    Foi bem tenso, a história, a gemeplay, conhecer todos os personagens e saber o que acontece com eles no decorrer do jogo. Foi um desafio desvendar as emoções enquanto jogava. O final, ainda mastigando e movendo o que foi achado. Ótimo jogo! Tem tanto a se falar dele ainda, em diversos e diversos aspectos.

    I'll definity place this game as one (if not the very ONE ) of the best gaming experience of this current generation. Story level went far and beyond the first installment, making this game just at a level on it's own. Thank you Naughty Dog for this mesmerizing experience!!
    It's difficult to imagine that another game can manage to equal this emotional tour de force!!

    Sound and soundtrack are as great as they were in the first game, many of the game sounds still the same from the first one, like when enemies detect you for example. Soundtrack is beautiful, even though I don't think it's as memorable as the first game.

    Now for story, it's the reason I didn't give this game a 10. Besides all criticism over the game story, which some are correct and some don't, I actually liked the story they told us, I just didn't like the way it was told.
    Game has serious pacing issues, it relies on many, many flashbacks to tell a story, they use this storytelling method to a lot, and the problem is, the flashbacks are actually more interesting than what's happening on the present. I know that what's happening in the present has the weight of what happened on the flashbacks but those moments still look disconnected and it bothers me.

    My complains aside, game has a good story, but definitey not for everyone. Some people will really care and feel deeply connected to the characters some other people won't.

    Before embarking on this journey just know that you'll end it feeling worse than when you started, that's the game intention.

    I think there should be more Games out there that do something different with the Story.
    Its very sad that a game that does something different is hated so much. Could people please stop comparing it to the first game and I dont understand how Joel acts out of character. He changed in Jackson he learned that there are still good people and besides of that he had no reason to think that Abby and her Group are bad people.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First, as everyone agree, its graphic, music, level design, anything else that consists of the environment, is awesome. The last masterpiece of the PS4 era, in the twilight. I can no longer wait the day it comes back as remastered PS5 version.

    This, however, is not what we have to talk about. It is the gameplay, and the player's experience. I do love the way the game betrays its fans, and even TLOU1. I love Naughty Dog's gut deciding to swing Joel's head out. I do love the journey of Elie losing her humanity through the entire story, and retrieve it in the and, making a decision not finishing Abby. I love this game so much that I think TLOU1 should've have so much different story, which makes no sense(lol).

    NONTHELESS, I also agree with some opinions that this game makes the players feel guilty, which is unnecessary. Player should have not forced to push the square button to swing a pipe to kill, even though I find it is one of the key of driving ourselves to craziness, which is exactly same what Elie feels. I also agree with some opinions that sometimes the players feel like there is no reason to play as Abby, finding her stories and feeling what she feels. Because we do love Elie, we were supposed to never care of Abby. (But in the end, I understood ND's intention... maybe.)

    So, in short, this game is extremely controversial, even for me. I love how this game drives me crazy with shocking stories. I do not like some parts of the game. Still good experience, anyway.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have seen a lot of reviews for this game, that either praise it as a 10/10 game or outright slate it, accusing it or betraying peoples trust, or saying it is badly written. Neither of these cases ring true to me.
    First off (here is the spoiler bit) If you did not see Joel's death coming a mile off, then you haven't been paying attention to storytelling. Joel possibly doomed humanity at the end of the last game. Now while he did this for Ellie, he would have to pay the ultimate price for this action, that may well see humanity go extinct. While it is a bitter pill to swallow, as Joel was an excellent character, i do believe it does not hamper the game. Ellie is a character that we get to see come in to her own, as she sets off after the Wolves. Her progression, her anger and her determination are all palpable, and believable. Abby also gets some decent treatment in that department. She goes from being someone you hate for what she has done, to someone you can understand, she even has her redemption ark, something that is also a traditional story trope. While i can understand why some people are unhappy with the story, you can not say that it is poorly written, while still claiming to be a fan of the original, as the methodology and quality of both games are very similar. The inclusion of a trans character is something that i think has people screaming about "woke" culture, which is quite literally a ridiculous reason to be bitter.
    The ending has also caused some issues for people, again i can understand some disappointment for some players, but i think they made the right call. Ellie is after all, supposed to be the hero, and must find a way back from that precipice, otherwise they run the risk of turning her into another Rick Grimes.
    My biggest issue with the story telling would be that i felt there were too many flashback chapters, or that they went on too long. While i think the development of each character was important, those chapters felt longer than i wanted them too, and i would find myself thinking "oh not another flashback" but other than that i don't feel a need to complain

    Now for the game play aspect. Some of the niggles from the original have been rectified, others still haven't. Gone is the need to craft lots of shivs (mostly) which annoyed me in the last game. However, movement still feels awkward at times. I missed the traversal puzzles that were present more in the first game, and while they have a few bits like that here, i feel there were not enough. While i am not offended by boss battles, there is definitely a rather annoying one later in the game, where the enemy is more the environment, rather than the giant infected that lurches towards you. There are occasions where i feel like my character was in cover, but was easily spotted, despite the same level of cover being sufficient five minutes ago. My next gripe is one of an aesthetic quality, film grain annoys me in games, even more so when the photo mode allows me to take shots without it. i really wanted an option to turn that film grain off for the whole game, which is otherwise remarkable for a PS4 Pro. its visually one of the best games of a generation and will be showcased for years as a good example of what the PS4 was capable of.

    All in all, This is a high quality game, that makes some unpopular choices. but overall, it is a quality title, worthy of praise and not derision. It isn't perfect, but it is excellent.    … Expand

    And even if you don't like the story, because yes everybody is free, this is still a videoGAME, and as a videoGAME this GAME doesn't deserve less than 7 for the technical aspect.

    I loved this game a lot, I lost someone close to me, and this game really describes my sorrow and my anger. I also learned so much from this game. I learned that I have to be really cautious of my decisions, it could affect someone wrongly, and my words could affect someone negatively. For me this game changed me.     Even if the story is not perfect, the game is still a must play. The characters are great, the enemies are well made and it's fun to play. For me it's a great game.

Эбби перс не очень и ее спасает только Оуэн, который был интереснее чем она. Но оценку я поставлю 10 потому что игра мне понравилась)Не заслуженный хейт в сторону игры. So I would say this is actually an 8/10 but because of the review bombing this game has had I've scored 10/10 just so it has some fair representation. It took 2 weeks after I finished the game for me to understand it (I hated it at first) but I have finally come around. The thing for me that takes away from it being 10/10 was the way in which ND killed off Joel - it could have been better and I feel the character deserved a better send off, even if it just meant that Abby was introduced sooner. All in all a great game and I think a part 3 would be amazing, especially if they rounded off everything story wise and made it an iconic gaming trilogy.… Expand

    This is Naughty Dog best game, top of that genre class and one for the ages. Also it shows enormous improvements in gameplay since TLOU and Uncharted 4. It shows also improvements in achievements structure and replayability.
    This game has astonishing narration and is artistically sublime. Incredible graphic too.

    Too much have gamers played by just one side of the story, only seeing the view from one perspective. Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann break that standard with TLOU2.     I have never experienced a game that left me speechless with tears running down my face, and total devastation. So much drama, character development, and world building that tugs at your heart strings, and show you just how much of a story Naughty Dog has created. You definitely get your money’s worth. Those Dogs were barking and they sure have been Naughty.

    An absolutely incredible experience and the most emotionally complex and conflicted narrative I've experienced in a game. This is a game about revenge, but more so, it's about empathy, forgiveness, understanding, and defining the purpose of your own life rather than having it defined for you.

I was upset at first as well with Joel's passing but after playing and finally finishing the game.. I was left speechless for how anazing Of a story it turned out to be. I am also flabbergasted from all of the hate. The negative comments are clearly from people who either don't play video games on PlayStation or haven't given the game a chance after the first hour.

The Last Of Us part II in many ways expands this story, and even though it is painful to see Joel out of the picture so soon, I feel it was necessary for even I to be motivated with Ellie’s goal. I remember thinking ok I’ll stop after this section and then kept playing for the sake of it was my revenge too. And once I switched to abby I felt so conflicted the further I played as her. Did I want Ellie to succeed or Abby to flourish? And although even the end didn’t feel successful to me I could not get it out of my mind. This game is truly a masterpiece for even making it possible for myself to switch and understand other perspectives, and to even feel the emotions I felt. All I really should have said was this game is a must play, for anyone who likes a phenomenal story.… Expand

    This game is an absolute masterpiece. The story is simply outstanding and the characters are like real people, with their own motivations and hopes. I can't understand people reviewing this game with a 0, this proves that fanatics don't have any criteria at all. For me, one of my most favourite games of all time. Do not miss it!

    I enjoyed it. Obviously it was cruel of the developers to force me to play as Abby, which along with Joel's death was the only things I wish were different. But I loved how Ellie's emotions change and ends up forgiving Abby. This is the most heated argument about the game. Most people hated the ending as they thought the entire plot was pointless considering she lost almost everyone andI enjoyed it.     But I believe it was better that way. During the ending I was low key hoping Ellie would just end up forgiving Abby... And then it actually happened. We see a flashback to Elie preparing to forgive Joel and just as she was drowning Abby, she remembers this and realises that this isn't what he would've wanted. She forgives her.

    The whole point of her going back to kill Abby after settling in the farm was to find CLOSURE. She needed to stop seeing Joel everywhere. The only way to find that closure was by finishing this. But at the very end, she realises that just by forgiving her, she finds that closure she longs for. She is happy with her decision. That's what we all want.

    At the end, when no one is at the farm, it's not over yet. Dina and the kid most likely just went to live at Jackson since it must be lonely to live for months alone with a baby. We see Ellie going there as well to join her love and her son.

    I think many of the decisions Naughty Dog made were made with the intention of affecting the player, not the characters. At times that meant betraying the nature of the universe they built since the first game. It is definitely an upgradeable product but we can’t deny the technical and artistic achievements of this game. Once again Naughty Dog evolves throughout the industry.

    Overall for me it was an 8/10. Gameplay, visuals, sound, acting - all is 10/10 as you would expect from Naughty Dog. What made it an 8/10 was the story. Let me say this - it is super dark and depressive. If you thought the first game was depressive, well this whole game was like the cannibal section in the first game, but turned to 11. Like it's brutal, gory and unrelenting in its violence. Like it becomes uncomfortable at points for me. The story is structured in an unusual way. For me personally it made me very involved in the game but for some people the way it was presented was the biggest issue of the game. I will agree that the game is kind of an old take on a classic premise, but that is the same as saying the last of us was a cliché story about a zombie apocalypse. A lot of people were not happy about where the story went, but I believe that Naughty Dog does not owe them anything when it comes to creative liberties with the story. I agree with some reviewers that this should have been the 3rd game not the second and I kind of agree, but I also think that this game should not have existed in the first place. They should have left Joel and Ellie on their own as the first game kinda wrapped up their story rather well (IMO). If you liked the first game for it's gameplay and like great visuals then you will enjoy it just as much as I did. But some people seem to be butt hurt about the wrong reasons and I think they are just a bunch of crybabies who didn't get what they were imagining this game would be. The reason I'm writing it is because I think this game received a lot of undeserved negative reviews... From insecure people who can try and grow over themselves to see a bigger (and brighter) picture.

    I understand that for many players the first part became the beloved game of the decade, creating high expectations for the Part II. But listen me out...

    Ellie. There were obvious clues in the first game that Ellie was homosexual and I'm not even talking about the kiss itself. Remember how awkwardly she tossed the adult magazine out of the car window? If you are disappointed by her being gay despite the beauty of the game and its compelling and complex narrative, go read some books, schedule a visit to a psychotherapist or other mental health professional. Discuss it with him/her. Before you grow old and become your racist homophobic uncle.

    Joel. You are disappointed that Joe is dead? I get it. But that's because you watched too many marvel movies. How many people (and infected) did he kill in the first game? He survived all of those encounters. He even survived a major injury which I find hard to believe but nonetheless he survived against all odds. That's more unbelievable than what actually happened to him in the beginning of the Part II.

    Abby. Her story shows us that she has higher ethical standards than our stubborn protagonist Ellie. She sparred Ellie's life twice and despite that Ellie returned to kill her, losing (once again) her new family — Dina and JJ... As well as her little and ring fingers and thus her ability to play guitar, which reminded her of Joel.

    This is a beautiful game with engaging mechanics and complex characters. We can witness the consequences of their decisions and take a note to become better versions of ourselves.    … Expand

These characters go through hell and back and somehow keep fighting. It’s an incredible piece of art that will have fans talking and debating. This is a must play. A masterpiece.

The mechanics are similar to the first game but have been expanded upon for greater variety in the gameplay, the map and levels are well designed with plenty of hidden away areas improving replayability, and the combat is absolutely fantastic! Storywise I have no complaints either, although I can understand why some people don't enjoy it as much as I do.

    Because while the first TLOU was by no means a feel-good game, part 2 left me emotionally destroyed. I brutally murder someone while playing as Ellie only to find them likeable while playing as Abby, I have to overcome my initial hatred for Abby when faced with the prospect that Joel, from Abby's POV had it coming, and I have to watch Ellie and Abby, two characters I've become attached to, beat each other senseless. Twice. And on top of that, I have to watch Ellie abandon her family for the sake of revenge, only to realise that she's still no closer to finding peace for herself in the vacuum left by Joel's death. Because while the game definately delivers the message of "revenge bad", it's by far the only message of the game. The Last Of Us Part 2 is a beautifully told story of redemption, vengeance and love setting us up for a Part 3 that I hope will be as enjoyable for everyone else as Part 2 was to me.

This might offend some fans, but what is gained in return is a story that is smarter than it has any right to be. Forcing players to feel and think might be its greatest weakness as many of us turn to games as an escape from our existence. A game that not only dares you not to play on but to recognize your own hurt/Id. You must let the game take you where it wants even when you're in disagreement or disbelief, like myself, it's the only way to enjoy the bleakness present in the plot . And as someone who has been through some violence, I can attest to the psychology on display as realistic and valid. If you can't respect the big plot points then remind yourself that one of the things we loved about the original was its uncompromising nature. Games have come a long way from even that game and I hope this marks a shift to even bolder storytelling in the future of aaa gaming.there are some negatives that stand out in the game play, small glitches etc but the presentation alone made me forgive it. The visuals and the character models are top notch. The sound design is amazing. Play it with headphones or a 5.1 or above system. The story could be tighter as it takes a bit to get to certain points, and it could be shorter as a whole. Some of the difficulty spikes seem random and unforgiving but not enough to make me quit. I knew a little bit about the spoilers and was at first skeptical but then before playing decided to just go in with a clear mind. With that in mind, I thoroughly enjoyed the story, the way the characters change, and the themes of trauma and forgiveness (it’s not a story about revenge...it’s a story about forgiveness. When you realize that the ending is sooo much better). The story isn’t by any means perfect. There are a few areas I thought were weak and I wish they had focused a bit more on. Definitely some chronological changes I would love to see made which might help the pacing and tension of some scenes. Graphics and attention to detail are top notch. I don’t really recall any bugs in the game at all: major or minor. Very well polished up product, technically speaking. The music and atmosphere in which the story takes place are very engrossing. It’s easy to get lost in the vibe of the game, which is always a cool thing. Exploring such a huge city was neat. Anyways. It’s a great game. It’s got a great lesson in it. The story can be pretty **** heavy at times, so grab a stiff drink and be prepared to want to talk to your therapist again afterwards.… Expand

    In the Last Of Us world there is no good or bad, your actions receive consequences, I truly love how Neil Druckman portrayed the story of Abby, while you save Ellie from the fireflies in the first game you are given the option to shoot four of the doctors who helped do the operation on Ellie, if you look at the statistics I can only imagine many people shot the doctors, I love how The Last Of Us gives you that sense of choice because there was no need to shoot the doctors because they were all innocent people to the point when it turns out that one of the doctors was Abby’s father. I truly believe that Naughty Dog is trying to contribute something completely different that has never been done before in the history of gaming and I believe that is the concept of humanizing violence. As you play as Abby you interact with her friends and when you play as Ellie you interact with Ellie’s friends. As you play as Ellie you end up killing Abby’s friends who at the time remain anonmyous.

    For both storys Ellie has a quite simple A to B revenge mission while Abby has a slightly more complex yet interesting story that has more less nothing to do with Ellie’s story. As you play as Abby you find out about her suffering with the loss of her father and how she has prepared most of her life to kill Joel and her longterm relationship with Owen and how both Owen, Abby and Manny have fallen out with working for the WLF and how Nicholas Dixon the leader of the WLF has called war on the Seraphites a religious cult group that believe the pandemic is due to sin. As you encounter the main land Abby has potrayed both Nicholas and the WLF by befriending two young former seraphites.

    The first game offers a slightly more simple plot while part 2 brings a slightly more interesting yet diverse dilemma to the table

It's a dark, brutal, emotionally draining game that clocks in anywhere between 26-34 hours depending on how you play through it. It's a story about revenge at any cost, and what happens when that revenge becomes an obsession.

    It's a dark game for a dark time. There are no happy endings here.

    I personally abhorred the idea of playing anyone but Ellie, but by the end of the game, I felt awfully conflicted about the actions the game made you complicit in.

    Убийство Джоэла в самом начале игры с которого добрая половина, а то и больше, игроков начали бомбить и ставить игре 0 даже не пройдя дальше, показывает решимость авторов (в частности Дракманна) сделать игру чисто про Элли и Эбби, если бы Джоэл выжил, то многие бы еще сильнее бомбили пытайся они показывать Элли и Эбби забыв о нем.
    Те, кто говорят, что она скучная - поиграйте на максимальной сложности, вас будут как щенков гонять по арене и вы поймете зачем такие огромные арены для боев.
    Сюжет игры не гениальный (он и в первой части не был таковым, кто бы что не говорил), но он очень хорош. Повесточка, как многие визжат, есть, но ее настолько мало и она ну вот ВООБЩЕ не влияет на сюжет, что по сути можно сказать, что ее и нет.
    Сюжетная ветка за Элли выше всех похвал, проходил с большим удовольствием и местами специально тормозил, чтобы найти еще какой-нибудь диалог или еще какую-нибудь плюху. Видно, как сильно ее изменили в сравнении с первой частью игры - и это очень хорошо и интересно. Утверждающие, что Дракманн де не имел права так поступать с героями, АУ, это его персонажи, и поступать он мог так как хотел и как считал нужным, поэтому утритесь. Что бы он не сделал, все бы ФАНАТЫ первой части орали - все равно не то. Я люблю первую часть, но смотреть, так сказать, те же яйца только в профиль, я не хотел и не хочу, поэтому я благодарен за классные флешбэки, атмосфера первой части вернулась с ними, но этого достаточно. Это другая игра, про другие темы, про другого главного героя (или героев), поэтому, спасибо Дракманну, что не сделал клишированный сиквел, который точно зайдет всем, спасибо.
    Сюжет же за Эбби, мне понравился, но он затянут. Не обосновано затянут. На прохождение ее ветки у меня ушло где-то 13-15 часов, хотя все стало понятно где-то часов за 7-8.
    Концовка игры, как и сама игра в целом, не обесценивает первую, как некоторые здесь писали, она как раз подчеркивает правильность действий Джоэла, что она спас девочку, которая в последствии сама начала разрушать свою жизнь, а затем осознала это и смогла остановится пока не стало слишком поздно (или уже стало?)

    Итог, это однозначно очень хорошо сделанная игра, исполненная на высоком сценарном, техническом и дизайнерском уровне. Красивый мир, который интересно исследовать, люди, показанные в своей природной жестокости. Да, у меня тоже был момент, когда я сказал себе - что за херню я прохожу? Однако, я дошел до конца, и с уверенностью могу сказать - это не Анчик 4, где все кончается хэппиэндом, это очень качестенная история, которая опустошит вас (если вы любите первую часть), а потом наполнит совершенно другими эмоциями, которые заставят пересмотреть события первой игры, с другого ракурса, с настоящего ракурса.    … Expand

    I've been a gamer for the past 2 decades... I'm shocked at the hate this game has received despite the very obvious attention to detail and production quality. It was emotionally taxing but ... The experience (story, gameplay, stealth, AI ...) was something so special that really only happens very rarely in the gaming world (like once or twice in a generation)... But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
