    This game is embarrassing. You know what? I'm gonna play a game with a better story than this. Dead Rising! That is right. Dead Rising basically only has ONE story element. "The government are using Zombies for Money" But even THAT is more engaging than this failure of a game.

    Go play as Frank West in Dead Rising. You will have WAY more fun.

    Да, в техническом плане игра красивая. Частицы, окружение, физика льда и стёкол. Но такое уже было в RDR2. Почему эта игра такая требовательная и так плохо работает, ведь это просто сюжетная игра, а не открытый мир?     This game destroyed everything I loved about the first game. It is filled with characters that the game force you to immediately adore. It is a dark game with no light in it. It is just another empty revenge story. It doesn't bring anything new to the table. Kinda like new Star Wars trilogy . Very dissapointing after 7 years of wait.

    Jogo chato, todo bugado com a historia ruim, não recomendo, parece que com o vazamento da historia eles anteciparam tudo e entregaram o jogo inacabado, sem mencionar as péssimas condições de trabalho que a Naughty Dog oferece aos seus funcionários o famoso crunch.

I didn't care who was who what they like what they are what everything, what bother me how much emotional investment the devs tried to shove down through your throat just to be pointless (literally) the characters aren't memorable, let alone the plot (which the character needed to carry) when Abby was about to kill Dina at that point I was "just **** do it, I want this **** to be over" she didn't, and that's when i found out this is a new age torture technique. The game just overstay and I mean OVERSTAY its welcome, too long for too little, only shred of emotion I felt besides frustration was when Alice the dog dies, truly didn't deserved :(, LISTEN TO ME STOP CRYING OVER WHO KILLED WHO, BECAUSE BELIEVE, IN THIS GAME EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE DEAD, and goddamn they sure feel that way.

    TL DR: The (in)famous sex scene with Abby and the other dude (not memorable, and apparently important.) represent in a beautiful way, the reality of this, we are this strong person getting pounded, bend over and just going to town by someone who simply do not give a **** (literally dude cried over some **** after killing dozen innocent people he said "nah" and tried to escape from his mistakes, then kill his friend? comrade? and Abby (the people to obtuse to admit this **** sucks and payed critics.) just forgive me because Love :3.

    All the hype about the game didn’t worth it. I just disappointed that so many people from Naughty Dog spent their time to made this crap. Beautiful animation, awesome details, but totally disappointing and boring gameplay, awful story and no choices in the end. I hate the fact, that I can’t kill damn Abby. And can’t refund this “game” - it’s more fun to watch it on YouTube then play.

Why did The last of us part 2 win the game of the year awards when you have really good games such as ghost of tushima, doom eternal, cyberpunk 2077, hades, animal crossing new horizons, Spider-Man miles morales and the most anticipated video game demon souls.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After playing and beating TLOU2 I came to the conclusion that I can never get excited for anything else again. Thinking that naughty dog was about to release an absolute banger I played it and my god that was 23 hours of pure misery. That ending has left the worst taste in my mouth far worse then Game of Thrones. Ellie was so unlikable in this game opposed to the last, Dani I think is one of the worst written characters in the history of fiction being told. Jesse was an awesome character whom they get rid of a little less then halfway through the game. I’m not gonna rag on Joel aside from the fact that him following into the church is almost a direct contradiction to everything Joel told Ellie in the first game. The only part of the entire story I liked was how they tied Abby into the fireflies and why she killed Joel (although I didn’t like her killing Joel) the next naughty dog game I will not preorder I’ll have to wait for it to come out before I consider purchasing one of their titles again. I really hoped some people enjoyed it but 3/5 of my friends who have beat the game have borderline hated the ending and the entire story. I thought people were overreacting to the games story before I had beat it but I’ve seriously never been so disappointed, crushed and sad in my entire life by a game being so utterly ridiculous.… Expand

    There are major retcons/reframing of the end of the first game which the writers expect you to just forget about. Terrible pacing and some cringey dialogue. Side characters are nowhere near as interesting as in the first game.

    A main character has a ridiculous character model given the games’ world which ruins immersion. Not to mention terribly misleading, immoral marketing of the game which sells the game as something resembling what fans want, only to pull the rug from under them in the worst way.

In this game you are the hunter. If there is any horror, it's you. The whole game is about a quest for revenge. In doing so, you will butcher countless humans. There are still some infected (zombies) here and there, but they are more like random critters, not at all the main focus.

    (2) This is the main problem. You play as various characters, but they are all detestable, including Ellie. I've never hated main characters that much before. If it was a movie it would be alright perhaps. But sticking such long hours commanding a character that you hate on a quest that you reject makes enjoying the game impossible. I still watched the story to the end, and believe me, it only gets worse. In the last hour of the game, I was like, are you for real !!!

    (3) As others commented, the game has a lot of political messages here and there. As a mature individual I don't care, but the problem is with influenceable kids playing the game. And no matter what the rating is, kids will always play all kind of games. Then it becomes a problem what they are being told.

    I believe this game killed the franchise. The only way they could release another game in this series is by moving completely away from this horrible cast.    … Expand

TLOU joins StarWars, GoT, Ghostbusters 2016 as once great tiles ruined by sequels and subsequent revivals. the story is all over the place, same old revenge plot used a million times, people say the graphics the only good thing about this game but even that is lackluster, TLOU2 is too graphically, dark, gloomy and edgy, compare that to the giraffe scene in The last of us, where the message was "it may be a zombie apocalypse, but we do what we do to survive and find happiness in little things." This game is a chore to play and just when you thought in the end ,you would have the satisfaction of killing the villain to avenge the character that made the original good, you get a "change of heart" trope thrown at you. For me, the plot is important, the study of characters, but the graphics in my opinion are in last place. I expected more from the game, and the developers just spat in the soul of the players.
