    Summerset is broken. It had the potential to be the best expansion for the game to date, but in its current PS4 patch there is a game-breaking bug that prevents you from using your torch to pass through a spider web in a later main quest. The prompt to do so to progress just isn't there. Save your money. You've been warned.

    Game is mired with constant crashes or screen freezes on PVE and PVP servers on all platforms, PC, XBOX, PS4. ESO refuses to address the issue with a statement to the gaming community about the status of the problem opting instead to pretend it doesn’t exist or like it’s the first they ever heard of it.     I played game for 1 year! I closed all quests and I enjoyed it! But the fighting system in game is very bad! I equip myself by guides, made a good build, but my dps didn’t grow! Fighting system is idiotic, with swaping, light attacks every 1 second! And fights became like pushing buttons nonstop! I can’t kill last boss in Maelstrom Arena, because it is very hard! I bought game for relax,I played game for 1 year! I closed all quests and I enjoyed it! But the fighting system in game is very bad!     In 2020 i played this game for more than 3000 hours and all i have to say is LAG LAG BUGS CANT CAST SKILLS DEVS DONT LITSEN **** SETS P2W SETS

    What a **** mess. This game should have gone totally F2P years ago. Heavy microtransactions and a steep "premium" subscription on top of the initial charge for everything past the Morrowind "chapter" of what is otherwise a solid--if inconsistent and confusing--action MMO.

    Still--it's a fun romp with friends. It's like a TES-themed westernized modern version of TERA with an interesting,    What a **** mess. This game should have gone totally F2P years ago.     It is the best MMO you can get on PS4. The game works well on consoles, and it is a pretty relaxing experience with fitting controls and graphics. The best way to play the game is on PC, but if you only have a console and want a long and relaxing game to explore and quest in, then you will like this game, especially the expansions.

    Summerset in Elder Scrolls Online offers an all new area, but not much is new for long-term players of the game. The aesthetic of the isles has long been available in the core game, and while the additions of jewelry crafting, collectables, the Psijic Order, and the Cloudrest trial are all nice there just isn’t anything that rises to the level of bringing back old dormant players nor introducing new ones. Dedicated players and those who play competitively will need to have this, however.

    The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is another easy expansion to recommend to existing players. It's stuffed with high quality quests, and the island itself makes for an inviting and enjoyable setting. Developer ZeniMax Online Studios has found a real consistency with its output, and the future continues to look bright for Tamriel.
