    I played the Game in three sessions. With the Last session being 13 hours Long. This game does Something Most Games don't do. It tells a Story with Risks. Graphics, Performance and physics are Out of this world. The gameplay is sometimes repetitive, but I never expierenced Something with that much atmosphere. The end of the Game gave me something to think about. Over all the whole Game isI played the Game in three sessions. With the Last session being 13 hours Long.     Fantastic game! Expands on the game controls alot from the original game and and makes an overall improvement on it! The graphics and the art design is next level, this is something you would expect to be shown on the next gen console's. The story for the last of us part two is a simple revenge story and fantastically told for a revenge story. The ending leaves more to be desired from theFantastic game!     Don't pay attention to what other people are saying. Just play it yourself and work out your own opinion. This game was always going to be divisive but for people to be actively hating on something just for "fun" is disgraceful. I liked it and will definitely be playing it again in the near future.

This game is damn great i dont understand why people give it so much **** Amazing graphics, great gameplay that is deffinitely a huge imporvement from the first game, a great story even though it has a weird ending. I personally think that the game handles a revenge story in a really unique way in letting you play as the "villian" and eventually it makes you question if Ellie is doing the right thing which makes the Abby sections so much more special. The game has great stealth mechanics (I personally love the inclusion of tall grass where you can hide), new puzzles that are miles better than the original's, and awesome gameplay sequences that remind me of the uncharted games. My only problem with the game would be the lack of character development with characters such as Jesse and Dina who rarely get any screentime and they only work to give character to Ellie. I also didn't love the california section because at first I thought it was kinda pointless but later you realize that its kinda the point and it all works in the end with the final Ellie and Abby showdown. Overall I really enjoyed my time with the game and I think that it really improves on the original game while giving the characters a different approach. I would give the game a 9/10.     Amazing game that have some of the best gameplays ever done and really realistic, and it has his up and down moments of the story it’s a mix of emotions. Recommended to fans and gamers !

    Very close to perfection, but TLOU part I will always be a 10 for me, story-wise. This approach in part II was more nihilistic, which I did like, but there were some sections I didn't quite enjoy as the first part. Still, that ending and the philosophy, the psychology behind it shook me.

    This game is Amazing.!!! Beyond anything that I've ever played. Better than the first game. This story wow!!! Last of us is bigger than just Joel and Ellie.. I can see where they're going with this story. It's a whole universe like the walking dead. And abby story fit's in perfectly I love love this game and hopefully naughty dog makes a third one⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    This game is wild and definitly better than anything thats out right now. Yea the story is sometimes subpar but the overall game is great and you owe it to yourself to play it. Dont listen to what all the bombers are saying.

Most of the negative reviews are saying the story is bad when I think people are just upset that the story didn't go the way they wanted or expected it to. I personally think the story is quite good more in the 7-8 range for me but everything else is great, the gameplay, graphics, customization, etc. the sand box is amazing. The gameplay is similar to The Last of Us 1, which is to be expected they took some of the same mechanics and improved upon them while also adding a few new things, feels like an appropriate sequel. Most negative reviews were put very soon after game release, when the game is 20 - 30 hours long, I think people were so angry that Joel died off in the first 1/10th of the game that they came here to rant about it.… Expand

    ¡Se pasa de bueno!, despues de leer millones de criticas de taraditos desconfie del juego, pero tuve la oportunidad de jugarlo y debo decir que es de lo mejorcito de 2020, un gameplay increible y una historia envolvente.

    Si no eres un virgen con olor a queso que se queja porque en esta entrega las mujeres tienen mas relevancia lo vas a disfrutar al 100%.

    O jogo é fantástico. Mecânicas novas muito boas na gameplay, gráfico incrível, e história sensacional. A narrativa é incrível como no primeiro game, e a história é extremamente bem contada, tendo que ter maturidade pra entender.

I have played though the game completely and I love it better than the first one the story is great and I'm fine with them killing joel it makes the story of the first and second one more rich and the ending is great ellie deciding not to kill abby just because she killed joel is great because ellie knows it's not right even though abby killed joel but 10/10 planning on 100% completing it I highly recommend I think the reason why its has negative reviews is cause people are mad about joel but I recomend it to any last of us fan. En general el juego me pareció bien, gráficos, gameplay tiene sus detalles como la IA de tus compañeros e historia, todos se quejan por la muerte de Joel pero si analizamos bien nadie ha muerto de una forma bonita, el mundo de TLOU es cruel y hablan del inicio y el final que todo el mundo esperaba la venganza y no lo hizo pero no dicen nada del transcurso del juego como en la historia de Abby te das cuenta que no es tan mala, te das cuenta que Ellie y Abby sufriendo pero cada quien a su manera y te hace empatizar con Abby. Por eso en resumen un guión que te haga sentir enojo, tristeza, bajones y dudar si quieres que Abby muera o no porque ya conoces por lo que paso Abby y sabes como es en realidad, en mi opinión es un buen guión tienes sus huecos así que por eso no es perfecto, como porque dejo vivir a Abby si Ellie nunca supo la historia de Abby y si forzan un poco la relación de Ellie y Dina pero nada que moleste es parte de la historia incluso se me hace original hacer que el personaje tenga diferentes atracciones y no sea siempre un H y M. En conclusión buen juego, buena historia, guión, gameplay, no merece un 10 pero tampoco una tan baja le doy un 8/10.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is frustrating, Ellie losing herself is frustrating, having to play as a character you don't know is frustrating, not making the decisions you would make is frustrating but that is the whole point in my opinion.

    The Last of Us 2 does not let you control the narrative and it doesn't control it for you to be exactly what you expect or want either, this is a good thing.

    Ellie follows the character path set out in the first game where she is not a perfectly good character, she has attitude and doesn't like to listen to people, she is emotionally immature and she has severe anger issues. That continues in this game as it should and after the loss of Joel she completely spirals into the worst parts of her personality. She was always this character, and naughtydog have done a great job expanding on that dark truth when the circumstances push Ellie beyond her limits.

    Ellie puts her needs above all else and kills everyone Abby cares about and I mean everyone. Abby on the other hand starts off as a monster, someone I hated with a passion for killing Joel and I couldn't wait to hunt her down and kill her, but she grows on you like a fungus. You start aligned with Ellie but then Ellie's actions that you play out as you cut through people like they're nothing, slowly start to turn your view of her sour.

    Abby has her reasons for revenge and they are powerful ones and yet she only kills the responsible party. Abby does not kill innocents until threatened and even then she let's Ellie live. I would honestly say by the end of the game I was thoroughly feeling so many emotions I didn't know what to do. I went from wanting to kill Abby to slowly losing that drive amid Ellie's one woman murder spree and finally to wanting Abby to just kill Ellie so they could both have some peace.

    This game is emotionally wrenching and it will frustrate you, it will make you cry and it will make you feel unimportant, angry and lost. You aren't a god in this game, you can't control the characters as they both take their own paths with their psychological portraits being laid out before you with every action, they are characters, whole and done, you have no input to make the world they live in better or to make them fit into the good person, bad person stereotype in 90% of games these days.

    This lack of control makes the game what it is, a new and exciting avenue of gaming where it's not just one the same old good person destroys all evil again and again. This is the human condition, it's grey and messy and harsh and sometimes it seems like there's no light. It shows the truth of those who can find peace and those who cannot and the cost of both paths.

    The last of us 2 made me feel more than a game has made me feel in years and that alone is worth the money, however when you add in the amount of gameplay, beautiful graphics and amazing story lines (you get two!) there is genuinely no reason not to buy it.

    Ignore the review bombers who blindly hated this game after a few hours or for ignorant reasons or simply because Joel dies, there were times I was struggling to understand the game direction. When you finish and look at the game deeper and hen sit there and realise what you have just been through, it's astonishingly awakening.

    Regarding Joel's death, he dies for his mistake, the root cause of all of the hardships and death in this game. He was never the perfectly moral person, yes he made his choice for love but the game doesn't use that as a free pass to give him a happy ending, because it was not the right thing to do. He killed dozens of humans who only wanted to save the world and in the end, he caused so many more deaths and he died for it.

    This game perfectly illustrates how one decision can affect the whole balance of a world and it does that perfectly.

    It doesn't protect the characters just because the player expects them to be protected, it is dark and bare and cold and then there are these human moments in-between that just make that dark wholly encompassing. There was time I just wanted Ellie to stop, to stop hurting everyone and just go home and live peacefully but she can't.

    Abby on the other hand, loses everything, I would argue that in the end she loses more than Ellie, yet she still sails off to be free. Abby is the healthy side of this story and I genuinely hope the last of us 3 does happen so i can see what happens to her.

    Please give this game a chance and play it all and look at it, don't just "go characters I liked die, that bad, me no like".

    This game is realistic and harsh and as I said in the beginning, frustrating but it will be an experience you will not ever forget.    … Expand

It makes you think a lot about everything surrounding this grounded world, the decisions you made in the first game, and the brutality of the lives of Ellie and Abby. While this game didn't take the story line I was expecting, I can't deny the brilliance of the game. The story was compelling in a different way than the first. I don't think you are supposed to like one particular side. Players are challenged by having to play as Abby, who brutally murdered arguably the most beloved character in the TLOU franchise, Joel. Abby's journey leads to a fight with Ellie where you must assault Ellie and Dina as her. Undoubtedly, these 2 events are what makes players despise this game. But if you really look into the world of TLOU, no one is safe. No choice is right or wrong to all. The world is about survival. Ellie and Joel killed hunters to survive. Joel killed dozens of people in the firefly hospital to survive with Ellie. Abby avenges her father and kills Joel, then kills countless Seraphites and WLF members to save Lev and survive. The story of The Last of Us Part II is more complicated than right and wrong. That's why I believe ND chose this path. They wanted to spark a debate. The gameplay, sound design, voice acting, soundtrack and motion capture is astonishing. The new mechanics such as going prone, the jump button, the different styles of combat depending the enemy (Seraphites, WLF, Infected) add another level of depth to the gameplay. The brutal combat animations are top tier, to the point where if you play the game multiple times, entire combat sequences would feel different each time. The amount of hard work that went into this is unfathomable. Even haters cannot deny how technically good this game looks. And if they do deny it, then they just aren't looking from an unbiased point of view. It's a shame that a video game could lead to so many vicious things being said about the Naughty Dog employees and TLOU community. If you want to hate the game, you may have that opinion, but don't try to ruin the lives of those who worked hard on it for years. Thank you to Naughty Dog for being brave and providing one of the most controversial, divisive, and thought-provoking games of our generation.… Expand

For those who say that this is garbage and full of plot holes, i'm sorry you’re just not mature enough to play this game. It pictures realism, and how almost nothing goes according to planned as we see in the majority of movies. The game leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth and at the same time a glimpse of hope, as Ellie walks away without two fingers in a road to try and redeem herself. I really hope other game companies inspire themselves and look forward to creating more games such as this, it’s not every game that leaves you thinking for days after you’ve finished it. 10/10… Expand

    This game excels in every area.
    The gameplay, the score, the environment, the depth, all are fantastic. I think the story is what the game will be remembered for and with this the Last of Us 2 sets a new standard for stories in gaming.
    Everyone at Naughty Dog can be proud of this achievement, a true demonstration of a team who are at the pinnacle of their craft.

    10/10 A masterpiece.

Some people have had issues with the story direction, but I think the story was ambitious and well done. The game was very effective in that it elicited sadness, anger, fear, and joy. I felt as if the character's were really well voiced by their respective voice actors. I found the gameplay fun and intuitive. Some mechanics were less so, but all in all a fun game to play.

    The ending may have been pretty lack luster and left a sense of desirability. But the main story I found to be quite enjoyable.    … Expand

    Excelente juego, llevo apenas 2 horas jugando y me pareció con mayor velocidad en la jugabilidad comparado a TLOU parte 1, los que están poniendo calificaciones de 0 es porque son ratas de Xbox que en su peeerra vida podrán jugar TLOU. En lugar de estar dando malas calificaciones, apúrense a echar el colado xboxers.:v

    A masterpiece, both in gameplay and narrative. My favorite point is in the construction of the scenarios and search for resources, generating even more immersion in the world when compared to the first game. Don't mind the bomb reviews, mostly of them is from people who hasn't play the game, play and draw your conclusions, certainly among the best games of the generation!

    Jedna z lepszych gier jakie grałem, a grałem w duża ilość gier. Rzeczywiście zakończenie może budzić emocje ale to jest wizja twórców.
    Do mnie przemówiło zakończenie jak i cała gra. Deweloperzy naprawde się postarali ta gra to poezja.

    Это что получается? Что графика,механика,анимация и так далее все сделано на 0?
    Вы вообще не адекватные! Да,сюжет очень спорный. Но мне понравился! В конце тупо чуть не рыдал)
    Хотя в начале игры так же говнил на игру. И так же говорил WTF какого так предсказуемо и Джоел отупел(списал на то что за 5 лет расслабился, охотясь на зараженных и постарел)
    А потом понял что Дракман хотел показать месть и ненависть. И у него это получилось!
    Вот сидел на своем монике и тупо наслаждался графикой и о*вал. Сколько они работы проделали. Я работаю в сфере IT и понимаю, как же это трудно, вот это все сделать. Это не комментарии строчить в сети. То что сделала компания "игривый щенок" просто поражает.
    На таком запоре, завести такой графоний и скорей всего отлично оптимизирован код. Они походу жили в студии чтоб сделать такое.
    Я не могу понять нытиков, которые говорят что сюжет длинный?! Когда сюжет короткий ноете,когда длинный тоже ноете. Вы купили игру за 60$ или 4300 рубасов и ноете что сюжет длинный? Да она окупается за эти деньги что хочу вам сказать.
    По поводу сюжета я доволен. НО.. Я бы согласился посмотреть на 1 версию сюжета или сделать сюжет Эбби как DCL. С отдельной веткой. Чтоб избежать нытья о том "зачем мы играем за стероиды"
    В общем моя настоящая оценка 8.5 баллов. Эти 1.5 балла, я снизил за некоторые дыры в сюжете и пропаганду ЛГБТ,Трансов и так далее. В остальном все сделано на высшем уровне    … Expand

    And lastly the story... As we all know there is some big controversy around it. I really enjoyed the story. Of course, there are a few things I would change. For example, it should be more chronological so that you play with both characters on the same day. But regardless of this story is really cool and surprise you every time. I think that everything that characters did is realistic and true to their characters. 2 hours from the end I was already thinking that it is over but then another part of the story kicked in and I was happily surprised.
    Overall I can only recommend this game. It was a blast playing it and I think it changed my mindset how I am looking at the world. Thanks, Naughty Dogs.    … Expand

    Il fallait oser, il l'ont fait. Malgré quelques incohérences, ND réussit son pari de nous surprendre (en bien ou en mal). Mais je pense que peu importe leur choix, certains ont détesté le jeu dès son annonce. Une suite n'était pas nécessaire, mais elle est la, et vivement la suite (si il y en a une)

    This game is amazing, truly something else. I enjoyed every moment of it, even when I expected that I wouldn't enjoy a part of it, I was proven wrong. Truly a masterpiece, the story was fascinating and beautifully written. The graphics were beautiful and the soundtrack was great wanted to listen to it for hours. Great job Naughty Dog!

But where the game really shines is in it story . Granted, it was quite unrealistic, and maybe poorly written, Joel accepting Abby's invitation without questioning. The combat system has evolved beyond my expectations with a much more dynamic gameplay. But where the game really shines is in it story . Granted, it was quite unrealistic, and maybe poorly written, Joel accepting Abby's invitation without questioning. However the hole message that the story wants to pass is absolutely shocking and worth experiencing. It affected me in such a deep way that is impossible not to give it a 10. I recommend for every human being owner of a PS4 that has played the first game.
