    This game doesn't deserve the score it has. There's a lot to say about this game, but you have to play it by YOURSELF. Do not watch it on streamer channels, do not watch it on YouTube, do not listen to anyone and you'll get what Neil Druckmann and his team wanted to say. The Last Of Us Part II is...different comparing to the Part I. But The Second Part is a masterpiece. Bravo Naughty Dog,This game doesn't deserve the score it has. The last of us 2 is a type of game that will make you love a character and in the next scene will kill him. I really loved the way they make you hate Abby so much yet in the end they make you love her. The game play is way far better than anything I've ever played and the graphics too.… Expand

    Just finished the game. Was a bit worried with all the negative reviews. But in all honesty it was a great game. One of the best I ever played. I definitely think it was better than the first one.

    This game is simply a beautiful masterpiece! I have never been so emotional in a game like in TLOU 2. What a message...worth the wait and the best way to end this generation of consoles. The only down side is that it sets the bar really high for all other games to come.

Да, сама идея, которую нам преподносят вначале игры, а затем в середине - проста, но не нужно забывать, что "все сюжеты давно написаны", а потому важны детали. И как раз в деталях и кроется весь сок TLOU 2. Малейшие спойлеры даже структуры сюжета могут испортить впечатление, потому что она важна для понимания как второй части,    Без спойлеров.
    Сперва хотелось бы сказать о сюжете - он хорош. Да, сама идея, которую нам преподносят вначале игры, а затем в середине - проста, но не нужно забывать, что "все сюжеты давно написаны", а потому важны детали. И как раз в деталях и кроется весь сок TLOU 2. Малейшие спойлеры даже структуры сюжета могут испортить впечатление, потому что она важна для понимания как второй части, так и первой. Сюжет второй части раскрывает отчасти и сюжет первой игры, дополняя ее и придавая объема, это шикарно.
    По поводу всяких повесток - их настолько мало, что вы их можете и не заметить, это слишком субьективно, но даже если вы ярый противник sjw, то играть сможете не морщив морду по кд.
    По поводу перекаченности одной из героинь - этому есть логичное и понятное объяснение.
    Некоторые говорят, что геймплей скучный и он остался прежним - это не так. В своей основе этот тот же шутер от третьего лица с упором на стелс. Меж тем есть и приятные нововведения, вроде прыжка и уклонений в бою. Но сама по себе механика не раскрылась бы без:
    - Дико агрессивных врагов (на максимальном уровне сложности, но об этом позже). Они просто не дают продыху - постоянно наступают, обходят с флангов, закидывают молотовыми, не выстраиваются в очередь, чтобы начать вас бить, а просто стреляют на поражение (и очень даже метко). Бои стали гораздо брутальнее не только из-за повышенной детализации насилия, но и тех условий в которые ставят игрока - постоянный прессинг со стороны превосходящих групп противника, которые не дают сидеть на месте и вынуждают использовать весь доступный арсенал.
    - Обновленных локаций, прибавивших в вертикальности и обьеме. Локации стали огромными, а конкретно арены, стали гораздо больше и вертикальнее, из-за чего столкновения с противниками заиграли новыми красками, чего не было в первой части.
    Некоторые люди не заметят всей брутальности и крутости боевки из-за сложности. Дело в том, что все, что я описал выше можно испытать только проставив максимальный уровень сложности. Ибо на нем противники перестают долбиться в глаза, перестают сидеть за укрытиями в ожидании пули и начинают действительно давить на героя, припасов становится действительно мало и столкновения превращаются в головоломки. Но, если вы не сторонник максимальных сложностей, либо вам неудобно стрелять с геймпада (да еще и в 30 фпс) как мне, то можно настроить конкретные аспекты сложности (и это очень круто). Отдельно настраивается глазастость противников, их агрессивность, количество получаемых припасов, агрессивность напарников (как часто они убивают врагов), насколько хрупок игрок. Рекомендую ставить максимальную агрессию противников и поставить побольше припасов, чтобы сделать чуть-чуть больше экшона.    … Expand

    Best game this year so far. Absolutelly loved it. Great visual and gameplay, found no bugs during two playthrough (first was 30 hours), which is rare now. About story.. It was different from first one, darker, sad, but still good and interesting. One thing can be seen different from other perspective. Great job Naughty Dog.

    With such a divisive love it or hate it story, there is no doubt Naughty Dog has once again set the bar in technical aspects of video game making. The amount of work and dedication put in with each frame and each individual pixel is astounding (albeit amidst reports of developer crunch) and continues to solidify Naughty Dog as one of the industry's best.

    The slightly longer version: This game is AMAZING. No story, especially in video games, has made me cry, think, and reflect like this one has, not even the first game! It is not an easy story to swallow, as it’s heavy-handed, brutal, and complex. But once you start connecting the dots, it becomes one of the best stories in any medium ever! The feeling of “connecting the dots” reminds me of Shutter Island starring Leo DiCaprio. The first time around, it’s kinda confusing until the big twist comes. But if you decide to go for a second watch, everything starts to mean something more, and you see all the inter-woven stories a lot better.

    And with such a high quality game, why wouldn’t you want to play it again (besides the emotional trauma and sadness it’ll probably give you)? It’s outstanding in every way. Story and Characters? Excruciatingly Amazing and Human. Extremely immersive. Will probably leave you sad, hollow and empty by the end.

    Gameplay? A smoother, more refined and expanded version of the OG TLOU’s formula. You can be a lot more creative with this one. Melee Combat and Gunplay feel and play amazing and Stealth gives off MGSV vibes.

    Technical stuff and Presentation? Top. **** Notch. The graphics are straight out of a PS5, save for the 30fps. The level design? The closest to perfection so far. Acting and animations both in-game and cutscene? The best we’ve had, bar NONE. World Building thru collectibles, dialogue and the subtle details in the environment? On par with, or maybe even better than, RDR2. Polish? Very few glitches and no game-breaking ones.

    My personal Game of the Year and Generation, and arguably my favorite game of all time, in contention with Part 1 and MGS3.    … Expand

    Solid 10, there hasnt been a good game realeased in forever and ONE character death shouldn’t be the judge of the entire game no matter if it was ellie, joel, tommy or even dina. Its still a good game.

    This game is far ahead of it’s predecessor. Technically it is one of the best, if not the best game of all time. The first one was there to please the whole crowd with it’s great story. It was a story which could not be hated because it was basically mainstream , but in a good way. Part 2 is much more controversial in terms of storytelling. Fyi Mac Quayle from “Mr Robot” worked on the score too along with Gustavo. This sequel is much more creative than the first one in terms of gameplay. The fact alone, that enemies are crying for their shot friends is just terrifying to look at. Dog’s are crying too if you shoot their owner btw.. The only issue that I have with this game are some long passages throughout playing the second half of the game.

    Try this game with an open mind if you played the first one.

    One thing’s for sure. Player which did not play the first one are 100% satisfied with it.    … Expand

People who are destroying this game cause of Joel death need a life. Why do you think Ellie gets revenge? Cause they killed her dog? Lol!! It's pretty obvious why she was going to make everyone pay. Revenge is just a way to create another revenge... Abby was not wrong for revenge... and it is also not wrong for Ellie to go for revenge... at least they all paying for the price... a changing make them different however i hope theres some DLC to explore the storyline between Joel & Ellie during the first 5 years... The graphics, the animation, the mechanics, everything was awesome, the story at the beginning is frustrating but while you are playing you get more and more and more excited, but it stop when you take the control of Abby, i understand the message of the game that was, no one is safe, no one has an heroic end, everybody can die at any time, and the developing of Ellie of her decisions and her thirst of revenge while you start understanding the past of Abby, and when Ellie loses everything, God, you start to reflect with yourself, it's just, Wow, there are other things that are good and bad, but honestly if you start to think clearly what you've just played, is a masterpiece, Please if you read this, take a moment to think about it and review this game what it deserves, thanks and nice done Naughty Dog… Expand

    Incredible, beautiful game. THIS IS A DIFFERENT GAME THAN TLOU 1. If you go in expecting the same story, you will be disappointed. It is its own story. Sure, it has a few problems, infected enemies are still less interesting than humans, but I firmly believe it deserves a 10/10.

    This game is an unrivaled game both in terms of story, graphics and gameplay, it should be experienced without looking at any of the bad reviews. On the contrary, the punch of the story called bad is very strong. one of the games those who say it's bad are either an xbox fan or someone who can't play the game, this game is among the best games ever

    Loved the 1st game, really got me on the PlayStation game train. Game play kinda carries over, not too different from the 1st in terms of play. The graphics utilized in this game is also very well done; environments feel very swallowed by nature now compared to when you play the 1st one. Voice overs are still carried over with all the past cast seems like. The story is kinda hmmmmm initialLoved the 1st game, really got me on the PlayStation game train. Game play kinda carries over, not too different from the 1st in terms of play. The graphics utilized in this game is also very well done; environments feel very swallowed by nature now compared to when you play the 1st one. Voice overs are still carried over with all the past cast seems like. The story is kinda hmmmmm initial hours are pretty crazy and will have you sad, maybe. I was sad. From what I've played so far its not exactly a game you have to drop or anything you can play to at least see what Ellie does towards the end.

AND IT IS F"n HILARIOUS instantly changed my experience from a 4 due to story to a 9 for the hilarious play and realization that some people are that abysmally bad at playing games. Truly revolutionary trash puzzles and easy difficulties. But honestly after finding out the extra options it changed my play 180.    … Expand

This is the first game in my lifetime where, knowing what DOES happen far from spoils it. It made me laugh, cry rivers. It is STILL THIS POWERFUL, after somebody had tried to destroy it!     Don't listen to the people trying to hide their political and intolerant views by trying to disguise it with fake takes and opinions on how the game is.

    It's clearly obvious that there is an effort to tank the game by a certain group of people. A game with this much production value, careful detail and effort couldn't be further from the zeroes and ones that it is receiving. They most likely read the story and inferred from credible reviews to appear as if they know what the game is about.

    Don't be mislead and skip the game because of the fake reviews. You'll be missing out on a once in a generation game if you do.    … Expand

    Disregard the reviews made on June 19th. More than 20k reviews in a few hours after the game was released? It’s literally impossible that any of those people actually finished this 24+ hour game. The more i think about this game the more i love it. I like the third act now and i understand why i didn’t while i was playing it, it’s not meant to be something enjoyable and fun, which most of the game is, even though you’re facing moral dilemmas throughout the entirety of it. The spectacular graphics and playability contribute to make this game a 10/10 for me, i’m definitely replaying it soon. Now, that’s my opinion, maybe you disagree with me and you hate this game and that’s ok. But the overwhelming hate towards this game in just a few hours after it’s release is not fair and not realistic.… Expand

    Oh no my fav character died... Get over it have you never watched a good season before people die and you feel emotions, that’s why it’s there. In a world where any action has a consequence, bad things happen and with reason too.

    The voice acting and gameplay mechanics alone gives this game at least an 8! I just have to say that reading all the negative reviews actually has me laughing my ass off! These people have so clearly never even played the game or just have poor taste, i’m sure they’ll enjoy Gears of War 6 or Halo: Infinite though.

    Seriously don’t let user reviews put you off. A game doesn’t receive 10s from critics if a game is not good. Don’t believe into the theory that Naughty Dog paid for reviews either because again that is just some sort of hilarious joke!

    One last thing, i’ve seen angry people over the fact that Ellie is gay... For starters what on earth is even wrong with that and it actually makes no difference whatsoever in the story.    … Expand

I've played the first game over 30ish times since it's release and only and couple weeks before the second part came out I went back to the game to get every single trophy available for it. I went through every nook and cranny in the first game, and I'm about to do that for the second. I've watched behind the scenes footage, learned almost everything about the characters and loved each second of it. This game isn't the first game. It's not a story about the lengths a father would go for his daughter. It's about what Ellie would do after losing Joel. (and honestly he should've died in the first game.. The wound he got from the fall alone should've killed him within hours.) and for those complaining about his death, I don't see how this game would've been possible any other way. It would've been just Joel saying "I killed the fireflies to save you" and Ellie would've been moppy for a while but what else could they have done? Try to get a new doctor and basically redo the first game? That's crap. This direction was much more daring and enabled the writers more room to grow Ellie. Get it together. For most of the angry reviews, I can tell they haven't even completed the game but worse than that they nitpick details and explain how they would do it as if they're professional developers or seasoned story writers. Most of them (nearly all) can't even spell "graphics"(or some other easy words) I don't count myself as a professional like Neil Drukmann, or Halley Gross, but I sure as h*ll don't think those bashing the game could've even created a good sentence let alone a beautiful 25 hour long game.
    The characters are deeper than any other shooter based game(or any for that matter).Even the NPCs have names to remind you of the blood you're shedding. Some are deeper than others, some I care more than others, but it would be impossible to make every character as deep as Ellie or Abby. But mind you, they didn't make Joel very deep either. They simply made him a grunt that was irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. We still fell inlove because he was new. The only reason he's important is because he found Ellie and that's what made him less of a random person. But Joel, or the idea of him, is a simple man in complicated situations.
    I get if you don't like the story, but this the end result of countless hours spent by the ND team. If you're gonna give it a score give it a fair one. if you're gonna bash something properly explain why. Just cause you personally have anger in you doesn't justify an attack on hundreds of people and their work. This game is art and the fact that there are so many id*ots bashing it proves its great art.

    The game play is fun, and almost completely different from the first game. There are new mechanics which opens your mind to different perspectives and ways to Traverse. The story picks up where we left off almost immediately (and goes back on forth in the time line) and graphics are beautiful (duh) this game is amazing and I really wish people would get it a real chance but that didn't happen.    … Expand

    Very few games manage to engage so deeply. I loved the character's journeys and growth. The story was only enhanced with those graphics. In all my 30hours of gameplay, I barely encountered any bugs, which I think it speaks on its own of what kind of masterpiece this is. I can't wait to replay the game again!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 24 hours after beating the game, I'm still very confused about my thoughts on the game. First of all, we can't discuss graphics (probably the best on console right now) nor the gameplay (similar to the first game but improved in many ways). Regarding the story: while in the first game we can only love our two protagonists and their relationship, in Part II we need to see the reality and understand that there are consequences to Joel's actions. I'm no trying to defend Abby but we need to understand that Ellie and Abby are two sides of the same coin. I don't think it's true that Abby is a psychopatic killer while Ellie is justified. What if we played the first game from Abby's perspective? No one is right in the world of TLOU, it's all a matter of different point of views. Probably the biggest problem is that we are forced to play 10/12 hours with Abby: I understand that they wanted to compare Abby's redemption with Joel's in the first game, however it may have been dragged a little too much and giving us more of her backstory could have worked out better.
    I did not mind the way Ellie is portrayed in Part II: people need to realize that she is not the innocent 14y/o kid that she was in Part I, she has grown, she has felt betrayed by the only person that never abandoned her, she feels like her life does not make sense anymore.
    Joel had it coming unfortunately, I don't think his death felt very forced, he's human, he lived 4 years in a relatively quiet place, he may have become a softer person but it may have helped if they showed us that Joel has become more open to strangers.
    Lots of negative comments are just due to the s**t storm bandwagon that the internet is, some just can't accept that stories may go the way we do not want to. Afterall, do our lives go always the way we want?
    Regarding the ending: Ellie remembers a conversation with Joel about forgiveness and let Abby go. Does it mean that she forgives Abby? I don't know, I actually think that she is just tired of all that violence, she already became what Joel was before meeting her while Abby became what Joel was AFTER meeting Ellie. She is able to let go her obsession unlike Abby did, proving that she is still a caring and better person. We may or may not like or agree with the ending, I'm personally still undecided about it. Ellie has now lost every connection to her past because of her obsession for revenge just like Abby lost her new “family” because of Ellie. However Abby has now a new person to care about, we do not know if Ellie will find someone, if she will come back to DIna, or she will travel alone.

    Could Part II have been better? Yes. Is it better than the first game? The first TLOU will always have a special place in my heart, Part II is a different story that works on a different level and if handled differently it could have worked for the majority. However that doesn't mean the story is bad. Give it a try, it is worth it
    Do I want a Part III? Maybe, however it should not be polarizing like Part II and should be completely focused on Ellie    … Expand

The game does a wonderful job with narrative, deep and complex emotions, amazing support characters and relationships, dichotomy and duality, and twists and surprises that ultimately reflect human behaviour.

    This game goes to show that this is not a fantasy world where everyone is happy, **** happens and how you deal with that and the journey you go through. Also, in case people did not understand it after playing part 1, you are not playing a hero, you are not playing as the good guy, you never have in TLOU.

    Naughty dog continued its trajectory of great story telling and amazing characters all within the world that we all love although this experience may not feel much of a "zombie game", with the great little touches to the gameplay and music makes this the best work Naughty dog has brought to the industry in as an art form    … Expand

I believe this game to be so much more than a generic revenge tale that some fans of the first are dumbing it down to be. However, this game does lack any real replay value. El juego es un 10 técnicamente hablando, visualmente es de lo mejor hecho a o largo de la historia, la banda sonara se repite con la calidad que ya sabemos nos ofrece Gustavo y el Gameplay supera al del 1 por mucho, el botón de esquivar añadido le da una intensidad increíble al combate cuerpo a cuerpo. Hablando sobre las quejas relacionadas a la "Diversidad" que hay dentro del juego, cabe mencionar que se ofrecen momentos de todo tipo, sin embargo ni un solo segundo hay algo forzado en la trama, todo lo incluyeron de forma sutil y natural. Con respecto al corazón de The Last of Us, que es su historia, mientras jugaba sentía que se quedaba corta en comparación al 1, pero al terminarlo me di cuenta que no es así, no es tanto la típica historia de venganza, el cliché que algunos sienten, es en completo una historia de perdón y redención. Dejaron atrás la historia de buscar la cura para salvar al mundo. Joel durante el 1 terminó con toda la esperanza y la "Luz" que quedaba, y al mismo tiempo destruyó a Ellie en el proceso al quitarle el motivo de su vida. Joel necesitaba el perdón de Ellie.
    En el juego se muestra a un Joel desgastado, que se ve a leguas esta sufriendo por las decisiones que ha tomado y las cuales sin embargo volvería a tomar. La gente cree que se "despersonalizó" a Joel, por el simple hecho de bajar la guardia, cuando en realidad Joel pierde su personalidad en el 1 en el momento en el que Sarah muere y es cuando conoce a Ellie que empieza a recuperar su personalidad, tanto es así que termina confiando rápidamente en Henry y su hermano, por ejemplo. Aquí ya lleva un par de años viviendo relativamente tranquilo y es Tommy, quien los delata ante los lobos... Lo que hicieron con Joel es algo muy arriesgado y difícil de aceptar, pero al final es un recurso realista y doloroso.
    Ellie necesitaba perdonar la vida de Abby para poder continuar. Muchas veces es muy fácil juzgar las decisiones de las personas estando como espectador, pero como ya es común en los videojuegos, hay que colocarse por completo en los zapatos de Ellie y Abby para comprenderlas. Abby lleva a cabo su deseada venganza, algo que lleva planeando por años, y es lo que primeramente arruina su relación con Owen, sin embargo no conoce el precio de la venganza hasta después de llevarla a cabo, a diferencia de Ellie que esta pagando el precio de la venganza mientras la busca. En esta historia no hubo ganadores, solo personas que lo perdieron todo en distintos momentos por las decisiones que tomaron. El mensaje que me dejo el juego es que, en un mundo donde todo puede terminar tan abrupta y rápidamente como ese, no está permitido guardar resentimientos con los seres queridos. Ellie tiene la oportunidad de haber intentado perdonar a Joel durante 2 años, pero nunca lo hizo hasta un día antes de perderlo, eso es lo que la atormenta, es lo que entiende en el momento final y es por ello que perdona a Abby, para poder seguir con su vida.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a fan of the first game and someone that wasn't spoiled by the leaks I can can whole heartedly say I was not disappointed. Joel's death is not some pointless attempt at shock value as everyone wants to believe. Its creates interesting, reoccurring themes within the story (those being revenge, hate and forgiveness), it gives Ellie a complex character arc, it kicks off a brutal journey for us the player to go on and is a perfect way to continue the story beats of the first game. Also I cried like a baby so there's that too.

    Abby is such an intriguing character and her tie to the first game was an amazing spin on the ending of the original. To be fair, her segment does go on too long but stick to it. Trust me you'll understand why you have to see Abby's perspective by the end. The only way I feel I can some up my feeling towards Abby's and her segment it that I said "I don't want to kill Abby!" aloud durring the final fight. Having her and Ellie's perspective is honestly what makes the ending as perfect as it is in my opinion.

    The only other complaints towards the game that I get are that it's not what was promised in the advertising ("You think I'd let you do this in your own?") and the time hopping mixed with flashbacks within flashbacks is messy.
    That said, I can't deny that I enjoyed it as much if not then slightly less than the first game. Slightly.



    Next gen looking graphics and a stellar score don't hurt the experience either.    … Expand

    I was lucky to have avoided spoilers. A devastingly beautiful narrative tour de force. Fantastic performances and bold story telling. Technically brilliant and perhaps the most gorgeous game on any platform despite being on PS4. Avoid spoilers if you can, as I did, and you'll be able to enjoy this story of violent retribution, empathy and redemption. I understand how this game is devisive,I was lucky to have avoided spoilers. A devastingly beautiful narrative tour de force. Fantastic performances and bold story telling. Technically brilliant and perhaps the most gorgeous game on any platform despite being on PS4. Avoid spoilers if you can, as I did, and you'll be able to enjoy this story of violent retribution, empathy and redemption. I understand how this game is devisive, if you don't like it you're probably justified. But for me, this narrative nailed all its story beats and for me, is PS4's best game.

    What a beautiful game, man. I’m still thinking about it. Played it till i could barely see straight to get to the end. What a difficult thing PTSD, anger, thoughts of justice and revenge are when you’re just trying to let it go and be happy. All the people that got hurt along the way. I dont think Abby And Lev survived that fight regardless. Giving it a 10 on the fact that ive not played aWhat a beautiful game, man. I’m still thinking about it.     Gameplay : 16/20 Comme le 1e avec quelque nouveauté.
    Durée de vie : 15/20 Bonne durée de vie ( Environ 30H ) mais du remplissage dans la deuxième partie du jeu pour allonger la durée de vie. Bande son : 15/20 Très bon au niveau de l'ambiance , un peu moins au niveau des musiques qui était + présente et + marquante dans le 1 .    Graphisme : 19/20 Juste Magnifique.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
