Oct 13, 2017In the end, The Coma: Recut delivers a solid (albeit short) 2D horror experience. However, the game as a whole suffers a bit from being a one-hit wonder in the gameplay. After being chased 7-8 times in a row, the 9th time just doesn't scare you anymore. It changes the gameplay from a run and hide horror to here we go again monotony. The game's short length definitely helps enough that I can say if you enjoy these survival horror games with no fighting, and don't mind the repetitive gameplay, The Coma: Recut may be right up you alley.

Oct 16, 2017Coma: Recut has some good things going for it. It has great atmosphere and a great artstyle and sound design. It even starts out as a pretty decent horror game but unfortunately that only last so long. There isn’t enough variety to keep it fresh and challenging.

Sep 27, 2017While it starts off strong, The Coma: Recut sets creative traps for itself that keep it from being a short and sweet horror romp.

Sep 24, 2017With an interesting story and a strong sense of exploration, The Coma: Recut's wonderful art and sound design finds itself undercut by some frustration. The chase can feel a little weary at times and the backtracking can be tedious. Still, there's things to admire from this short, sharp shock.
