    A great game that builds on the world of the first game. Yes it has its views but if you can look past that and enjoys the world and story that Naughty Dog has buildt then I fully believe you can enjoy this game.

    Having finished the game 20 minutes ago, I must say I really enjoyed this piece of art. It is a really worthy sequel that is even netter than the first game. I highly recommend it.

    For me Joel would never die in another circumstances. He sacrificed ENOUGH in previous part to make his death another drama. Its hard but realistic.

    And like it or not, it's a new world.With lgbtq and emancipation. With strong characters, not genders. And resisting changes could lead only to closed perception.    … Expand

    Just starting my journey into this incredible game! So far I have not seen any reason to validate the negative reviews. I’m unsure what game other individuals are playing but I have not experienced “clunky” animations. I’m sorry others are experiencing poor performance.

    The game have a strong and extremely intense history! Ellie is a great and powerful female protagonist, she may be one of the greatest female (if not the best) characters ever made in all types of media (and one of the greatest characters made of all)....     With a stunning graphic make everything in the game look beautiful, interesting combat and craft system, great audio soundtrack and a heartbreaking story. Another masterpiece by Naughty Dog.

    in short, I loved it, I am giving it 10/10 because I like to rate games on a scale of 1 to 5, in a way that it shows the level of the general product on all aspects, a perfect score doesn't mean the game is perfect in my book.

    I will start with the easy stuff and advance through the harder and the more controversial stuff.

    Technical quality is top of the industry both in graphics and audio, it isn't a surprise but this achievement is even more impressive that the game is on the Playstation 4 console that is almost 7 years old at this point. But the more impressive part is the attention to details that makes this game so immersive.

    Gameplay is much improved over it's predecessor and level design is simply amazing with some influence from Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy. it's nothing revolutionary but it's a natural evolution of a everything that was in The Last of Us. New types of enemies added to the game and older enemies are refined and feel more unique than before, with a well done AI that made my experience more challenging with the higher difficulty like I wanted.
    I also like the slight change in gameplay throughout the game, although at the start it felt like a startover, it quickly picked up and was refreshing.

    All the extra options and accessibility in the game is simply amazing, I haven't used them but the amount of stuff you can modify in the game from a custom difficulty and changes to HUD all the way to modifications that change the experience drastically that can be count as cheats for some people that have no need for those modifications. This is an amazing addition and I hope more singleplayer game will take note and implement stuff like that, I love when we get more options to choose how we want to experience a game to suit us.

    I personally liked the story and think that it truthful for the first game, but I do understand why this is so controversial and understand why some people are upset with the story itself and not necessarily the level of writing. Story about the cycle of violence is nothing new, like most other things unfortunately, so the execution is what matters here and in my opinion I think it was well done although a bit flawed. Naughty Dog used the fact this is a game and not a movie or something else to enhance the story by dragging the player to do things he doesn't necessarily want to do. I can't recall when I experienced that in a game before, I might have but usually I feel rewarded by story in games and that what makes this game standout for me.

    side note: I remember that the first game was planed to be a single game and after it was release Naughty Dog said they will make another game only if they got a story that they want to tell. Well that was that story they wanted to tell and I respect that a lot because they took huge risk here and all the controversies show it, I hope people will accept it and move on instead of try to bully the developers to give them what they want. I do think it was a bit blown out of proportion as a result from the leak.

    to conclude, I do recommend this game a lot, it's brilliant in all the technical stuff and the gameplay is very good. you might not like the story itself or certain parts of it, but give it a chance even when it's hard especially if you liked the first game. This is something you got to experience for yourself if you are a fan of the first game or those kind of games.    … Expand

    Sometimes I just don't understand what people expect from games. Maybe because there is always less than 15 minutes of progress. Because the game slows down? In times of Call of Duty, Battlefield and other stuff, this doesn't suit everyone ...

    With The Last of Us Part II, finally a game with a great story. Great graphics and a game that doesn't force you to progress every 30 minutes. That is exactly what it is all about!

    I didn't know how to feel about this game first... so I thought trough everything i liked and hated in this game and it became clear that this might just be one of the best games out there. So stop giving bad ratings to this game if you haven't played it! Play it, it is WORTH IT!

    Great game. DO NOT MAKE TBE MISTAKE OF LISTENING TO ALL THE BUTTHURT REVIEW... they carry no weight. The game is well thought out and the story (although dark and sad at times) is very well thought out. The mechanics are fantastic and the landscape is what you would expect and more from Naughty Dog. It is a very fun game and well worth the 60$

Jeder darf eine eigene Meinung haben, aber was hier fabriziert wird hat nichts mit Kritik zu tun sondern ist Blödsinn. Nur weil einem die Geschichte nicht gefällt. Das macht ein gutes Spiel/Film aus. For those who love games, is almost an obligation to play it, and deep dive on this awesome world that Naughty Dog created.     Visuals-the greatest graphics alongside with RDR 2 yet
    Gameplay-if you love the first part’s gameplay you will be absolutely impressed.
    The plot-it’s great but not the level of deepness from the first part. Nonetheless one of the best stories in this generation.

    Les trolls, les haters, les pro d'une autre console qui rage sont de sortie. J'en suis qu'à quelques heures avec quelques passages fort déjà, mais je peux dire que ça reste fidèle au précédent, c'est beau, les transition sont invisible, une très bonne réalisation et une histoire qui tien la route pour le moment.

Ele nos mostra a importância de conhecer os dois lados da moeda. Que aquelas vidas que Joel tirou no primeiro jogo, especificamente no final, também tinha suas famílias, amigos etc. Nunca vi um jogo se aproximar tão real do que o ser humano pode se tornar, ou não.     Pretty sure all the negative reviews are from people who either haven’t even played the game or even finished it....Its beautiful, has made me smile more times than i can count, and yes a bit depressing but so is real life when your old enough....there is literally nothing wrong with this game

    The parts where you are controlling the other character, makes you uncomfortable, it is true, but I understand that it is purposeful. In the world, there are no heroes and villains.     Great to see the xbox gamers active and rating PS4 games! It is a sign of fear from them for rating this game so low. Xbox has some great games and i dont go rate them a low score. The Last Of Us 2 is one of the best if not the best games of this generation.

    The game is incredibly good!!! The story is amazing for several reasons, one of them, is the inclusion of a LGBT character which represents loads of gamers. On top of it, the way the game involves the player makes us feel part of that world. Congratulations!!!
