    this game is an absolute MASTERPIECE. Naughty Dog not only took risks, but they showed courage in making you feel uncomfortable and double think who you really think is the good person. gameplay, story, the overall feel is OUTSTANDING. this is next level gaming, perfect way to get us ready for next gen. i LOVED it. GOTY, might be the game of the generation. (ps4)

    Honestly I know many people are split about the game for various reasons. But by taking in the game as it is with a new perspective and open mind I honestly would call it a masterpiece. The visuals, the gameplay and acting, are all crowning achievements in their own right and should be praised as such. However, when it comes to the story, it seems to fall flat. Don't get me wrong, I thought the writing was very well done. I just feel like they could have taken the time to flesh it out, where it doesn't confused people to the point of the writer having to come out explain it. It's a confusing and as it went on I found myself less invested in the plot. This was poor and rushed way of telling a revenge story. It would have made more sense to learn about Abby and her past before she killed Joel. Instead we get random girl murders main character over a past we didn't know occurred. Not only that but instead of taking years to plan out her vengeance, Ellie goes off half cocked,, where it feels like she is rushing to her own death. There was no thought put into this. If you are going to write a revenge plot, do it right. Also the way she let Abby live at the end left me feeling nothing for Ellie. At this point, at least Abby is still redeemable if they decide to make another game. Other than that I really enjoyed this game. The writing needs work but it was decent. 8 out of 10… Expand

I was unfortunately spoiled before the game came out, but it still didn't compare to playing the game for myself and seeing it for what it really is compared to what everyone else was trying to make it be. Ellie's story is complex and her relationship with Joel is shown so perfectly. The graphics are clearly amazing, but the story is what grabbed myI give this game a solid 10/10! Очень серьезные, на мой взгляд. После прохождения ты начинаешь ценить своих близких, понимаешь, на сколько важно уметь прощать, даже если это весьма непросто.     El juego es asombroso, gráficos del next level, animaciones muy bien logradas inclusive realistas, inteligencia artificial muy buena, detalles por doquier variedad de escenarios, diálogos y acciones. La historia es cuestionable desde el punto de cada jugador.

Whether you enjoyed the story of the game or not Naughty Dog deserve tremendous credit for taking such huge risks in the plot of a triple A game in 2020 when they could have easily just copied the formula of the first game that they knew would work.     Not a lot of people are mentioning the gameplay of the game in their reviews and that is a real shame. Combat-wise this is probably the most satisfying third-person shooter I have played since the early Gears of War games and that is mostly down to how violent and satisfying it feels, when you shoot someone with a shotgun in this game you REALLY feel it. Overall the gameplay is very solid.

    The game is by no means perfect however, it has some pacing issues and honestly could do with being at least 5 hours shorter. There are moments in the game when you are exploring for a while and it feels like the plot isn't really moving forward. The narrative structure of the game is also something I am not 100% keen on as it removes the emotion from some moments in the story that would have had more emotion to them if they were presented in a linear fashion. There are a few moments when the strange narrative structure works quite well however and it certainly makes the game feel unique and stand out.

    We need more games to take risks like Last of Us 2 ore we will end up living in a generation of bland copy-paste sequels and I'm not ok with that.    … Expand

The is different than any game i have ever played new experience that made me amazed, although my fav character died it doesn't make the game garbage its still amazing .
    The game is in my head till now since i finished it i can't stop thinking about it and that it self is success from the developers. I gave it a 9 because there were just some stuff that could have been improved but still a masterpiece that you should give a trymost of the people who hate the game never bought it so they decided to hate bomb the reviews hate on the game all for some leaks. I wanna tell you i have soiled the game for myself with some leaks but not too much but even though i hated the leaks i still loved the game and it made no difference to me a.     Honestly, this game was a masterpiece. Lot of people who didn't experience the game properly just looked at the story aspect of it and not the breathtaking gameplay aspect of it. Stop hating on this game just because some famous youtuber/streamer you follow hates it. If this was a Hideo Kojima game this game would have a 9+ user rating.

    Story telling at its finest. Could stop binge playing until the end. If you haven't played the game, play it and make your own mind about it. Don't let biased reviews stop you. For me it is one of the finest stories ever told in a game, even better than part 1.

A women who wants to play a game as a strong kick as woman that isn't in a skimpy outfit and giant **** I was worried that I wasn't going to enjoy the story after hearing negative reviews from the leak. Boy was i surprised by how fantastic the story telling and game play was. I loved playing as Abby. I loved the story from both sides. The pain I felt after seeing the story from the otherside. Meeting the people and dogs id just brutally murdered as Ellie. Wow, what a roller-coaster. All I wanted in the end was redemption for both of them. Game play was fun and challenging at times. It showed how Ellie’s obsession with avenging Joel’s death took everything from her, her family, her friends, her humanity. It teaches you to have empathy and forgiveness, to see that everyone, no matter what they’ve done or how much they might have hurt you, they’re human with a story and people they love. It teaches you to move on and not to let the past restrict you from living in the present. Truly a phenomenal game, that toys with your emotions and makes you see how unhealthy grudges are and what grief can do to you.… Expand

Pero cuando compramos este juego no solo lo hacemos por estos temas, sino que lo más importante es la historia, QUE ES INCREÍBLE. Es un viaje de un montón de sentimientos encontrados y de situaciones fuertes y desgarradoras, que seguroThe last of us II es increíble. Sin duda es uno de mis juegos favoritos, por el decir EL FAVORITO.

    The first half is very depressing and not really enjoyable. The second half really picks up the pace and is truly one of the best gaming experience you can have, in terms of gameplay and storytelling. Would have rated it a perfect 10 if not for the slow and depressing first half.

    I am 100% sure all the guys tha gave negative score at this masterpiece are just immature people.Life is not always beautiful and it doesn't always has a happy ending.Maybe when your life comes to the end...maybe then you will realise that, poor,kids in brain...

    Un Clásico! con una historia que no te dejará indiferente, con un gameplay de lujo, gráficas increibles y sonido de la misma calidad. Un juego que propone (y seguro lo logra) cambiar la manera de contar las historias y los tipos de historias que contarán los videojuegos de ahora en más.

    Физика персонажей... ребята я не знаю как вы это сделали но вы задрали планку в игровой индустрии. Ранее мне казалось что в rdr2 физика на высоте, но тут... Постановка боевки с кинематографичными кадрами - это что-то!

    Эмоции. Комбинация страха и интереса... Я бы сказал что игра "страшно-интересная") ))

    Сценарий! О боже! Не хочу сполейрить, пусть будет несколько поверхностная позиция касательно его - он шедевральный!

    Мое мнение, что The Last Of Us 2 - это ЮВЕЛИРНАЯ работа длиною в 7 лет над сценарием, графикой, физикой. То что удалось сделать Naughty Dog - редкость в наше время.

    Ребята огромное вам СПАСИБО за этот шедевр!

    С феминизмом, лесбиянством, гендреными темами в игре как по мне переборщили) У меня на эту тему свои взгляды, но только по этому судить игру не правильно считаю и занижать оценку. Я ставлю 10 из 10. В третей части таким щедрым скорее всего не буду, не люблю когда что-то прям сильно навязывают, как продавцы, которые стучаться к вам в двери что-бы что-то продать.

    The Last of Us: Part II is the perfect game to end the PS4's legacy on, fitting considering that's what Part I was to the PS3. A delightful combination of incredibly detailed graphics, crisp and clean gameplay and a moving story that rivals some of the very best of the medium makes TLOU2 nothing short of a MASTERPIECE.

    I love this game's amazing and fun graphics and gameplay. Maybe the story was a little jumbled around but it still conveyed a great message and I thought the ending was good. This is definitely a masterpiece for me and is a must-play.

    Люди плачут насчёт Джоела, потому что этот персонаж был им дорог, но только тупой будет говорить что его слили, потому что по ходу сюжета первой части было очевидно что его найдут и попытаются наказать. О плюсах или минусах игры вы можете почитать или посмотреть у других.

    One beautiful peace of art. Truly a decent successor of the first part, though not perfect. Nevertheless, the majority of disadvantages (which are very few) is greatly overweighted by amazing plot.

    Love the game, waited 7 years and i am not disappointed at all. The game is gorgeous the characters are fantastic and the story is amazing. Overall the game is solid 10 and it will keep you playing it over and over again

And the transgender character I didn't know until I learned, it wasn't that obvious at all and after I learned I know what character they mean but I couldn't figure it out when I didn't know this piece of info. The ending was weird but it fits nicely into this whole game atmosphere and points they were trying to make. Imho ending was little bit oblong but I understand they're intention.
    Graphics was amazing I still don't really understand how can it be so beautiful on my old OG PS4 and I didn't really experience FPS drops that much but my PS4 is old and full of dust and need thermal paste so maybe overheating and underclocking was a problem on my system but that is all about graphic. Graphics in this game with one word: beautiful.

    Cons: I encountered several bugs through playing that basically ruined my checkpoints. It was a lot more than OG but I only played Remaster of OG so I don't really know how many bugs had OG OG PS3 ver when it came out, but I am sure they will fix most of this issues by updates.
    Also, checkpoints were all over the place in places that I didn't really need checkpoint on every meter they gave me that, but when I had one of the hardest fights in the entire game I didn't have checkpoint until freaking kilometre away, that angered me but I guess The Last of Us was always hard so.    … Expand

    Complete masterpiece. Must play, after tlou1 and left behind. NOT before. it is a storm of emotions, it must be played with patience and attention. if you think you are "emotionally mature" I recommend it with all my heart, if you are not I recommend you wait to play it.

    Não gostei do acontecimento principal, mas com tempo vc entende a proposta, mesmo não concordando com esse acontecimento, NA MINHA OPNIÃO é o jogo da geração, gráficos simplesmente lindos, combate melhorado comparado ao interior, uma história forte padrão Naughty Dog. Aqueles que entender a proposta vai entender e ver q o jogo é muito bom.

    The game is amazing. Mechanics, graphics, plot. Everything is good. I understand the shock but you need to understand the reasons.
    There are logic, please play the full game before put zeros randomly because you cry over injustice and stuff. We all cry over that.
    The feelings are the best part.

    I really enjoyed the complex, multi layered story and realistic (flawed) characters, the fun gameplay, the stunning art direction and technical feat, and the beautiful and melancholic music. Especially loved Abby and I definitely want to follow her story in a third part, alongside Ellie. Incredible performance from all the voice actors. Those giving under 5 should be ashamed of themselves and take time to sit down and think about what kind of person they are. If you dont agree with the politics, the size of Abby's arms (jesus christ) etc you have to give it at least 5 for the game play itself.

    For me the first game was great because of the simplicity of its story. Ellie and Joel had a sole aim, to get to the Fireflies across the USA. They were our good guys and our protagonists. Until the final act there was no moral complexity or subversion of our expectations. The    I couldn't help but make an account purely to counter the absurd negativity that surrounds this masterful game.

    For me the first game was great because of the simplicity of its story. Ellie and Joel had a sole aim, to get to the Fireflies across the USA. They were our good guys and our protagonists. Until the final act there was no moral complexity or subversion of our expectations. The linchpin of the game was the relationship between the two, which was beautifully portrayed and developed.

    The second game throws this out of the window and plunges us into a world of blurred morality, of vengeance, of love, of despair... and is all the better for it. This complexity was not found in the first game and is handled so well in this story. What I don't think people understand is that this game is supposed to rip your heart out and make you mad. That's not a flaw of the game, its a testament to its writing and acting. Art is supposed to move you and make you feel, which this game does in bucket loads. The game is set in a post apocalyptic nightmare, so of course things aren't going to be all sunshine and rainbows.

    What this game does so fantastically is massively subvert our expectations and beliefs at the midway mark. Without trying to spoil anything, I will simply say that a change in perspective brings another layer to this game which is truly inspired. Everything we have been led to believe, everyone we have come to root for and those we have come to hate... all is questioned and it makes for a fantastically complex and ambiguous story. Its hard to argue that anybody in this game is a true hero or villain (aside from some notable exceptions in the final act) which is a level of ambiguity rarely seen in the video game world. To paraphrase a well known saying, the greatest trick Neil Druckmann ever pulled was convincing us that Joel was a hero. I loved what TLOU2 did with its story, and anybody who enters this game with an open mind, unswayed by moronic 1 star reviews will surely appreciate this on some level.

    I'm also seeing a lot of reviews calling this game 'propaganda' and 'pandering' which is just so vile and obtuse. Yes there are lesbians, yes there is a trans character. Guess what, if you switch off your console and go outside such people are in the real world too!! If you are playing this game and these things bother you then quite frankly you just don't deserve nice things so maybe just throw out your Playstation.

    In terms of the gameplay The Last of Us Part II is one of the smoothest gaming experiences I've ever had. Similar to the first game one has the choice of a number of weapons, which are collected throughout the game and are able to be upgraded. Also carried forward is the option to upgrade skills, enhanced for this instalment with additional options. Everything you love from the first game is here, never made worse, only ever enhanced.

    The greatest change I found was the ways you can choose to play. Whether you prefer to opt for aggressive or stealth gameplay there so many options for you to execute both with such fluidity and ingenuity, making the replayability high (which I don't quite think the first game has). There's a good mix of environments and enemies, although my only criticism would be a slight pacing issue. There were some latter sections which could have been streamlined, but that's a small criticism all things considered.

    TLOU2 has received so much unwarranted and ridiculous hate. Any true fans of the first game and fans of story telling will surely love this follow up. Just as beautiful, just as harrowing, just as epic, it has everything the first game does and more. Do not listen to the morons out there who have slated this game because it dares to shock and dares to upset them. It is a masterpiece, plain and simple.    … Expand

    Everything in this game is just beautiful and memorable, the level, game and character design, the expressions, the music and the scenes are beautifully written. It's clear that Naughty Dog put all the love for this project and it's a perfect sequel, probably one of the best so far. I want to give 9/10 only because the final part of the game is a little bit longer than necessary.

    This game is really good. Lots of hate due to a lack of Joel game play and a misunderstanding of the game. If you want a happy ever after don't play it but if you're prepared to enjoy a good game but feel anger and sadness then definitely play it.

I found it hard to continue some parts due to that challenge, but toward the end, I began to sorta understand the story and characters, especially after a 2nd playthrough. It was bittersweet ending for me, but the game kept me hooked with its exciting action scenes, and compelling story. And even though I spent the entire game looking forward to killing Abby, I ended up at the same mindset as Ellie: it wouldn't bring him back. An amazing series that deserves more praise than it has gotten from the fans.… Expand
