    As a huge fan of the first game, I was filled with anticipation for this one from the moment the first trailer dropped. It was really disappointing to hear how much backlash the game was getting from users upon release but, I made a point to not read any of the reviews or look into any spoilers (something I normally don't do.) I finished the game yesterday and i'm so glad I approached it the way I did. I'm generally a casual gamer. I play most games for the story and, to me, a great game is one that leaves you feeling like you don't know what else to do with your life after finishing it. The way you put down the controller as the credits roll and you don't want to do anything else but pick it back up and play it again because I just can't handle the feeling of the journey being over, the dreadful feeling of having to come back to reality and live my actual life. That was certainly a feeling that The Last of Us Pt. 2 gave to me. I thought that everything about story, the characters, the pacing, the way two different stories converged into a heartbreaking climax was all just wonderful. The combat hadn't changed a whole lot from the first game but, if it ain't broke don't fix it. There were some small changes but, I thought that all of them were positive changes. The game is graphically fantastic and there are some really beautiful and really beautifully dark locations. If you've read this far you know that some people have had a problem with some of the narrative and the themes of the story but, we are all different people and, i'm here to give my personal opinion. I've never posted a review on a game like this in my whole life and, after having the experience I did playing this game, I feel hurt to see people trash it. Hopefully reading this review will help someone out there have the same kind of awesome experience that I had playing this game.… Expand

You can clearly see how much love went into making this game because of all the little details like for example the physik of the ropes (they interact with the arms and the guns of the character) or the snow which melts from the blood of the enemies and so on. I really enjoyed playing this game. There are so many cutscenes and dialogues which are just optional and the stories told from the papers lying around are just as awsome as in part 1. The combination of stealth, gunfighting and discovering also really made the experience great and never boring. I also really apreciated the story. I loved it that there wasn't even a real stereotypical villain who is just evil because he is evil. The perspective of Abby also made sense. I don't understand why people are just hating Abby, even though she lost more than Ellie. She lost all of her friends and her dad, while Ellie "just" lost Joel.… Expand

    What a game. One of my favorite ps4 exclusives of all time alongside god of war and the uncharted series. If you don’t like gore stuff I wouldn’t recommend you this tho

    If you like the first one you undoubtedly need to play the second, the reviews are accurate, it is definitely a 10/10 masterpiece. I’m pretty much done, just the epilogue left, and it was an incredible experience.

    I liked it better than the first, and the only thing keeping me from replaying it immediately is Iron Man VR comes out in 2 days and I really should build up my VR legs.

    Game of the year for 2020 so far. This was an emotional roller coaster and I can't wait to go back for a second playthrough. The combat encounters were a blast and the story was incredible. It will make you angry at times but the way it all comes together in the end is incredible. My only complaint with it is that the pacing slows down at a few points which makes it seem like it could'veGame of the year for 2020 so far.     One of the Best Games Ever made. Sure the Story is Not for everyone But to be able to make me care for a person which killed one of the most iconic ps4 caracters.. i mean i hated abby in the beginning But at the end i didnt want that anybody of both die.. masterpiece

The Last of Us Part II picks up 4 years after the original game, with Ellie - now 19 - and Joel well settled into their roles in everyday Jackson life. For fear of spoiling it for others, I will not go into detail about the story of TLOU2 here, but I will say that it isI fell in love with Ellie and Joel in The Last of Us, a beautifully crafted game that left us with an ambiguous ending. The Last of Us Part II picks up 4 years after the original game, with Ellie - now 19 - and Joel well settled into their roles in everyday Jackson life. For fear of spoiling it for others, I will not go into detail about the story of TLOU2 here, but I will say that it is well worth playing!

    The gameplay is much improved and more dynamic and less same-y than the first. There are some over-done mechanics in the game however (falling through the floor again?!), but it isn’t enough to warrant much detraction.

    The graphics & sound are both breathtaking and unnerving at the same time, complementing the tone of the game perfectly.

    The narrative direction & pacing taken in the game revealed bit-by-bit how the main characters came to be how they were. The way the story was delivered kept me wondering (I had thankfully avoided spoilers), it broke my heart, inspired anger, hatred, rage, but also provided me with moments that inspired love and joy as well. The careful, deliberate and intricate inter-weaving of narrative threads coming together in TLOU2 enables the player to see from multiple perspectives, encourages empathy, and gives a deeper insight into complex characters and the deep emotions that has driven their (sometimes questionable) choices. Like the overall tone of the game, you are often faced with discomfort from the actions of the characters –at the end of the day, however, they are human, not perfect.

    I would have liked to have a bit more choice at pivotal moments in the game (particularly towards the end), as I think it would have had a greater impact to have to think through the consequences of my own actions. Then again, I am not certain that the outcome would be as powerful as it was. Just like the original, this is not a “feel good” game, but a thoughtful one with a compelling story to tell.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. tecnicamente o jogo é perfeito, mas em relação a história ela é meio paia e os personagens são horrorosos, a ellie é completamente descontruída nesse jogo, e se torna uma personagem extremamente irritante, os personagens nao tem personalidade e nem desenvolvimento, a abby não tem personalidade alguma, mas ela não é tao mesquinha e irritante como a ellie, mesmo após ter zerado 3 vezes, nenhum personagem me cativou e não consegui criar simpatia por ninguém, o joel nesse jogo é um pouco diferente, na parte em que ele morre, ele simplesmente confia em uma estranha e diz seu nome e do tommy, ele faz o completo contrario do que ele ensina no primeiro game, no primeiro game ele diz para jamais confiar nos outros e nesse game ele faz papel de trouxa, assim como a ellie o pouco tempo de tela que ele teve foi o suficiente para desconstruir ele também.… Expand

Le uniche pecche sono alcuni dubbi che non vengo spiegati alla fine ma che verranno probabilmente risolti con un dlc (in cui io spero), e il modo in cui viene trattato il tema del gioco è abbastanza complicata da non essere apprezzato da certi BM che vogliono un gioco spara spara senza significato (ma alla fine questi sono gusti ed è la parte più soggettiva di una valutazione, solo non capisco come possa essere considerata spazzatura da così tanto persone). Poi ho sentito di gente che si lamentava del gameplay simile al primo capitola, partendo dal fatto che il gameplay è stato migliorato, soprattutto il combat system che risulta più complicato rispetto al primo in cui bastava spammare quadrato, ma poi che ti aspetti? è normale che il gameplay sia simile, è il continuo dello stesso gioco, se volevi un gameplay diverso ti prendevi un altro gioco. Everyone thinks they are entitled to things turning out a certain way. How about they go make a video game of their own then! No? I didn’t think so. I thought it was amazing how I went from absolutely hating Abby to wanting her survival at the end after experiencing her part of the story. People who give this game a 0 either have never played it before, or their brains are too small to understand the complex layers of this story. It must suck to live your life as a hateful person, always looking for the negatives out of life.… Expand

Tbh you could right a whole godamn analysis essay on this game because of how many little details and parts you need to do more then just understand on the surface. This game is so worth the money and was the first ever game I preordered. So many bad reviews you see on the internet all come from dumb people who saw the leaks and rated the game based on it. I want to address the things that people picked out to hate on. 1.Joels death:
    People were mad that their beloved character from the first game was brutally murdered and said that he should have died a “heroes death”. One thing we need to remember is that JOEL was NEVER A HEROE, he murdered all the good people, the actual “heroes” who were trying to make a cure!!! And story wise it just wouldn’t have been as compelling if it had been another character that made ellie set out on her quest for revenge. If you pay attention to what Joel says before Abby beats him, you know that he knew this day was bound to come after all the bad things he’s done. 2. Feminism being “shoved down people’s throats”: I really don’t know what to say to people who had this opinion. Of course everyone’s allowed to have their own opinion but WTF people. I’ve been around the internet reading reviews and watching them. What I’ve found that people who complained about this were all straight white males. Here is me summarizing the comments people have made:
    A. Why do you need a lesbian. Why are they shoving this down our throats B. Same as above for trans people
    C. omg CAN I JSUT POINT OUT ALL THE MALE CHARCATERS DIE , someone needs to point it out!!!!!!

    Here’s what I have to say:
    These people do exist in our society, so they’re not shoving anything down your throats. This is called representing minorities. This IS NOT A POLITICAL AGENDA. Apparently MAKING S FEMALE CHARCATER WHO are BUILT MUSCULARLY IS ALSO MAKING A POLITICAL STATEMENT. The game even explains WHY SHE TRAINED HERSELF TO BE THE WAY SHE IS. BUT NO ONE PAYED ATTENTION BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO BUSY HATING ON HER. In conclusion, because this game doesn’t follow the conventional video game characters aka white men bashing **** it gets hate. And it’s just disgusting that people would go so far as to send death threats to Neil druckman because they didn’t get what they wanted. That’s just **** childish. I had to get that little rant out of the way but now I will talk about what I loved about the game. 1.Graphics and gameplay
    I found myself constantly amazed with the graphics and the gameplay. I would even make my family members watch me play for 5 seconds so they could see how realistic everything looked. You can tel so much hard work was put into making everything. The scenery was fantastic and the gameplay was definitely an upgrade from the first game. They worked similarly but small things like being able to go prone, hide in grass and even perform and jump kill made the experience so much more enjoyable because it pushed the stealth element even more!! God my favorite thing is Playing the game again because the better and more familiar you get with the game the more fun it is creeping around and killing your enemies quietly. That was a 10/10 for me. 2.Story
    I didn’t give this game a 10/10 because of the story. However this was not because you had to play as Abby. Ithought that playing as Abby added so much more to the game. I remember hating her so much when I first started playing as her , I even considered not playing. But the more you played as her, the more you find the parallels between her and Ellie. At the end When ellie set out to kill Abby the second time, I found myself saying that I didn’t want her to die. We were put in her shoes and we realized what motivated her, what made her happy and what made her sad. So I grew to love her as a person, her character growth was something that made me feel warm, especially when she said that Lev was her person. However, the game was a little dragged on mainly because of the closer look we had of the conflict between the WLF and the seraphites. I found that it didn’t really enhance the story or the main characters much. The whole part where lev returned to find his mom felt unnecessary and while fun to play, really distracted me from the main story. That said the game also strayed a little from survival horror and became a lot liek an action adventure. I remembered saying to myself out loud a lot “is this UNCHARTED??!” So for me the story was like a 8/10

    Overall, I really loved the game even though some parts were hard to sit through. I really don’t think you should judge this game before playing it yourself. This game really takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and when you finish the game you might just like me feel a completely different feeling from when you began. Give it a shot and I promise you won’t regret it.    … Expand

It is brutal and to be honest, to dark and violent at times, but it is layered with memorable characters even to the point of Naughty Dog putting players in the "shoes" of what would be considered the antagonist. ItThe Last of Us 2 is an amazing game. It is gorgeous with deep story telling that hits on some very intense issues. This game is a continuation of the story from the first game. It is brutal and to be honest, to dark and violent at times, but it is layered with memorable characters even to the point of Naughty Dog putting players in the "shoes" of what would be considered the antagonist. It was a risky move but it pays off. Gone is Ellie's young teen life, and now there is a world she inhabits where actions have consequences. Very few games take these kinds of risks and it pays off.… Expand

More like a 9.75 because of some spongey bosses and the narrative does jerk to a hault in the middle of the game (necessary for the story but annoying in the moment). Ultimately the game picks back up when the switch happens. Anyone saying this game is below a 6 or 7 is insane. Even if you hate the story the gameplay and craft are exceptional.

    The story is tough but very impactful if you are open to it. Beautiful voice acting and character moments. The boldest game I can recall playing. A lot of bad takes out there so I felt the need to do some small part in evening the rating out    … Expand

    The world of The Last Of Us is filled with horror. Nobody comes out happy on the other side.
    I 100 % support and love the story decisions that naughty dog has chosen.

    Last of us is a unique game and without equivalent today.
    Last of Us can speak to the hearts of the men and women who play it.
    Last of us is a game that questions you and exposes you
    Will I make the same choice as Elijah?
    Will I go so far in violence and hatred for revenge?
    Can we just accept everything because this world is cruel and merciless to anyone?

    I do not have the answer to these questions but in any case I asked myself. And that is, for me, the real success of this game: Transcending the video game to directly reach the emotions of the player.

    Let's talk technical: The game is the most beautiful of its generation currently.
    And more particularly the animations. They are impressive in truth and intensity. I invite you to bring your attention to the faces and hands of the characters, The detail provided is stunning, you can feel each emotion of the characters in the expression of their gaze.

    The expression of Elijah when she kills an enemy or gives a blow, when she looks in the mirror, when she speaks with other characters, all these details allow to fully appreciate the care and work performed on this game.

    The sound environment is a central element of the game as was that of the 1 ... It is sometimes discreet and sober, we simply hear the wind and nothing else and sometimes it plays the role of heartbeat of the game. play with our nerves.

    The gameplay is mastered, it is version 2.0 of the gameplay of last of us 1 and does the job completely. Let's talk about the angry subject: The scenario.

    For me the scenario is good because the message is coherent and it brings a real questioning, it takes us out of our comfort zone and it tries to disturb the player in his certainties.

    To fully understand the script, you have to understand the double narration put in place by Neil Druckmann.
    We talk about hatred, revenge in a cruel and merciless world, where anyone can lose their life at the bend of an alley and without any form of greatness, just cold and brutal death.

    And we (the player), we must accompany a character in the worst side of humanity because in the end, who is good or bad in this type of world?
    The concern of the scenario is the rhythm which is given to it.

    The second act is, in my opinion, "heavy" because the element of surprise has disappeared.
    Nevertheless, it allows you to discover a character that you want to appreciate despite the atrocities of which she is capable.

    And the genius of this game is there, the paradox of characters full of hatred and cruelty for those who set out on their way but who are ready to give their lives to protect their friends, their families.

    And the game pushes us to enter the minds of these characters, even if it means getting lost.

    For the various concerns related to the rhythm and the backups (oh if this automatic backup is replayed !!), I put the note of 9/10. This is my reason note.

    For all the emotion that this game gave me and all the pleasure I had to find Elie, Joël and new faces, I put a note from the heart: 20/20.

    Now, I would like to raise a problem: the review bombing.

    Last of us Part 2 unfairly suffered a negative review bombing on metacritic

    We have the right to hate a game, we have the right to resent it because it has disappointed us but we cannot harm a game for the wrong reasons… and it's the wrong reasons everyone knows them: Trolls without much human value have expressed their hatred against LGBT communities.

    As a reminder, the game contains kissing scenes between Elie and Dina and in the world of last of us you can see flags and lgbt tags.

    All this "LGBT" content combined, this represents 5 min… 5 MIN OVER 30 HOURS OF GAME !!

    I'm tired of seeing our society governed by trolls, homophobes, racists ... They are invading video games.

    As a passionate player, I cannot tolerate that we dirty the work of a studio, that we destroy the message of a work and that we obscure the theme of a game just because of mediocrity… I make you a solemn request: Play Last of Us Part 2 while being invested and let yourself be transported / MAKE YOUR OWN OPINION!     The gameplay combat-stealth arena loop got in the way of the story once or twice, other than that i was completely blown away by presentation and story. It's fun, yet depressing.
    Bleak, yet enjoyable.

If you're complaining that the flashbacks are too much to keep up with, maybe stick to third grade reading level media. Everybody wanted a happy go lucky fan service filler episode, but that's not what this series does, and nothing we've seen before should make us think that. The characters deal with the consequences of their actions. The parallels between our two main characters are impressively executed, and I love the story they told. The ending undoubtedly left me feeling sad, but that's because it's a sad story. They succeeded in telling the story they set out to tell. This doesn't mean that I don't wish there was more of the game to play, even after 25 hours.… Expand

    Now to be fair the much talked about pacing issues with the game are accurate... confusion can arise from jumping to and from flashbacks, and the game drags in a few areas. The gameplay also hasnt quite evolved over the original to the degree in which i had hoped. Not insignificant quibbles but also not significant enough to detract from my overall experience. Its tough to hold those things against the developer when the rest of the game exhibits such an embarrassingly high level artistry in graphics, animation, sound design and especially the borderline oscar worthy voice acting. This game reeks of love.

    I suspect that TLOU2 is a game that will be talked about for a long time and I’d bet that many people that are currently critical of it will someday warm to it. It may not be the best story ever told in this medium, but imo it is by far the most courageous. Kudos Naughty Dog.    … Expand

    Great story blended with finiliar but improved recipes of the old game. Length surprised “25-30 hours!” me and as well as many moments in the game as well. I absolutely loved it as in the old one it made me feel all sorts of emotions. Absolutely great game.

This part of the game could have been a DLC in my opinion. The ending wasn't that great, I think if there was an option to choose either to kill Abby or let her life would improve the ending 10 times more, I think the only thing that this game is missing on is the value and the attachment to the story and characters of the game, An idea would be if Tommy was killed in front of Joel and Ellie, so Ellie had to track Joel down and help him to his destiny but then choose if Abby would die and take care of the kid or let Abby live and let the kid remember this moment. WE would also like more if we could have seen more of whats Ellies life is all about, The flashbacks were you played as Ellie with Tommy and Joel were so good that if the game had a lot of those and combine together to one story it would have been the greatest story game of 2020.
    It isn't easy to make a game and I hate ppl hating on it bc of example pewdiepie didn't like it (Famous Youtuber), This game has a lot of good reviews, but it's overlooked by all the hate from Youtube that some famous Youtubers had made for this game, This game is one of the best-built game in mechanics, graphics, looks, solving puzzles, and well-made games out there, but the story is the part where it really hits this game bad.

I was very upset when Abby killed Joel, it felt bad and even worse because I was controlling the killer. I hated Abby from the beginning, but as the story continued, I came to understand the motives for Abby, and man, she grew on my, what an amazing character, the ability to see the two sides for the story was something I really didn't expect, and when it all tied up in the theater confrontation, at that point, I realized I was playing a real masterpiece. The people that hate the game because Joel died, I mean, I think I get it, but come on, real life sucks too, if you want a happy ending, maybe this game is not for you, this is a deep story about revenge and love, I couldn't expect less from ND. I love this game and I hope we can see more of Abby in the future.… Expand

It challenges you to empathize with someone you hate by putting you in their shoes. It is a challenge that could only be taken in interactive media. What Naughty Dog has done here is bold and challenging, which is why it has been so polarizing. But if you give it time, and just try to turn on that part in your smoothed over gamer brain that empathizes with people unlike yourself, it is extremely rewarding and thought provoking. A 10/10 simply because it pushes the medium of story telling in games forward.

    Masterpiece! The complexity, the visceral violence, the philosophical discussions, the mature and emotionally challenging themes. It's no wonder this game flew over so many people's heads. When creating something this intellectually stimulating, you're going to woosh a great number of people. I hope they eventually come to understand, but my hopes aren't high.

Some people have praised the game, giving it a 10/10 while on the other hand, people have been giving it a 5/10 or lower. They say it is SJW propaganda and “go woke go broke.” Here is my official review of the game and what I thought of it. Off the bat, I will say it is an 8.6/10. Though that may be subject to change once I play the game again. I do believe that this is more about losing things/loss and some revenge too.
    Let’s address the elephant in the room here. The story. Tons and tons of people say that the story sucks. I have to disagree with that. While at some points in the story it can be a little sucky (as when you first play Abby or near the end when Tommy is just very very crazy). Or the pacing may suck. The switching of day 3 from Ellie to Abby was kinda hard. It would probably be better if it was day 1 then day 1. This game also has its high moments. One of these moments is when Ellie is visiting Joel’s grave. You can feel all of Ellies’ sadness swelling within her. You could tell she is just filled with sadness at that very moment. The painstakingly slow walking away from the grave and Dina being with you there doesn’t help. Or once you’re being shot at and you have so many places to run your heart is just beating fast once Ellie is running. Or when she’s hiding trying to heal herself once you’re “safe.” You have to take chances in spilt moments. Or lastly once Abby sees the “Rat King”. The fear that fills you is terrifying. Just hearing that thing on you as you try to kill it.
    The scenery and world-building is just fantastic. You get so engrossed by it. You sometimes feel like you’re in that moment. When you’re riding Shimmer with Dina going through downtown Seattle or grungy boat moments with Ellie getting ever so closer to Owen. The pouring rain and harshness fills you with regret and somewhat of fear? But the sunny and carefree time of horse riding lifts your spirits. So much detail just went into the world-building. The crunching of snow and rustle of tall grass once you go prone is so nice.
    The gameplay is definitely better than the first game. The dodge button makes you feel like you’re actually dodging in real life. Sometimes I would find myself dodging along with Ellie. The crafting system is definitely way better. It just fits more with this game. Working at the workbench and seeing all the guns and upgrades is very nice. Though there so have been more attacking at the workbenches. It feels great just to upgrade your guns. Having more supplements and skills trees was something that felt strange but so refreshing. Having to go out of your way to find the skill trees and supplements just felt so nice once you finally got it. Climbing up ropes was fun but it didn’t happen too often.
    Second, to last I want to talk about the characters. While they did make some likable characters like Jesse, Own, and Abby. They did make some characters dislikeable like Dina and Ellie at the beginning. They made Ellie way too edgy at the start. I just didn’t really like Dina to be honest. At the end, they messed up Tommy. I understand that Joel was his brother but they made him way too crazy at the end. The characters kinda improved as there was more but also in some ways didn’t improve.
    Lastly, the end. The ending is something that will grow on others (like me), be an instant hit, or just not like it at all. Let’s get this out of the way, the game is about loss and some of revenge. You start to realize that even if you kill all these people Ellie won’t get Joel back. She has PTSD and is “stuck” with it. She wants to get revenge but in the end, she lost fingers, Joel, and Dina. That flashback was to show Ellie that Joel is just Joel. Joel was just him at that moment. Ellie most likely could see Joel and her relationship on Abby and Lev. She knew that killing Abby wouldn’t solve anything. She would just keep the cycle of violence that happens so so much in The Last of Us universe. You may feel anger first at for not killing Abby but you may grow to like it. Abby also can’t get back her father or her friends back. And even her first love. But yet she has Lev and maybe they could rebuild something there. Ellie playing the guitar that Joel gave her represents her trying to move on. She doesn’t want to be stuck in the past. Ellie feels regret for killing Mel and beating Nora. Ellie hates herself for not forgiving Joel until it was too late. Letting Abby live shows that Ellie can forgive herself. Abby feels regret for killing Joel as well. She thought she could feel better by killing Joel. She hates what she did because she ripped away what Ellie had with Joel just like how Joel ripped away what Abby had with her father.

    Gameplay, sound, animation, graphics are all 10/10. But that's not what people are here to read about. Honestly, this games story was thoughtful, innovative and unique. There are no "heroes" in this game, only flawed, realistic characters who sacrifice too much for revenge. This is a must play.

    This is one of the best game of this generation,of the ps4,of the console, game and of all time no matter what people say you have to play this game and make your own opinion. I enjoyed this game and the few negative point like the bad use of some characters are not enough to make this game bad. This is the the greatest masterpiece of naughty dog since uncharted 4.

    Masterpiece. Several days after completing the game, I can't stop thinking about the plot, the characters and the kind of world they are doomed to live in. How one's actions can have an everlasting impact on so many people.

    Music is fantastic too, not only the great Santaolalla pieces, but Mac Quayle as well.

    Gameplay is fun as hell. Probably the best stealth-action game ever made.

One of the most interesting, intimate and special gaming experiences I’ve ever had - this is something that’s is not achievable in any other medium and people don’t seem to get that. Structured weirdly for sure, but still enjoyable. Felt underwritten/under realized. Don't let some over talked elements over shadow the good. (Spoilers) The museum scene, Ellie playing Take On Me and more...so beautiful and reminded me of what I loved about the first game. Cool dynamics with world building too- the other factions are interesting. But overall, they dropped the ball on story and the ending. Still a must play.… Expand

    Made an account after finishing the story, this game deserves all of the praise it gets. Naughty dog manages to stay faithful to the first game as they take you on a journey where you feel every emotion under the sun along the way. Do yourself a favor and play it all the way through, absolutely the most ambitious story the studio has told to date.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. this game was something that many, like me, anxiously waited upon for years, and was also a game that was waited on with such high expectations due to the masterpiece that was the last of us part I. to me, this game was not disappointing in the slightest.

    like others, i was disgusted and horrified by joel’s death, but not in the way that made me want to leave hateful reviews saying that naughty dog had failed the franchise. to me, it was a preview of what would turn out to be the most mentally tolling game i would ever play, both morally and emotionally.

    the decision to have the player spend time as both ellie and abby was extremely risky on naughty dog’s part, but something i ultimately felt was necessary. as we play the same set of days as both these characters who have essentially been destroyed by each other, we get such an insightful glance into the damage revenge has on the mentality of someone and their actions. i found myself not wanting to be hurt as ellie and dina, but at the same time, i rooted for abby and lev, who were essentially the targets of the women i previously mentioned.

    the grief of losing someone by the fault of another is not something that can be so easily remedied, and that’s exactly what the last of us part II shows us. i believe wholeheartedly naughty dog achieved the story they set out to tackle, even though there were faults along the way.

    i urge everyone to play this harrowing game, and urge people who may not be completely satisfied to give it another go. it is vastly different from the game we all grew to adore seven years ago, but that does not make it any less worthy.

    i also applaud the diversity and inclusivity the game provided despite the opinion of bigots. catch up with the world.    … Expand

    Good game, very nice gameplay amazing graphics for a ps4 game, and really confused about the ending, was gonna give it 9 but after the ending i decided it'll be no lower than 7 qnd not higher than 9 so i rate it 8,i really didn't like the sexual contents in this game and the hidden messages to accept homosexuality. good game overall.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It took me a week to sift through all my emotions after beating this game. I am not about to type out an essay but here are some quick points.

    1. To call the writing lazy is completely unreasonable.

    2. I threw Abby off of cliffs around 10 ten times before I proceeded to play as her. Now I feel **** about it.

    3. The gameplay is still a blast. Could they have spiced it up more? Maybe, but I can’t come up with any ideas so I’m not going to complain because it was still great.

    4. The story is meant to be challenging and it’s the apocalypse, **** can happen at any moment.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
