Sep 1, 2023Man of Medan lacks the campy charm of Until Dawn, but still offers an unnerving horror adventure with consequences that felt directly linked to my actions.

Jan 11, 2023Man of Medan is good, much better than House of Ashes but not as good as Little Hope and The Devil in me.

Nov 3, 2022Not as perfect as "Until Dawn" but still amazing. Played it two times and can only recommend it. Graphics are bad, but I didnt expect something else. German synchro is **** too

Sep 15, 2022Step back in comparison to Until Dawn. Boring characters and it's pacing isn't great either

Aug 15, 2022Good
* Interactive storytelling
* Pretty good visuals
Bad
* Clunky tank controls
* Short game
* Story itself is bland
* Characters are bland
* Besides a few jump scares, nothing scary in general
* Just like Until Dawn, feels like “Traits and Relationships” doesn’t really change anything within the story
* Wouldn’t play this game for more than $20. Luckily it was free -

Jul 17, 2022Проходное интерактивное кино на пару вечером вечеров с друзьями. Одному играть категорически не советую.

Jul 12, 2022Достаточно странная игра от подобной компании, until dawn была в разы лучше, играл на пс 5
-
Jul 5, 2022A little bit better than little hope, but so far the first two games of the anthology has some of the most monotonous gameplay, even for a interactive game. It does have a better story, decisions, and characters, but still falls flat in terms of horror and the interactive genre. Not bad if you want to snag it on sale , though.

Jun 17, 2022Good enough game, but noticeably lacking compared to Until Dawn. Was also massively disappointed with how... not scary this game ended up being. It has it's moments, it isn't bad, but it's not great either.

Nov 12, 2021Le pasa como a la mayoría de este tipo de juegos, empieza bien pero se complica demasiado la vida.

Oct 30, 2021Stunning looking game with minor tehnical hick ups. Too short and characters are sometimes stupid. Controls can be pain. Cool story and great atmosphere.
-
Oct 17, 2021There’s nothing special in this game! Nothing horror or scary stuffs or a enjoyable gameplay, this game SUCKS IN EVERY WAY! SO don’t buy it!
-
Jul 24, 2021This game is pretty mediocre. The story is kinda dumb, very predictable and way too short, the characters are one dimensional, there is not really any character development and the voice acting isn't great either. The only good part is the variety of endings, that's it.

Jul 3, 2021Summary:
Personally, I was disappointed with this game. Didn't like the story. Though, multiplayer/cooperative mode was interesting and fun to try. -

-
Feb 23, 2021Playing with a friend it was an enjoyable experience but simply not scary and too predictable. Not bad but disappointing. 67/100

Jan 29, 2020Even though Man of Medan is far less inspired than its studio predecessor Until Dawn, it offers an enjoyable horrific atmosphere, with good ideas and well thought out sequences. Unfortunately we would have appreciated more surprises and an extended lifespan, which would have given us the time to be really afraid. Everything is going too fast and we have the feeling that the story is sloppy. Too bad because this first chapter of The Dark Pictures has a good potential, but all it does is just scratch the surface.

CD-ActionOct 25, 2019Supermassive’s newest work is a step back from Until Dawn on every level – including visual design which, though solid, ends up monotonous in comparison. [12/2019, p.58]

Oct 11, 2019Man of Medan starts out well enough but just falls apart towards the end leading up to a pretty anti-climatic ending thanks to a twist that was given away at the very beginning of the story. It's not terrible but it's not nearly as good as Until Dawn. Still, as a fan of Until Dawn, I still enjoyed the story for what it was but I didn't really have a desire to go back and play through it again after finishing it the first time.
