    O jogo conseguiu atingir seu objetivo, que era de trazer uma experiência extremamente real, fazendo com que você sinta tudo o que os personagens estão sentido no momento, tendo jogabilidade e gráficos muito superiores ao primeiro game dentre outras evoluções e melhorias.     The story was a work of art for me. A genius masterpiece of a level I have never experienced before through the video game medium. I hope other AAA titles can learn from this game, as I believe it brings the entire gaming medium to a new level not previously achieved.

    The graphics, sounds, atmosphere, details, environments were all flawless. The game play took the core loops of the first (which were excellent) and improved upon them. The real magic of this game lies in the story however. I have never felt more connected or personally involved in the stories of a cast of video game characters. By the end of the game - Ellie, Abbey, Lev, Dina, Yara were all very real people to me.

    I cannot recommend this game enough. You are doing yourself a massive disservice if you skip over this title. To date is stands as the pinnacle of gaming experiences, and I cannot wait for more games to follow suit at this caliber.    … Expand

TLOU 2 is the best example of a game that is more than just entertaining, it's a game that makes you think and stays in your memory for a long time. Which is in itself, something that few games in the triple A industry can do. And it is for the same reason that this game has been review-bombed, for the simple fact that only with a playthrough and the hatred we feel for the death of Joel, this game cannot be reviewed. You have to at least play and think for a long time to understand that this game is as good as its predecessor.     What a beautiful game, man. I’m still thinking about it. Played it till i could barely see straight to get to the end. What a difficult thing PTSD, anger, thoughts of justice and revenge are when you’re just trying to let it go and be happy. All the people that got hurt along the way. I dont think Abby And Lev survived that fight regardless. Giving it a 10 on the fact that ive not played aWhat a beautiful game, man. I’m still thinking about it.     For real, you need to have a lot of maturity to be able to understand what is this game trying to tell. it isnt a game about revenge, put that in your mind. its a apocalyptic world that anyone have a heroic death or is a pyschopath. everyone haves loves and feelings, and you just cant be blind by the hate.

    I've never played a game that made me feel so much after completing the entire experience. Not all of those feelings were good, and often times it was hard to progress because of emotionally difficult decisions or sheer terror because of the threat of infected. At the end of it all however, it was was well worth it.     Incredible. I am speechless and an emotional wreck. With both part 1 and part 2, this story line has to be by far the best. The emotional and character growth throughout the game is so complex! The graphics and the attention to detail from start to finish are insane. Everyone involved in creating The Last of Us should be extremely proud of themselves, no more could have been done. Perfection.

    The Last of Us 2 seems to have divided gamers - like marmite, you either love it or hate it. I certainly fall into the "love it" category, but I didn't to begin with.

    The story took a bizarre turn.. one that was difficult to swallow at first. But the game found a way to gradually and subtly change your whole perspective on the story, the characters and ultimately what is right and wrong or that blurred grey area in-between.

    Having spent some time reading through the negative reviews.. they all have the resounding tone of grief. People are not grieving a poor story-line, but grieving that the storyline did not map out how it was "supposed to" in their head. Good stories are supposed to make you feel something - and this game did exactly that. However, making individuals feel negative emotions from playing your game will not yield the same 10/10 ratings that you got from the first game.
    Let's not forget, we effectively doomed the world to suffer a zombie infected apocalypse when a cure was within reach.. yet that felt pretty good, Joel was the hero, right? No, he wasn't, far from it.

    The gameplay was nothing short of flawless, keeping you in suspense at all times whilst improving on the AI and combat of the previous game.

This game is truly a master piece of story telling you will get the point of view from different character at a different pace with will add to the greatness at the story. The relationship between Ellie and Joel went on as we would have expected when the last of us one ended it’s sad that people couldn’t come to terms with Joel’s death in the all grand scheme of things I felt that it fit and gave the game a proper fair well. Abby and Ellie will those character that you’ll remember for a life time great job at the people at naughty dog! Sorry my English is bad it’s not my second language. I could play this games over and over again and never get bored. The pace of the story is set right from the off and the action begins from Joel’s death to when you fight Abby all the way at the end, it was a real rollercoaster and it made me want to play the game more and more. It was simply a masterpiece the development team did a superb job.

    The game itself is so clean and the environment is so crisp and it looks absolutely amazing and it matches much to what the developers had promised us fans. Much to my surprise I don’t understand why this game is getting so much hate. Sure it might not be the game we all wanted (I sure wanted this level of game though) but it was the game we all needed. I hope TLOU3 is definitely the next project Naughty Dog are whipping up because I can’t wait to play as Ellie my favorite games character ever. It's supposed to be hard. There are no happy endings in this post apocalyptic world.

    The gameplay was leagues ahead of it's predecessor. Rarely does combat feel so smooth. It often looks as if each move you make is scripted. Dodging and striking and running all happen exactly as you want them to, and the kills are always satisfying. My only real critique is not big enough to drop my score from 5 stars. The lootingnand exploration can be excessive. Skill and gear progression is based on exploration and looting. If you don't look in every corner you will miss out on abilities, weapons or upgrades.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’m one of the people who saw all the leaks, both true and false ones, and was completely turned off from buying the game. Not to mention the divisiveness of fans even after release. I didn’t want to tarnish my memory of the amazing first game.

    However, due to being bored because of the pandemic, and seeing most of the negative reviews from fans and Youtubers were based off not getting over Joel’s death and straight up bigotry, I decided to buy the game. The only 2 things I regret are looking at the leaks and not getting the Special Edition on launch day. This game is the greatest game I have ever played. So much so that when I heard about the review bombing happening to this game, I felt an obligation to make an account on here and give it my review.

    The technical side is pure perfection. This is a next-gen title on a 7 year old piece of hardware. Very little to no glitches at all during my 2 playthroughs of this game. My only complaints are that it’s 30fps and it’s pretty taxing on the PS4, so make sure to give it a clean before playing this amazing game. Graphics and animations are pretty life-like, both during gameplay and cutscenes. The acting is also top-notch. Ashley Johnson, Laura Bailey, Troy Baker and Co. deserve all the awards for best performances in a video game. Along with the set design and the perfect direction of scenes, this game blew anything we’ve had ever outta the water.

    Gameplay is also amazing. If you loved the first TLOU’s gameplay, you’ll love this. The crafting has been expanded, the gameplay is a lot more smooth, stealth and combat is way more satisfying, human, stalker, and dog AI is a lot smarter, level design a lot better (best I’ve ever seen tbh) and the bigger variety of types of enemies really adds to the tension of the game. The Encounters here make the first game’s look like a walk in the park. Puzzles are a lot more complex than find the ladder/plank/pallet/dumpster too, so that’s neat, too.

    World building is a lot better now, too. There only 4 games where I pay close attention to the collectibles; TLOU, Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy, and this game. Remember the Ish notes from the first game? Now you have multiple interesting note “threads” throughout the game, such as Boris, Jules, and many more! The cards and coins also add to the characterization of Ellie and Abby, so it feels great collecting them too!

    Now, for the meat of this game, the story. If you don’t wanna read my whole review on it, just know that I think this is perhaps one of the greatest stories told in any medium, and will be a turning point for storytelling in video games. The story is very dark, and is about the cycle of violence and how tragedy can bring out the worst in people. The characters are extremely human in how they deal with these events. They don’t always make the most rational choices, but they choose to do what they do based on they’re own emotions, and this leads the 2 protagonists of this game, Ellie and Abby, to make grave decisions that doom themselves and the people around them. People tend to forget that to humanize a character isn’t just showing that they have fears, or that they have families and people they love, but also showing that they make morally questionable choices that make them seem like a bad person in other peoples‘ eyes. Doing so isn’t demonizing them, it’s showing how perspective can change EVERYTHING.

    Without spoiling to much, the parallels between Ellie and Abby, Abby and Joel, & Ellie and Lev are extremely well done. They are all truly 2 sides of the same coin. Empathy is the name of the game, and the moment I started to allow yourself to empathize with both sides, is the moment everything clicks. The moment I realized that Joel’s killers aren’t “evil” hunters, and are just as guilty/innocent as Ellie and co. by the end of the game, is the moment I realized this is something special. Ellie’s story is about her downfall, and Abby’s is about her redemption. Both have to deal with the consequences of their actions.

    It takes the first game’s moral ambiguity to a whole ‘nother level. There truly are no good or bad side. Save for the Rattlers, every faction has a protagonist or an ally to the player. this helps you see their perspective on the world and understand them.

    This write-up has gone on for too long, so I’m going to end it with this: BUY THIS GAME, and BUY IT AGAIN ON THE PS5. I cannot recommend it enough. Want a next-gen experience right now? Well, here it is. Just be ready to get you heart crushed, though, especially if you’re as invested in the world as I am. This is personal my best game of the generation and probably of all-time.

It's a next gen game and still is running smoothly on the Ps4. This is my favourite game series and it deserved better ratings. There are some critic points like (SPOILER!!!)

    how Joel died or the flashbacks. But they had to do something, that hits your emotions, without anything special happening the game would be boring. What were you guys expecting?     I don't think a "perfect" game will ever exist, but this is as close as a game could ever get!
    The vast environment, graphics, soundtrack, combat style and gameplay, the crafting, the story, the voice acting!!..
    Everything about this game is just top tier. I'm glad ND didn't go full "fan service" regarding the story, otherwise we could have had just a "mediocre" narration, and a    I don't think a "perfect" game will ever exist, but this is as close as a game could ever get!

    This game is a master-crafted work of art. From the largest of environments to the smallest of details, the artists and developers ensured that nearly every aspect of the world created received a surprising amount of attention. The world that they visually created feels lived in and helps the player feel grounded. The movements of the characters, the npcs, and how assets around both alter when interacted with is phenomenal and is often overlooked in most games. Examples of this: the way snow, dirt, mud, water moves when coming into contact. The way the aforementioned gets onto the characters' clothing and persons. How the environment acts in general: streams of water falling down are altered depending on wind physics, reflections appearing on reflective surfaces like walls, tvs, metal piping, zippers moving when in motion, clothing moving with the wind. All of this comes together in harmony to masterfully present a truly realised world that is believable and a joy to experience.

    Story:
    No spoilers. I'll say that the story is not as tight or singularly focused as the first. That's not a bad thing, but it might be if a player is going into the game expecting a story that is very similar to the first. There are flashbacks and whilst they do provide relevant backstory and are of interest, I can see how some might find the placement of the flashbacks to be a bit jarring at times and may not be as cohesive to the story-telling as one might like. Overall the story is a good one that invokes a lot of emotions. It is rife with depressing, difficult moments along with moments of lightheartedness and humour. In general and by the end, you do end up feeling a connection with the characters of the story. Even the minor ones, and even the ones who you thought you never would.

    This is a wonderful experience that took me nearly 38 hours to complete as I, a lover of the first game, enjoy the world of The Last of Us and don't mind taking my time with Ellie and the gang. I definitely recommend.    … Expand

The game starts with the usual magnificent perspective, that of Joel and Ellie, the protagonists of the first chapter. From the graphics, to the shooting system, to the ruined setting that highlights the beauty of nature, every clash is breathtaking, every twist unpredictable, the certain motivation is perfectly conveyed by Naughty Dog, with that death of Joel that is not at all dignified, it's not what we would have liked, but this is the strong point of the scene. We're angry at everyone and everything and we have the strength to move on. But when Abby enters the theater, then everything changes. We go over to the side of a character who pushes us to empathise. If the aim had been to make us love or almost love that character, then the story would have had to unfold in a different way: a comfortable pretty girl, a story from the beginning that leads us to the not-so-brutal killing of Joel. However, The last of us is an uncomfortable product: not by what we want, it doesn't seek ephemeral success, but transcends the game dimension making Abby's one (big) parenthesis to open up another perspective. So that we can question ourselves, without distinguishing right from wrong. At the end of this journey the loss of the two fingers is very heavy for Ellie: on the one hand it's negative, because she abandons the guitar and Joel, on the other side of the coin however (and this is the recurring theme) abandoning Joel means to forgive him (true founding theme of the adventure) and go on. Towards a new light. And also Abby is looking for a new light, together with Lev and after completing his journey of redemption.



    The last of us part 2 in short is a product that transcends consumerism, and even if not the poignant narrative beauty of the first, manages to reach extraordinary emotional heights, almost a Picasso painting with a fourth dimension in the first battle between Abby and Ellie.



    It's uncomfortable, and devastating. It's not what the boorish vulgar, superficial consumer wanted, but an intimate transcription of how things went after the first, the only way they could go, as if they had written themselves. Making this The last of us Part II is the perfect complementary PART of the first chapter, and it is a title that paints in a shocking way, opening a new level of depth in the videogame world, a glimpse of both inner and outer reality.     This game achieves a story unlike any told in any other game. Naturally, the new and unknown has scared many who have linked their identities go limited and binary game play. If anything, the impassioned negative reception from many who never even played shows how deeply this game cut to the core.

    Characters:

    Most people hate that you have to play as abby because she is the antagonist in this game but i think it was a good idea to make us play as her because it shows the story from 2 different points of view and lets the player decide who's the good guy and who's the bad guy, since neither of them are entirely good or bad. The actors and designers have done an amazing job with bringing these characters to life. I can't think of a game where characters emotions seem as realistic as this, during the scene at the end when Joel wants to cry but tries to hold back while talking to ellie about what he did at the hospital was arguably Troy Bakers best performance in this game. I think that this game does an amazing job with LGBTQ+ representation, unlike other games with LGBTQ+ characters, this accurately shows that they have to deal with homophobia and transphobia and shows that different LGBTQ+ people experience it in different ways (for Ellie and Dina, it was only verbal abuse but for Lev it was an attempted murder)

    Story:

    A lot of people didn't like the ending but i do understand why they did it this way. In part one Joel says to ellie "you have no idea what loss is". Now ellie has lost everything and she lost it all for nothing. Most people were upset that Ellie didn't kill Abby but I think this shows that she realizes that revenge will solve nothing because it won't bring Joel back and if she killed Abby, then how is she any better than Abby is.

    Graphics and aesthetics:

    The game is absolutely beautiful and i love all the tiny details that are easy to miss like blood diluting in puddles or the animals that show up at random points in the game or even that slight film grain and blur in the distance. While playing, i can't even tell you how many times i had to stop, just to look at how good the game looks. Gameplay:

    I've heard so many people argue that "linear gaming is dead" because open world games offer so much more than just the main story, but this game proves that linear games can be better than any open world game. The level design is done so well that there is so much to explore and even though it is linear, there are so many different ways to get through the levels.

    Weapons:

    My favorite weapon additions have to be the silencers and abbys crossbow (I would like to be able to use a crossbow as ellie but i do prefer using ellies recurve bow) on the subject of bows, i want to mention that i love how they have improved the bow physics from the first game. Aiming with the bow in the first game was way too easy because it literally showed you the exact path the arrow will travel, in this game, until you attach a sight onto the bow, you need to judge distance by yourself. I also like how in new game+ you get all your weapons from the previous playthrough from the first day in Seattle. In the first game, even with new game+ you had to find the weapons again. I especially like this because now i can use the silenced smg in Seattle. Accessibility: Lots of games have had accessibility features but they were usually limited to alternate controls and a colourblind setting, or you would be required to buy more hardware like alternate controllers. This game takes accessibility to an entire new level and I've heard that a lot of blind people are now able to play it. I think that TLOU2s accessibility features should be the new standard for all games because gaming should be for everyone.

    Conclusion:

    The last of us part 2 isn't just a good game but it exceeds the expectations and limits of what a game can be. It's also one of the most important games to ever be made. I've been a gamer since i was a kid and I've played hundreds of different games. The last of us part 2 is by far the best game i have ever played.    … Expand

Yes, some events will make you mad, but that doesn't mean the game isn't worth. The game isn't for everyone, but I feel sorry for those who let the leaks keep them from playing it.     Extremely overhated game. I can understand that there were some minor narrative problems but the main issue is that People is angry because the game aint what they wanted and not neccesarily a bad game.

    Such a great game! It's basically a continuation of the first game. A second playthrough makes it even better as you get to understand pieces of the game that make more sense once you finish the story.

    Fantastic game all around. I found the story to be very compelling. The gameplay has evolved quite well since the last game. The visuals are simply the best I've seen in a AAA game. This is both the best game I've ever played and one of my favorite games I've ever played.
