    What make TLOU successful is the story between ellie and joel, without it the game is nothing. So much disrespectful to joel and ellie in TLOU 2, too much unnecessary new character to put the WOKE propaganda !!!

    I work at gamestop and we gave this game away for free because we over ordered but alot of our customer will not take it even thought its free. Now we have to recoup our lost by increasing the price of our other items. I hope the boss wont repeat the same mistake when ps5 come out.

    It doesn't work, it throws out what you liked from the first game and changed the story to be about some new "girl" that would sound better as a hypothetical fanfic

Ellie forgives the person responsible for killing her father right after killing hundreds in a murder spree. It's almost like they acknowledge that the people we killed are just NPCs and Abby is the only real human we can kill. No one cares if it's dudes **** each other. It's your **** story where the dude that survived 20 years by being careful, goes in a **** room with armed people like a dummy. The gameplay is the same mediocre shooting with occasional melee where you press 2 buttons, except they took out the enviromental puzzles whoop. The worst part about this game is that it has the Star Wars defense: "You didn't like it because there was a female protagonist" or "You hate the gays". Mediocre story that ****s on the original paired with boring old gameplay equal a bad game 10/10 IGN.… Expand

    The original Last of us was Legendary because of the story. This game has good graphics and a similar gameplay as Uncharted 4 so it should be a good game, but the Story ruined the whole experience.
    I loved all ND products so far so I gave a chance, but now I would make a refund if it would possible just to show how deeply disagree with the story.
    Wise character gone dumb as braindead runners.

And they shove up the character who killed him, which is Abby, up your ass half of the game to force you to like her. There's a good way to go and there's a bad way to go; they somehow managed to come up with a really terrible and disrespectful way. 7 full years and this is what it ends up to? Such disrespect to the characters of the games and to the fans. It's as if they forgot how their characters think and act. It's unreal. The first one was personally one of my favorite games ever. About the CLEAR agenda of screaming feminism and LGBTQ rights on everyone's faces, fine. Do it. It's perfectly okay to bring awareness to social issues. We get it. But at least do it well and not at the expense of the main characters of the game! Joel's death is so forced, the agendas are so forced. Like, literally kill almost every man in the game? really? The only thing surrounding this game is a veil of scandals and problems which is never a good sign.     Unfortunately for whatever reason the developers decided to take a perfectly fine concept of the first chapter and added completely unnecessary forced and artificial SJWing. Characters now are poorly written but appealing to somewhat trending SJW fashion of vocal minority. Whole game feels like forced love plotline from the last Star Wars trilogy between that Finn and Rose - poorly written, completely artificial and out of place, it is Game of Thrones final bad. And by the way they've cast Arnold Schwarzenegger as one of the "female" characters. No joke, there is a certain line between male and female even if the latter is a bodybuilder and is ripped af, that line is nowhere to be found, what they did was just take Arny's body and head-swapped the character. This game is wasted potential, ruined forever since it is canon and it won't be fixed like Sonic movie rendering for example. You know when the company actually listened about their mistake instead of insulting and aggravating customers? Like even EA did couple of times with Mass Effect ending and BFront2 and even somewhat BFV?

    It is shame that game narrative and "trendy artistic vision" decisions are so bad that completely overshadow fine sound, mechanics, motion capture, graphics and other unrelated things that are actually ok. It is just like a tumor in the brain - kills completely working body.

    Rent the game for 5 bucks if you like trash and want new kind of disappointment, don't buy for full price or on sale.

    As for the media and reviews from media companies - they just doing their work to get money. You won't see them criticizing the arm that feeds them. If you want honest opinions - watch your favorite streamer review or read couple of honest metacritic users, or if your are immune to massive disappointments - try playing yourself.    … Expand

    Pandering took precedent over good storytelling.
    This is a clear example of writing by committee.
    All the key political and social points are made to snag the highly political reviewers.
    But the actual quality takes a back seat.
    Which explains the difference between the critic and user reviews.
    Critics get their feeling of moral superiority, actual customers get a bad story.

    Игру сгубили сценаристы и создатели персонажей, ребят у вас были все шансы получить игру не то что года а пятилетки точно, но вы решили продвигать идеи феминизма и ЛГБТ сообщества из за чего игра в плане сюжета скучнейшее говно а решение пол игры отдать под игру за убийцу Джоела... просто убивает игру напроч. This game does in fact bring out the best in gameplay, visuals, and mechanics for the playstation 4 but to think this would be past on on from ign as a 10/10 is over exaggerating the whole premise of what made and sold the first game was the story. It made you feel something not try to learn it buy going through flashbacks after flashbacks. Its so hard for me to write this cause, this game came out on my 20th birthday and to think I spent may day getting disappointed, after getting so hyped for just holes in a story i had to uncover through ellies PTSD. This game does make some new renovations towards the gaming world by having a diffrent set of charcters but everyone else seemed so worthless. People would die and their isn't anything, no memorial, no lines just walk over and forget .I wish I could get a refund I couldve spent my hard earned money towards something way better than this scrapped up together pieces of ****… Expand

    До выхода tlou2 франшиза tlou была удивительной мало где можно было увидеть такую проработку персонажей, отношений и диалогов когда все персонажи не картонные балванчики в игре с очень крутой графикой.

    Fans Love characters and the relationship between Joel and Ellie. Naughty Dog already had us.
    To make a second part was not a difficult task. Neil had easy. They made a fantastic 1st part and DLC.
