Jun 5, 2015The Executioner is a nice way to put an end to The Evil Within downloadable content series. It changes completely the gameplay mechanics, allowing us to play in a really aggressive way, it clarifies some doubts left with the main game's ending.
-
Jun 30, 2015A completely different take of the twisted world born on Shinji's Mikami's Mind, that may not be everyone's kind of horror game. Besides that, this DLC falls too short on content.
-
Jun 2, 2015The Executioner is short, but enjoyable. And at $5, it's worth playing on its own or as a fun way to wrap up your time The Evil Within.
-
Jun 5, 2015It's not a great conclusion to The Evil Within's Season Pass. It's a dull and lame piece of entertainment, and it doesn't offer anything new or interesting in terms of gameplay.
-
May 28, 2015Although the new arena-based melee combat is an interesting and commendable sidestep from The Evil Within, The Executioner doesn't offer much in the way of a story or deep combat, making up for it with a low price and decent replayability.
-
May 27, 2015It could have been a decent extra mode for the main game, but it isn't worthy of being purchased. The reasons: too short in length, too short in variety.
-
Jun 2, 2015That leaves The Executioner feeling more like a tacked on add-on than a true expansion. Fun, but better off as something separate from The Evil Within.
