the story.

    Contrary to what some critics say, the story of this game actually takes the ending of its predecessor seriously and explores its ramification. You get to know characters affected by these events, and the game makes you care deeply about them — so when at some point they clash with our protagonist, you really don't know whom to root for. The game also makes you actually care about minor characters on (almost) every side of the many conflicts in this game, which leads to many gut-clenching events which often made me pause the game to reflect on what had just happened.

    Oh, and — time and again — no one gets the easy way out. And this is where the game really shines and literally earns its “mature” label: When a story starts with the supposed hero slaughtering doctors and nurses in a hospital, who are on the verge of doing nothing less than saving humanity, an ending along the lines of “we killed the baddies, now everything is fine and everyone lived happily ever after”, which you see so often in movies and games, and some fans apparently expected, would be juvenile and rather empty.

    This game is not juvenile and empty. It is mature, and it actually has something to say. It elevates gaming from pure entertainment to art (that happens to entertain hella lot!).    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
